Haha owning it, regretting it, and just hoping for some really competitive division bouts between the Seahawks and Jags this year...
I'm not saying never trade in the division... but I think the Bears will regret this one.
Edit: They’re not in the same division. I swear I watch football.
Agreed. Actually I was not that high on Allen and was scared of him just being a measurables guy. Much more optimistic after seeing him during his rookie year. Draft day though I had Darnold rated higher based on level of competition and football IQ. Regardless, Mayfield was far and away my QB1.
I would hope most of any OBD being furious was because they never had a shot at Mayfield. The gap between him is much larger than that between Darnold and Allen (and that’s not saying either is clearly ahead of the other).
Wow did not know that connection and I had already wanted that to happen. MB gets insane separation from what I've seen and seems more the exception to players his size. Hoping his injury makes him available in the 2nd for us.
I too think Campbell will be gone. And that’s ok. I’m hoping it means Marquise Brown, who had an injury and couldn’t participate at the Combine, is there for the taking.
I would not prioritize him, but the signing would bring major flexibility to the defense. If I had to choose though, I put my preference in building both sides of the ball from the inside out.
Oh wow did not know that - thank you for the edification. I just figure they are gonna add more pure blocking TE at some point and he seemed the best fit. Otherwise, maybe someone like Sample the TE from Washington.
