You can’t be serious Exile. How on earth was 2016 rigged ? The Dems thought they had a slam dunk with a continuation of Obama in Hillary. It was a gross miscalculation. In 2020 they knew they were dead in the water. The Coronavirus was their salvation- and the reason why it became a religion for the left. Cuomo was not surprisingly one of the first to declare that voting in person 8 months down the road was going to be “ unsafe” and that a flood of non requested mail in ballots would be sent out. Other States followed suit , and their scheme was coordinated and executed in key States. Lockdowns and destroying the strong Trump economy were another key to their plan. The lefts rage was so deep with Trump in power that anything and everything was done to sabotage the impending re- election of the 45th President. The US now wallows in the despair and dismal economic outlook brought on by sleepy Joe and the disastrous policies of the Democrat party.

Haven’t seen any deflection. Everyone believes this guy is evil. Nor is anyone giving Buffalo a bad name. Sorry you’re not finding what you’re looking for here.

Conservatives and libertarians are not racist. As a group , libs actually seem obsessed with race where it consumes their very existence- along with their preoccupation with Donald Trump.

Nothing should or is being downplayed. Quite the opposite it’s being seized upon by the Democrat party. Meanwhile 33 people were shot in Chicago this very weekend. Do you care much about those shootings or any people killed ? California ?

Actually neither “ side” needs to take a hit for his actions or his professed racism and motives. It shouldn’t be exploited for Political purposes ( as it sadly already is) but questions should be asked about why the Red Flag law that exists just for this purpose failed to snag this scumbag.

This is so true. Just watched Sean Hannity lead off his show with the Buffalo shooting. He said “ a racist monster “ shot 13 people. Is that spewing rhetoric or what?

True. Tibs is right about one thing. He had easy access and shouldn’t have because of NYS Red Flag law. It didn’t do what it was supposed to, and Tibs should be on the phone to legislators through the night to find out why.

Well no one on this board is downplaying such as heinous crime, the worst in Buffalo history and I believe the first since the City Grill shooting. ( correct me if I’m wrong ). Perpetrated by an outsider in a (supposedly) racist town. What on earth does this have to do with the Jan 6th mass trespassing in which an unarmed White protester was killed by Capitol Police , pray tell? Right? I think TH3s criteria might be good for something like having a child, though.

Agreed . Way too much focus on labels and words, not enough on ultimately being anti crime and pro law enforcement. Perhaps you should read up on this case and the nut job that carried it out. He isn’t from Buffalo or even close by. Buffalo is decidedly Democrat in every sense. You think Buffalo is racist because of a story involving a few ( probably drunk) idiots in a bar?

NYS already has a red flag law. Seems this kid would have fit in that category. Did the law fail or the people around him ( teachers , police etc) not to mention his parents ? Legislators cant rid us of crime, but we can get serious about penalties and committing the mentally disturbed.

We know the motivations, but shouldn’t be consumed by them. Deranged and evil people commit murder and often use guns. We know because shootings happen every day. We diminish those shootings and the lives lost when we focus only on those involving certain motives to drive a political agenda. Sadly major media outlets are complicit in this and the Buffalo shooting will get far more coverage than the other two that occurred over the same weekend. The focus should be on tough enforcement of existing laws and harsh sentences for criminals.

Bingo. Criminals and evil people are the problem when politicians refer to “ gun violence”. The only thing we can do is lock them up and bring back the death penalty. Harsh penalties are more helpful to the law abiding citizens than restricting their access to firearms.

I’m all for the Bills funding , but she’s awful otherwise. NY not a swing state so it’s already in a box for Presidential elections , save for Reagan anomaly.

Thank you Yall. Tibs is one of the biggest race baiters on the board. Police are trained to de escalate when a suspect turns a gun on themselves. Suspects are often shot when they do not follow instructions and make a move to reach for a weapon or begin to aim it at officers etc. This killer knew exactly what he was doing and wanted to be taken alive. I wonder if Tibs knows about NYS existing “red flag” law and why it wasn’t used on this psycho ? A liberal approach to crime was more responsible than any rhetoric.

I can get on board with restricting someone who has made such a threat. He can’t legally own a handgun because the vast majority of shootings involve handguns, not rifles. Criminals obviously do lots of things that they can’t do legally. Legislation is hardly a panacea, as murders take place every single day. Restricting the rights of law abiding citizens in the hopes of deterring a few miscreants is not the answer.
