I think the Bills braintrust will go with the experience of Yeldon. They value the STs and probably won’t sit T. Jones in favor of both Williams and Yeldon. Williams could be used in short yardage/ goal to go type situations but the numbers look like he will sit for this one.

Leslie Frazier interviewing for Texans job

Whatever keeps Watson in Houston is what matters most. -
A little snow could actually give the WRs an advantage vs DBs ; probably a slight edge to the Bills. Any more than that plus high winds would hamper the Bills style more than the Ravens so they would get an edge there. Yes, both teams have to play in it so anything to do with cold etc doesn’t mean much. The teams styles are so different that high winds and heavier snow would impact one more than the other.

I don’t believe the red color rush are an option for the playoffs. I’m not a fan of those at all, so no upset about it. It should be announced soon, but I think we’ll get blue on white.

Which class of 2018 QB gets the highest extension

Like most of these deals, the most recently signed contract will be the largest. -
What is Simms supposed to say, that the Bills will blow out the Ravens ? This is a very close matchup and the game will probably reflect that. I thought the line on the Colts game was a just a bit high at 7 or 6.5 or whatever. I had the Bills winning 31-24 and I wasn’t too far off. The weakest link in the AFC playoffs was probably the Steelers as their play had been spotty to poor for the last month and a half. Not surprisingly, they’re one and done. I’d have loved for them to eek out a win vs the Browns and come to Buffalo ready to be vanquished. So would most Bills fans. Anyway, the AFC is a tougher hill to climb, even as the 2 seed. The Bills are a very good team as well as the Ravens. Each team has a way to win this game, we’ll have to do a lot of things right on both sides of the ball to get the W and advance. Anyone that was expecting a cakewalk with the Colts wasn’t being realistic.

Passer Ratings from Wild Card Weekend: Josh Allen is #1
Boatdrinks replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one would have predicted this heading into the 2020 season, that’s for sure. Another incredible stat in a season full of superlatives for Allen. As for Jackson, he’s the outlier in this bunch and surely illustrates why he’s such an X factor. He’s the only one in the bottom five that was a winner this weekend. -
Bills signing Kicker for playoffs, in case of emergency
Boatdrinks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they changed the rules re: practice squad, roster call ups etc for the playoffs. They’ve been signing players since that was implemented at WR etc. -
Leslie Frazier interviewing for Texans job

If it means Deshaun Watson stays in HOU, by all means I hope Frazier gets the job. -
I don’t have last year’s Ravens game on the DVR anymore lol, anyone remember who spied Jackson in that game. Edmunds had a good day iirc. How about snap counts? How big was Lawson, Phillips , Star etc. I still think many elements of that game plan will be used , with a few wrinkles by McD / Frazier because the Ravens are mostly the same. Other players on our D will have to step into those roles, but curious how it was done. I think Poyer or Hyde blew the coverage on the big catch and run TD by their TE.

Why are we so bad covering the TE?

Every scheme has a weakness, and it’s somewhat of a choice with the Bills combined with personnel issues. Bottom line, there is no perfect defense . You choose what damage you most want to limit. That’s the chess match. The Colts are a balanced offense that does a lot of things well, if nothing exceptionally. The vanilla gameplan by McD and Frazier was a reflection of that. The Ravens, on the other hand are a very specialized offense and the Bills defensive gameplan is sure to reflect that. Just review last year’s Ravens game for evidence. The Defense will need to execute at a high level , no doubt. It’s a big ask, but far from an impossible one. Jackson can blow up even a great gameplan, but it’s not inevitable that he will. The flip side of the equation is the Bills offense. They were a weak unit last season , but are now at an elite level. The Ravens scored 20 points on a very bad 3rd down defense. If the Bills offense functions at a level near what they’ve been the last 6 or 7 weeks they will be able to win this game. -
Is everyone underestimating the Chiefs?
Boatdrinks replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both are correct. Frazier’s gameplan Vs Colts was pure vanilla, and no that won’t get it done vs Ravens. They’re highly specific and require a certain less conventional defense. -
Yes, HE’S COMING TO BUFFALO.....confirmed. This thread should die.
