  1. Despite his passing. Exactly as I said. If he were a good passer everything would be unicorns and rainbows, since passing is the one thing he does not do well.
  2. Racist? My god. Tyrod is not a great passer. Not good actually. That is a fact. Above posts have outlined his massively underwhelming passing numbers. The top 10 scoring offense you speak of was despite his passing, not because of it. You know just as well as everyone that the 10th ranked offense was because of his legs and Shady. Tyrod's saving grace is that he doesn't turn the ball over, and obviously thats why his qbr was high. To ascribe racism to this is rediculous. Let me use your example... Name white QBs who were bad passers but were elite physical specimens with any type of athleticism that even comes close to Tyrods explosiveness or elusiveness. There are none. Tyrod has an elite physical skillset, just not the "It factor" as a QB. You excluded Tebow, but why? Everyone said he should be a TE or LB. I am not neccesarily arguing for it, but I bet Tyrod would make more impact as a WR on a team with competent QB play.
  3. Not to take anything away from your experience, but this isn't 1984 (figuratively maybe, but I digress). Medical tech and ability are so much farther along, especially for professional athletes.
  4. What about a 3rd matchup? Hey, it could happen.
  5. Watching that video reminded me of why I don't watch q&a's. Just like politics, it's all about the reporters making their name and/or just plain badgering people to get a hot take, all while pretending it's "asking the tough questions". Tre is for real though. The fact that he had Gronk so pissed that he lost his head and attacked Tre shows he was getting the best of him. Would love to see the scoreboard do the talking, but if this one gets out of hand it's bounty time.
  6. I hear you but I don't know how well KB and Tyrods style mesh. Tyrod is a "see it now throw it" qb that cannot throw with anticipation, and does not throw it unless only his player has a chance at it. KB is not a separation receiver, he is (as you infer) a big bodied "contested catch" receiver who uses his body to shield the defender from the ball, and strong hands to battle for the it. I doubt KB is going to start getting separation, and so I doubt TT starts targeting him excessively. The slants, comebacks, and deep outs are probably our best chance.
  7. Yeah. Just recently with "Zay day". Come on now, Murph... Plus, hmmm where might "Billsy" come from? Probably the host of epic, infamous, snakebitten failures and almost total lack of real success. I was 13 the last time we were in the playoffs. Damn right I'm bitter, and negative as a result. Show me the baby and I'll pull a 180°
  8. This is the answer. Get him frustrated, he is a very emotional player. As much as I want a player to grab a basebll bat from the sidelines and go at his knees, we need to just apply steady, constant pressure, within the whistles. Never let him get away with touching the ball without getting hit. Never let him have a clean release off the line. And put a double team on him. Give BB a taste of his own medicine and take away what they do best, and put someone in position to jump his routes. Push, pull, hit, and grab all day, clearly he hates that.
  9. For real. Roll in on a gurney if we have to. I don't care if we get smoked in the wild card round 30 million to 3, we gotta end that drought, and crawl before we walk.
  10. You forgot Tyrod, as the 53rd alternate that plays after all the SB players drop out. To the topic, I think Tre could have made it too, and very well may have had we won the primetime game vs Jets...
  11. Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
  12. Yup. That game shows why, we play scared with a lead. Even if we go up by 11 points at NE, our offense comes out in the second half like there's 4 minutes left in the game. 3rd quarter, when up by just 2 scores is not the time to run, run, pass, punt. Need to be aggressive for 60 minutes, but i have never seen us do that.
  13. I agree with this 100% But obviously 2018 he is still our identity, bellcow, and mvp.
  14. For real. Shady basically is the Buffalo Bills these days. As he goes, we go.
  15. Snoop does not have anywhere near the liquid capital to even be a majority owner in a group. And he's a Steelers diehard.
  16. Bs. Santa would never root for cheaters. Can't wait till marsha retires and you guys go back to the 24 fans you had before Bellichick
  17. Quite the parlay there... But if we beat NE, and indy beats Bal... It's a cool 80% Both of those things are unlikely though.
  18. I was really wondering what the odds were. 36% is lower than I thought it would be, but good god we need to get in. Yesterday is like the 4th time this year I thought maybe they can make it, which was quickly dashed seeing subsequent games. I must admit it's nice being in meaningful games this time of year, but if we get left out on a tiebreaker that will really really suck. This team is going to give me a heart attack.
  19. Good point. I opened this thread thinking it was recommending we sign Trent Richardson, since heis the only guy I have personally heard called a "rolling ball or butcher knives" by the colts coach or owner after trading a 1st for him.
  20. All I want for Christmas is Tom crying out in pain in a lump on the turf. And early enough where we can still win.
  21. I don't know... If the game gets out of hand either way, it could still happen. I want to see Gronk get his this weekend, but a chance at the playoffs is better.
  22. Catastrophe if he can't come back. At this point, Shady is basically the whole team. The best thing we have going by a mile. And tolbert is inactive, so it would be cadet in pass pro on 3rds....
  23. I really want a win today, but have this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach telling me danger is ahead.
  24. Ok. We could use a 'feeder league" to properly evaluate FA's, and keep them in game shape. If street FA's came in ready to play, it would dramatically improve the product on the field.
  25. ....Shady runs wild and the D controls the line of scrimmage.
