  1. No surprise at all. Fewer seats = more demand. This was expected all along. He took posturing and negotiating through the media at face value.
  2. It’s already over in reality. It won’t truly end though, until people stop listening to Democrat politicians, the media, and the Dem propaganda arm known as the CDC. Mass non compliance is the only way.
  3. Stakes are just a bit higher this week than @ Jax was; playoff berth, win makes week 18 a t-shirt and hat game etc
  4. Devin Hester made the list, so that could be a good sign for Tasker in the future. Many voters just won’t check the ballot for a guy that was a part time player. Could signal a shift in thinking, although Heater did score TDs. Ultimately I don’t think Hester makes the HOF and it’s a long shot for Tasker as well.
  5. They did. Also, waxing nostalgic about the Patriots December exploits with the all time best QB at the helm might be a teensie bit unfair. It’s as if the Boston sportswriters subscribe to the idea that the Pats rightful place is in first.
  6. Trump or DeSantis will win the Presidency in the ‘24 election.
  7. Yes isn’t it odd that they’re suddenly acknowledging “ case counts” may be higher than the official numbers? Any logical person has known this all along as there’s no random testing and probably half or more of cases are asymptomatic. As you point out the consequences of this current variant are less severe so now “cases” are the only way to keep the sheep scared. There will be a huge campaign pushing the overwhelming number of cases and the need for mail in balloting. More cheating is the Dems only hope of avoiding a massacre at the polls in 2022.
  8. I agree with that , we’re talking about differences in economic status. The simple answer is that you don’t. In a free capitalist society, there will be differences in economic status and some will have a path with fewer obstacles. This doesn’t mean that opportunities are not there for those willing to work for them. The standards are the same regardless of advantages that may exist at home etc. People with seemingly every advantage still fail, and those who had few advantages have become wildly successful. That’s the beauty of America. It truly is the land of opportunity for anyone with the wherewithal to take advantage of it. It doesn’t mean it will be easy, or that everyone will start from the exact same point. The great thing about America is that economic class isn’t static. Where you start doesn’t have to be where you end up.
  9. Well that’s the way proponents of “ equity” look at it. What they want is the same outcome for everyone and that’s not right. In school if some can’t meet the standard,, then the standard is removed ( no more gifted and talented , advance placement etc) because it must be racist. We already have equality, no further processes are necessary. Opportunity is available for anyone who wants to follow the rules and strive to meet the standards. A world where the individual is celebrated regardless of whether they meet the standards is stupid. I think we all want engineers that can get the right answer to a math calculation, only the best pilots to fly planes, the most competent doctors etc.
  10. They sure as heck should. Not so sure they will but here’s to hoping.
  11. Not anymore it’s not. Some may have those views on the shot ( I hesitate to call them a vaccine )and I respect them, but most of us have gotten our jabs. However, politicians want to force us into endless restrictions, masks, etc etc regardless of the shots they claimed would end it all. All over what amounts to a stronger version of a cold or flu. Clearly there is another agenda at work. Hochul gave a preview of hers when she stated the we need to have no excuse mail in balloting in NYS. Hmmmm. Pretty sure the voters just rejected that in November.
  12. Well no we can’t. Why? Politicians won’t allow it. Mass disobedience to any restrictions is required.
  13. It means “ we ( 14% or so of population “ hate white people and demand ( and want lame brained caucasians to agree) that you give up what you’ve earned in life so that others ( us) can have it. This goes for anything and everything in society and if you disagree or think we live in a meritocracy you are racist. Imagine a Caucasian (perhaps yourself )living in say the Congo and demanding to be placed in power, given wealth etc for no reason other than the shade of your complexion. Then trying to convince the residents there that you deserve it. That’s pretty much what it means.
  14. True. You’re going to have to beat winning teams, but some matchups are just better than others.
  15. He was, reportedly. Looks like Dawkins may finally be rounding into form. Good timing if he is.
  16. Anyone know when the replay of Bills/ Pats is set to air on NFLN? Thanks!
  17. Decent day, but gave up a few more points and yards than their season average. B-. A 4th down stop or two and maybe a forced fumble probably bumps it to an A-.
  18. That is the most worn -out Belichick narrative “ he takes away what you do best” . Repeated incessantly, but completely moronic. EVERY coach focuses on stopping what an opponent does best. Think about it.
  19. Trouble is, schools are cranking out intellectual lightweights that absolutely will vote for these politicians. They’re also trying to redefine “ fair” , “ equitable “ and “ justice” among other things.
  20. You’re close, at least by my best recollection. It was 1995 vs the Dolphins. Even though a Bills win wouldn’t secure the division title just yet, I know what you mean. I can also appreciate the enthusiasm. Some may be disappointed with the Bills season thus far, but this game is still the kind of football intensity that Bills fans have longed for since the Kelly era.
  21. You can rest easy, you’re wrong.
  22. I don’t like ‘em. Not too difficult for me.
  23. Huge hold by the LT on that pass
  24. Not very much since around the final seconds ticking away vs TEN
  25. We know what happened in this draft. The point is that they can get good players even with a top QB on the payroll.
