  1. There absolutely is. As a matter of fact many people have it done, because as they get older you have to clean between the wrinkles as they can get gross or even moldy or infected. Freakin great dogs though, like a pitbull with the heart of a bunny. Well I think they rescue me just as much as I did, them.
  2. I think if you are going to do realignments or scheduling changes they should apply some of the spirit of the newer NHL scheduling, where every team plays in every arena, every year. Obviously thats not possible because we don't have 82 games in the NFL, but they should put emphasis on getting teams into all the other stadiums as often as possible. Could create new rivalries and bring fans in to see their favorite team, in their hometown, even if their team isn't from there.
  3. White meat is winning?! How... HOW?
  4. So sad. 16 is quite awhile so she gave it a hell of a run. Had a cairn terrier when I was a kid that made it to 16 as well. That's why I have a bunch of dogs. When I lost my german shepherd Ma Dukes to liver cancer at only 6 years old, Bocephus (my only other dog at the time) was decimated. Obviously so was I, but he was beside himself. I had to get another dog, and then another...
  5. The Family My Dogs Red meat Good health And... ...Stihl chainsaws. Seriously. I'll leave off the truck and shotgun to avoid being called a hillbilly ?
  6. Just 3 of us this year so I picked up some 30 ounce aged Angus T-bone porterhouse's. Beats the living hell out of a turkey.
  7. Xena the Rottweiler Bocephus the Pit/American Bulldog mix Moose the Coonhound/Pit mix All rescued from local shelters
  8. Silly maybe... But has been a decision maker for a team during the worst stretch of futility in our history. He is a marketer and has probably succeeded at that, but in the world of football ops he has been terrible by every metric. We keep being told he has no influence until it is proven he did, and he keeps getting promoted. Has been a (very bad) GM, has made (very bad) personnel decisions as well as having major influence on all GM and HC hires for more than a decade. I would argue it's silly to go to bat for someone who has been terrible for that many years. Curse or not, the fact that he still works here, especially in a high position, is absolutely rediculous. Psychologists? Lol Displacement maybe if he had no fault. He is directly responsible for many problems, and involved in many others.
  9. I'm with dunkrk... We should draft one. RBs are better when young anyways, and I don't know how long Dennison will be around, at least not enough to get a guy because he knows him.
  10. I generally agree with the OP on moet points. Like I posted in other threads, if we are going to let Mcd and Beane go this far and gut the roster, now we have to let them implement they're vision. Otherwise we just let them tear down, let's see if they can rebuild.
  11. I have been calling for Russ to be fired since I was a teenager... And I'm 31 now. I am convinced that Russ is the curse. Keeping/promoting him was a bigtime mistake every time it has happened. Any drought people should be burned at the stake. That said, absolutely no the Pegs should not sell. They should give McD and Beane 4 or more years and see how it goes. We have never been successful, and now that all the talent is gone, we are at the "low point" in they're tenure. G9tta let them follow through if we let them go this far. If we were good before Pegs I would agree with OP, but we have basically sucked since the beginning of time.
  12. Obviosly they didn't want to spend a high pick, and there are plaenty of later round qb's playing productive (or downright elite), so I just don't see merit in your premise. If NP lit it up last week you wouod not question it. It's the same reason every team drafts a qb, they don't believe TT is the answer and are trying to win on a scratch off.
  13. I wasn't particularly broken hearted when Marrone left, he has the best season record of any coach we have had in awhile. You really can't argue with results, besides yes of course Schwartz had the D showing out.
  14. Schwartz would have been great, but Marrone reportedly would have stayed if they gave him a guarantee. If that's true, then not paying Marrone and giving him assurances was their biggest mistake in my opinion.
  15. Could have gotten KB for free essentially OTC (overthecap) has a great piece on this. Turns out the formula is "super secret", but many folks have figured out some basic guidelines/tendencies. It is week 10. https://overthecap.com/the-basics-and-methodology-of-projecting-the-nfls-compensatory-draft-picks/
  16. If we aren't in the playoffs I would much rather be 0-10. It is "possible" the Bills rebound and make the playoffs, but we all know they won't.
  17. I think you go traditional at this point and let 5 play until we are eliminated, and then get 2 some more game time.
  18. Makes sense if the season is essentially over and he's the guy you really want dealing with the rookie next year. Idk if he's any better, but he was McD's first choice. A switch would not surprise me, but then again nothing really would at this point.
  19. The one to follow right now, just like Peters has been for the eagles for the better part of a decade since we traded him 8 years ago. Obviously
  20. I agree with everyth8ng in the OP, except I think the Dareus trade may end up like the Peters trade where he's elite for a decade and we got a 6th that will be cut before next season. I also realize he did not want to be here and we had no choice, but it still sucks.
  21. This complete BS... We have a swell set of uniforms as well. ?
