If Trump loses and refuses to leave
oldmanfan replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Assuming he loses, if he tries to stay in the White House on January 20th he'll be removed by either the Secret Service or FBI. Physically if need be. -
3rd and 19.......Haven't learned yet!
oldmanfan replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't care who is on the field, you can't give up 20 yards on a 3rd and 19. -
Tough game for him last night. Tough game for a lot of Bills last night.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
oldmanfan replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Masks help prevent spread. We can all go about our business if we would all just wear them, and it would deprive the virus of hosts and thus bring the pandemic under control much quicker. The science on this is irrefutable. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

There's no reason not to. Just wear a mask while doing so. Higher death rate than other Scandinavian countries. Plus their citizens voluntarily take things like distancing seriously, unlike our country. -
Are we still one of the top teams!?

Let me ask you this. It seems you want them to be 9-7. Why? -

Yes, I read your take and I disagree. We did not play well yesterday, but we were on fire the other 4 games. Unfortunately, you choose to focus on yesterday's game in which we were missing a key weapon in Brown, and missing our best two players on defense, and then take the sky is falling approach. The Chiefs looked terrible against the Raiders Sunday. Do you also think the Chiefs are going to have a problem now - are they a 9-7 team? I'm going to go out on a limb and say your answer is no. I have watched the Bills since their inception, and it never ceases to amaze me how pessimistic fans get about their team. Yes, they have some things to figure out after yesterday, namely why they are having trouble defending the middle of the filed on pass plays. Whether they need to change scheme, personnel or what I'm not sure, but we have seen them have tough games on D under McD's tenure and he has figured out ways to stem the tide. I am not worried about our offense at all; Josh has thrown really one bad pass all year, the pick in the second half yesterday. I think we'll get Tre and Milano back, probably make some other personnel adjustments (I'd bring Zimmer back onto the D line and I'd give Neal a shot instead of Johnson). make some scheme adjustments (defensive ends- set the edge!!!) and we should be OK. -

Yes, Chicken Little, you see the sky is falling. No I do not think we lose to the Pats twice, I think we beat either the Chiefs or the Seahawks (Seahawks have no defense; our offense should have a big day there). Steelers will be very tough. -
Hello, resident Josh Allen "Hater" here to Report
oldmanfan replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds is still thinking too much before reacting. You would think the light would be on a little brighter by now. I have never thought he should be moved outside but I'm starting to see the rationale for it. Last night they really missed Tre and Milano and Brown. But that didn't lose the game. Way too many mistakes (how many false starts did we have?), not enough adjustments by the coaches, just an overall blah performance. -

Yes. Bills fans get so ridiculous at times. We had a bad game last night. The Chiefs had a bad game against the Raiders on Sunday. Yet no one thinks the Chiefs are all of a sudden going to fall apart. Seattle can't stop anyone on D and have won a couple games by miracles. Josh wasn't great yesterday, he was good and threw one bad pick. The D was really hurt by the loss of Tre and Milano, and I expect Beane and McD will be looking at ways to upgrade personnel today (I'd start with putting Zimmer back in on the D line). They have to figure out how to play the middle of the field on passing plays better ; maybe have Edmunds take deeper drops or play three safeties all the time. But we've seen the D struggle before and McD has figured it out. -

Bad week all around. It does not mean this team is bad. Get Tre and Milano back, use this game as incentive. We’ll be fine. -

Ain’t got it tonight but as with every week there’s a ton of folks who show up here to say the sky is falling them never comment during the week. You should be ashamed of yourselves. -

The reasons I won't vote for Biden.
oldmanfan replied to Westside's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He did everything he said he’d do? I’ll start with two questions: 1. How much money has Mexico given us to pay for a wall? 2. Where is the infrastructure? -
Amy Coney Barrett

I agree, which is why I don't see Biden doing that. We need to get back to representatives that are more than party, on both sides of the aisle. -

Republicans should have kept this in mind with Garland -
Amy Coney Barrett

She's qualified to sit on the bench. I am sure I won't agree with some of her decisions, much like I don't agree with some liberal justice opinions, but there's really no questioning her qualifications. Regarding the packing stuff, McConnell was ridiculous on what they did with Garland, and two faced with this nomination. f I were Biden, I would say something to this effect when asked the question: The Republican Senate claims that the people spoke about what they want for the court when they elected a Republican Senate in 2016 and 2018. If the democrats take control of the Senate this election, as well as the Executive branch, and also continue to hold the House, would it not be evidence of the people's will in terms of what they want for the judiciary? I am not a proponent of adding justices to the court, but in our representative democracy the will of the people must be heard just as Mr McConnell and his colleagues have stated. -
