  1. Doesn't matter. They would have to take a hit to the head to trade him in the division.
  2. Do you sit up at night coming up with the most rediculous hot takes on the board? I mean, don't stop it's hilarious. "POWER" move all in caps. Good stuff. But I get it, you really love the Phins. The Bills - not so much.
  3. Sacrifice the yellow and 15yds at a time, and hit, hit, hit, hit, hit, hit him. We can hurt him. Whats a few flags between frienemies?
  4. Wow. The young heart and soul of their team. Makes no sense. Now they are in the tank and we are competing. Who'd 'a' thunk it?
  5. I'm not above that. I don't want him to die or something, just end his career. He's got the money, fame, rings, model wife that makes even more $ than him, and is a lock for the HOF. It's been a good (scandalous) run, but it's time to ride off into the sunset with a blown up knee or throwing shoulder. I'm ready for an NFL without the evidence destroyer pretty boy.
  6. Yeah that's why I put "best players" in quotes... You make some great points. We do have to get a bit lucky, but as you said only BB has succeeded with this style recently. Josh McDaniels and Chip Kelly failed spectacularly, but Chip looked good at first. There are long odds that this works for us, but if it works... it will be a big deal.
  7. McD is not going to deal with an oft-unavailable super diva. Otherwise he would have kept Sammy.
  8. Yeah I agree with this. I didn't mean to slight any of those guys (though seriously frick Dareus amd Gilly), but was really just pointing out that we "lost" a whole slew of our "best players", but the team is much better without them. Freakin awesome. I hope McD is our 10+ year answer, and early signs are encouraging.
  9. I really did enjoy that, and agree with the OP. The total is greater than the sum of it's parts. The team/family dynamic is working. No Bob woods, sammy, darby, gilmore, dareus, etc..... but doing much better as a unit.
  10. I hear that. I want to believe. I really do. A primetime game against a div opponent is going to be my litmus test this year. These are where we normally lay eggs. If we come out and get the W, it will go a long way to convincing me they will finish out the year with a ticket to the playoffs.
  11. I love the Sabres, but there are only 16 Bills games. It's not even a question for me, I'll catch the Sabres on tape delay. I love when the two teams play on the same day. The Sabres are 113-66-33 on days when the Bills also play, and 47 of 201 times both teams have won. Could not find how many Bills wins total, but I believe the win percentage is better than our overall record in that span. Around 55% percent if I remember correctly, but a quick google search yielded no results.
  12. Yeah I will be much more nearvous for this one. A win on Thursday would pretty much signal to me that it's a New Era. We have had starts like this a few times during the drought, but would lose a game just like this one Thursday. Really hoping we can pull it out, as in my opinion it would put us in real good shape for a spot in the tourney. We need to carry W's into the last 5 weeks.
  13. Do we know turnovers will dry up? No, we don't. Often times teams that are on a roll with takeaways last the whole season. Add that to the fact that many of them are from players being in the right place, which is sustainable.
  14. Definitely a candidate. May or may not get it but is in the conversation. If we make the playoffs it would be hard not to give it to him.
  15. The NFL has got to step in. He is the worst, and has been for a while now. Just fire the guy, he is a problem. Always trying to impact the outcome of the game.
  16. Probably one of those that you can only get at the stadium.
  17. So dramatic. You can subjectively say it is stupid if you want, but it's not disrespectful, racist, elitist, or whatever other adjective people would like to perscribe to it. This outrage is a symptom of manufactured victimhood.
  18. When I saw Hackuli was doimg this game I knew we would see stuff like this. Hope that was the worst of it, but his history shows it's probably not.
  19. That's where we are right now. Everyone is overly sensitive that you cannot even use an extremely common coloquialism as a metaphor. If he just called them "inmates" out of nowhere, ok maybe everbody can go bonkers, but this is a very, very common figure of speech used in all industries as a management style/slogan for keeping the employees in line. And that's what employers get to do since they are essentially buying your time. And when you are on their time, you can expect to act in a way that is appropriate to the industry/situation.
  20. Cool, so the fans and media CAN play a role in how the team plays. Sure looked a little "tanky". I'm still not sold that this is our year, but it's certainly in the cards much more than it had seemed.
  21. I would venture a guess that he weighs his opinion, but overall has little to no say in roster moves. That's how it should be: let the players play, the coaches coach, the managers manage, and the owners own. Terry does not have football smarts and he knows it. That is why he wanted Polian or Coughlin as "Czar". He hired Beane and McD becauss he believes in their plan, and will likely give them the lattitude they need to enact said plan. Early returns are promising.
  22. I believe in the system, and tue ability of Leslie and Sean to implement it, but I don't believe in our depth at DB at all.
  23. Well, of course. He played in just a few snaps and recorded 1 catch. If you extrapolate that out...
  24. Besides their programming going straight to ****, they have also engaged in the political arena, choosing a side and promoting it. As an example, just look into situations with Ditka and Jamele Hill. People don't want politics with their sports, that has been established, and firing ditka because he wanted to vote for Trump, and keeping Hill after she called him a white supremacist shows the double standard, and that only one opinion is allowed at disney. Sports outlets could learn something from Michael Jordan who refused to engage politically, famously saying "republicans buy sneakers too".
