10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers 1st Half game threadHeavy Kevi replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Olsen: "It's just the same defense over and over, cover 2, inside leverage; and Dalton knows" It's not just Dalton. It's everybody on the planet.

Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvementHeavy Kevi replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall The Keon thing is surprising... But I think everyone is sick of seeing the back shoulder throw to Keon this year. It has been a wasted down nearly every time

Barnwell: Wrong takes article that includes BillsHeavy Kevi replied to BillsVet's topic in The Stadium Wall All fair points, and I think it's fair to say that basically never turning the ball over is not sustainable. I would also attribute a lot of it to the fact that the offensive scheme and defensive scheme have been exposed in a way that can be imitated by future opponents. Gimmicks like "everybody eats" only work when they are novel (like last year), but defenses have adjusted. The defense on the other hand seems to just be toast. So far they have made some bad QBs look amazing this year, at least situationally (from Tua, to the kids in NO and ATL). Right now it feels like the wheels are coming off, and it's a function of roster building a bit, sure (all of our best d players are very injury prone); but I would argue that the schemes on O and D are just plain outdated and have been figured out, so to speak. The deep cover 2 that McDermott has made his career on really only works with a dline that gets pressure with 4 and a very talented secondary. We used to have those things but don't now. The everybody eats offense is basically a modified WCO without the threat to take the top off the defense, which is tough to maintain. Add that to the fact that they are incredibly predictable (the team runs the ball over 70% of the time under center and throws the ball over 70% of the time from the gun), and to use a fighting term... Telegraphing your punches and allowing the defense to only defend a one thing at a time. And I won't even get started how often #4 isn't even on the field for big downs. He is also 100% correct on having competition. NE has a wily young team that is hungry. Our team doesn't look hungry anymore. They look tired and out of sorts. The Bills should probably still be favorites to win the division, but if a few more weeks don't go our way, that cannot be expected to continue.

What does starting a poll have to do with being right? I get it, you want some gotcha moment here but it just isn't Be honest... Outside of 4 minutes at the end of the ravens game, how good have they looked? I would say they look terrible and just eeked out wins against bad teams. You honestly think at the eye test this team looks like a super bowl contender this year?
-
I'm not worried about being right. But I do think he should have been fired ever since 13 second. Anything that catalyzes and starts the search for a new coach I am for it. I'm not against "waiting until the end of the year" per se, but it won't happen at the end of the year. Everyone will be like "we just won ____ games and lost a close one to KC in the playoffs, we were so close to the sb". And rinse. And repeat McDermott is excellent at deferring blame, and it will just be new coordinators. This team desperately needs a fresh start.
-
Yeah I think it's a package deal with Beane too. And I feel like the team is giving up on the coaching staff. I've never seen worse situational play calling. The coordinators are cooked and McDermott is the head of the snake. And as you mentioned Beane, outside of drafting Allen, has been really bad. So many drafts we've gotten no impact players from, and he has re-signed players we should never have paid. And that's without even complaining about letting great guys like Wyatt Teller, Harrison Phillips, or Poona Ford go and then spending draft capital to replace them. It's time for a fresh start!
-
It was criminal how little Cook was in tonight on the most important situational plays. He must have punched a baby or spit on a coach for how many times he should have been on the field for a huge play but wasn't.

A Few Thoughts about the Falcons Game - Community EditionHeavy Kevi replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall I 100% agree with pretty much everything Especially on Josh. He has been such an amazing team mate, never takes credit for anything, and never calls anyone out. It will start to get old for him, if it already hasn't. And this entire game felt like we were down 7,375 points at all times. It felt like drought-era inevitability of losing. Gimmicks like "everybody eats" only work when they are novel. The pats and falcons just showed how to shut down an offense with no play makers at WR: press and blitz. At one point, I believe it was orlovsky that said the bills "are just overmatched" at wr vs cb. That's a Vegas favored super bowl contender overmatched by a fringe team with a limited, single-read QB. The magic is gone And our 4 wins are against teams with a combined 3-21 record
-
	I think they're a package deal
-
I would be down for this if it's tomorrow. Get rid of McDermott's built in excuse this year and see if he can summon the defensive guru we hired nearly 10 years ago Turn the defense around and earn another year... If not, see ya!
-
I would argue it's pretty obvious it's a fair opinion, and has been for years. When they win, nobody is allowed to bring up how bad his coaching has been And that's why every time we lose everybody says fire him. He's not the scapegoat, he's the beneficiary of a long line of scapegoats.
-
I've been saying yes for years, so there's no real question what I think. I've started basically this same poll 3 times, but let's get a snapshot of what we think right now... It's a simple question: has the final straw broken the Buffalo's back? Go on record!

10/13/2025 Bills at Falcons - 2nd half game threadHeavy Kevi replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Brady's play calling has taken a big step back this year. Situationally it's been very bad. Why isn't Cook on the filed on 4th and 1? Why are they in the gun? Make it make sense
-
Deal Gotta get a fresh start before Josh is old

Has been time for years. When does the accountability he preaches extend to himself?

10/13/2025 Bills at Falcons - 1st half game threadHeavy Kevi replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Josh is 95% of this organization Everyone else is in that 5% or are just along for the ride. Fire McDermott

I'd be shocked if they miss the playoffs, unless Lamar misses a big chunk of the season. I fully expect them to still take that division. Out of contention for the 1 seed? Yeah I'd say that's probably true though. It's a 3 team race right now with Buffalo, KC, and LAC (though gun to my head id say KC still wins that division too)

In a perfect world I wouldn't agree with the death penalty. But the death penalty is just what this kid gave to Kirk, with no process at all. You could say "an eye for an eye just leaves the whole world blind", but it wouldn't. It would leave some people blind until everyone else didn't want to get their eyes gouged out. Deterrence is the only thing that works. My $.10 anyway (inflation)

From what I've seen on the shot, it was about 145 yards. With a 30-06 and modern optic (as it's reported he has), this shot is not a tough one. Like at all. Anyone with a little experience shooting rifles could pull that off without much trouble. 800 yards is a whole different ballgame, but with a scope- as they reported he had, I could probably put up a 4-6" group with my 30-30 at 145yds. And I'm not even that great of a shot. I will disagree on his process. He does deserve a lawyer and the whole wheels of justice. He's an American citizen and that's how we handle these things. I do think we should have a fast-lane death penalty for obvious cases though and this one seems to fit the bill. Props to his dad for making the tough call, if that is indeed what happened.

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur SandersHeavy Kevi replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall The difference here, as opposed to traditional labor unions is that there is not an alternative option for the players. If there was another big time, high paying league who could take these players, then it would really be ON. So if teams really take it seriously and "make an example" out of players who won't "submit", those players would be SOL and have to take a traditional career route or play a different sport. Even the first and second round guys need it more than the league needs them. Yes, there is scarcity in high end talent, but there is far more scarcity of jobs in this sector nationwide. So the teams will always have the power.

Holy farking shirt balls. I heard people saying Beane went in, but dang... He went IN! And I actually don't disagree with him. I've spent plenty of time in the last few years wanting WR, but in this draft I wanted DL and secondary. I really like this no bs approach. No vanilla canned answers. No gm speak. Just straight fire. And no lies detected.
