  1. IF there is competent QB and OL play, then an NFL offense can most definitely produce with McCoy, Cadet, Clay, O'Leary, Benjamin, Jones, Kerley, and Holmes, among others, regularly catching passes. I am actually optimistic to see how Daboll and his NE* background go about utilizing the Proehl and McCloud waterbug slot types. Pick plays, anyone? (As an aside, I just imagined a 3 & 8 conversion where Allen hits one of those smaller guys with a bullet at about 6 yards deep into the route and the ball velocity drives them past the 1st down marker. I can dream.)
  2. Johnson over Flutie. Maybin over Orakpo was pretty bad. I didn't have any clue how infuriated I would later become, but I do remember being disappointed when we traded up in the 3rd round for Russell Wilson TJ Graham. I liked Wilson as a QB prospect that year. Swapping a Jim Schwartz defense for a Rex Ryan defense. Honestly my gut reaction when it happened was that I did not like the Allen pick at all because Rosen was available. I've been doing my usual self-convincing and will support the kid, but it's how I felt for sure.
  3. Bills Daily Retweeted Arizona Cardinals ✔@AZCardinals Replying to @buffalobills Fun to Josh around on the weekend, eh?
  4. Certainly cannot count that out as a possibility. Fortunately, they drafted a smaller HB in the later rounds to help do some of the things Kamara does.
  5. And for the Kamara fantasy owners, like me, there was much rejoicing.
  6. While not an obvious choice, I think the 49ers would be interesting, although I agree probably not as interesting as the Browns. Still, you have a younger QB with his first full offseason leading his team. (Unfortunately, his looks probably would entice a certain portion of the potential audience to tune in.) Seeing Shanahan as a young, innovative coach would be interesting. McKinnon taking over as lead back. Richard Sherman and Rueben Foster have to be draws, too.
  7. Yep, the article I posted above indicates that only these teams would have to accept Hard Knocks: » 49ers » Broncos » Browns » Chargers » Ravens » Redskins
  8. I think we can refuse since we do not have a 1st year head coach and we have made the playoffs in the past 2 seasons. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000901695/article/6-teams-eligible-for-mandatory-hard-knocks-star-turn My guess from the 6 teams listed in that article is that it will be either the 49ers or Browns. I know I'd be interested in watching Baker and Tyrod.
  9. At 6'7" and 245 lb - that's a big boy! And he can scoot to boot.
  10. Kuechly: 6'3", 242 lb, 4.58 forty Edmunds: 6'5", 253 lb, 4.54 forty Davis: 6'1", 230 lb, 4.65 forty Milano: 6', 223 lb, 4.67 forty Just from a measurable standpoint, Edmunds is bigger and faster than Kuechly - which is pretty insane - and Milano is a little smaller and slower than Davis. These numbers are from their draft profiles though, so probably not spot on now.
  11. I was about to bring up Hoyer, but then Fales popped into my head haha
  12. That about sums it up.
  13. Nooooo! Just our luck that he remains in the AFC East...
  14. Maybe he's aiming to get a candy deal out of this...
  15. But should we keep letting them own the teams?
  16. If McCarron plays great, let's just not bench him in favor of our back-up going into a playoff game.
  17. I sense that someone is creating a "Russia Russ" username right now.
  18. How much would we be paying Josh Allen this year if the rookie wage scale was not adopted?
  19. WGR was talking within the past couple days about how unfair the Saints organization was to their cheerleaders, too. Basically their rules put all the onus on the cheerleaders to prevent any unwanted interactions with players, so much so that if a cheerleader were out somewhere eating lunch and a player walked in, the rules dictated that it was the cheerleader's responsibility to immediately get up and leave the establishment...
  20. I can somewhat understand it given that it is a OBD-run show and there are very few established public facts.
  21. I am happy that we were able to keep our 2019 picks, but at the same time, I would have understood giving them up considering how much cap space we have to fill out the roster next offseason.
  22. The Broncos may have had trades in place with both the Bills and Cardinals, with the Bills trade probably including better return for the Broncos. No harm in having a back-up trade in place.
