I did not see that stat, but it is pretty obvious watching the games. Even though I fell Hyde, Poyer, Tre, and Kyle are all better players, Gaines is the puzzle piece we can't live without. I would like to see him re-signed and draft a corner somewhere in the 3rd-5th for when he misses games. Shareece Wright is a disaster.

Must have been hard for you to criticize the phins. You are right on the other stuff too, but I do think the ownership, fans, and players will be much more likely to give them the benefit of the doubt for longer now. Look for McD through at least 2020 regardless of results of the next 2 years.

I totally agree with DPG on this one, but I think the donating thing has run it's course this week. I think if they win this Sunday, and we get on the cause shortly after the game, we could manage to get significant donations to our players charities. Winning a playoff game is another huge hurdle, and the precedent has been set for donations.

That's a fair point. But... Don't be so sure they can't at least get a win. The playoffs are not traditionally favorable for teams that have a losing streak going in. There is a ton of energy in Buf right now, and whether they like to admit it, Jags fans are scared. Also there will be a solid contingent of Bills fans there. Our players have already said they got a lift this year seeing so much blue in Atlanta. Now, if they do lose, your point remains. They will have playoff experience with a team with no expectations. Not to mention real momemtum going into next year. If there was anybody not buying in to McD's "process", they damn sure are bought in now.

I used to think there was an at least .5% chance of being legit. My confidence is fading. There is an argument for McD in the "doing more with less" perspective. The Rams have all the pieces. They were supposed to be good. We were tanking 4 months ago supposedly.

Right. Losing Shady means losing your best receiver and your best runner.

He looked ok. Nowhere near as elusive as shady, and it looked to me in his few touches that vision is not a strong suit for him. Hopefully he can be productive whether shady plays or not. That said, he's about 47000000 times better of a RB than FB mike.
