  1. He said specifically that Article 2 means he can do whatever he wants.
  2. That would be phenomenal.
  3. If the Democrats had run anyone but Clinton in 16 they win. They win this year because women, especially middle class suburban women, are leaving Trump. And I can tell you that based on living in a Republican district and talking to women who refuse to vote for the man. They do not buy his attempt at trying to create hysteria in the suburbs. He also is losing folks like me, older white men with college educations. His mismanagement of the Covid situation puts the elderly at risk, and the insults and irrational rants make folks like me convinced he is incapable of running the country. I didn't vote for either in 16, I voted for Johnson and Weld. But frankly I would vote for a ham sandwich if it was running against Trump this year. I do so because I want our constitutional form of government to continue to exist. When Trump says he can do anything he wants under the Constitution, when he says he takes no responsibility for a pandemic that has killed over 200k citizens (and we know from his own words with Woodward that he knew about the dangers), he disqualifies himself from occupying the office. There will be policies under a Biden admin I will strongly disagree with, but we will still have the government framed by our Constitution vs. the autocracy Trump wants. And that is what this election should be about. And from talking with folks like me, same demographic, many feel the same way.
  4. This is crap. The staff has to prepare game plans for two teams within days and could cancel one of them a day of two before.
  5. If I’m the Bills I refuse to play a team this weekend that had so many test positive over the past week. And while I’d rather get the W on the field I think the Titans should have to forfeit. They are the ones who decided to violate protocols and caused the game to be cancelled (I presume it will be), so they should have to pay the cost.
  6. Nonsense. They do every year after the colleges finish conference games.
  7. Truman. Didn't agree with everything he did, but he was faced with huge decisions and made them without apology.
  8. Possible yes. Possible the other way as well.
  9. If he tested positive a couple days after the game he undoubtedly had some virus on Sunday.
  10. Not surprising. Given the ineptness of the NFC East the Football Team can still win the division.
  11. I will be stunned if we play the Titans game anytime soon. Way too many positive cases there. I’d also be stunned if we don’t see positive later this week given that Hurst from the Raiders was spreading virus during the game Sunday. I thought when this started we’d see the beginning but not the end of the season. Hope I’m wrong but it’s heading that way
  12. Youth with athleticism wins out over experience without athleticism. More the rule than the exception
  13. Right. The Bills aren’t. Of course.
  14. Can we give them credit for stepping up or is that too much for you to deal with?
  15. You might want to watch the second half
  16. Some folks in the game thread need to review their posts and realize how silly they sounded.
  17. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  18. Hope I’m wrong given how great the boys season is going, but I think we’re heading towards a suspension of the season soon. My bet is many more positives are going to start showing up around the league.
  19. RIP to one of the originals. I was there but too young then to have firm memories of him
  20. Hey Shaw, I'm with you on Josh, and I'd take him right now over Allen. But I read your OP to say that Jackson would never get there and I'm not so sure about that just yet. I think he'll have a very productive career. Even in today's league, give me a great O line and a Rb or two that can punish the other team and I'll take my chances.
  21. As long as OJ exists in Bills history it will be hard to have a more exciting player. As for Shaw's take, I agree with him 99% of the time. This 1%, I think he's being a bit premature.
  22. You have to give Douglas time to rebuild the Jets. And priority #1 should be to fire Gase. He got a reputation riding Peyton’s coattails, and has shown he has neither the talent nor temperament to be a HC. I think Darnold has what it takes to be a good NFL QB but it’s starting to look like a David Carr scenario.
  23. Two hardest decisions in sports: drafting a QB and picking a HC.
  24. Never read their stuff, never will
