  2. Doubt Nelson will be available. If there is some way we trade up and get a QB or stay put and one falls to us - a scenario in which we retain #22 - then McGlinchey would seem to provide good value there. Would certainly be a top notch RT and hedge our bets with Dawkins at LT.
  3. 100%. I was there, front row, and it was a terrible experience. They look a bit sober though. Edit: And mine's funnier.
  4. Maybe less so than it had been, but yes. The Benjamin trade happened. The GM Hurney has been with the organization for a while, and I would imagine there is overall familiarity between OBD and the Panthers front office.
  5. Certainly still cashing in on Bills fans
  6. I'm sure some smokescreens are put up, but I get the sense that NFL GM circles are very small, so while a GM might be able to pull one over on another GM, if it is really shady the way they do it, then that might be the end of general willingness to deal with that person.
  7. I think people see him as this year's Kamara, so he'll be taken in the 2nd based off of how valuable Kamara was last year.
  8. I'm just parroting what I've heard, but I think the issue is more than Lawson, that the interior linemen were not either keeping their point of attack, or even better, collapsing the middle towards the QB's face. Or the whole QB. But ideally his face.
  9. Guys, Hughes was supposed to collapse the sides and the middle of the pocket.
  10. "super impressive" =/= "almost ZERO production"
  11. McCarron: Wish I had a big guy like Glenn over there in Cincy protecting my blindside. Taylor: Yeah, it's nice. Hey man, glad you avoided the Browns with that trade fiasco. How awful would that have been? Maybe you can come back me up here next year? McCarron: I dunno, I'm pretty confident I'll be a starter. Taylor: No matter where you go, it's a competition. It's not like you're going to go to a new team and be named the starter in March.
  12. He's boom or bust, I'll give you that. I just think he's more likely to bust. I feel like some people think that because Wentz came from a small school relatively out of nowhere and had early success, so too will Allen. I'm not buying it. Out of all the top QBs, he scares me the most. QB target Josh Allen to ESPN: 'Man, I love Bills Mafia' http://buffalonews.com/2018/03/23/qb-target-josh-allen-man-i-love-bills-mafia/
  13. Allen does love Bills Mafia. Just too bad he's so scary of a QB prospect.
  14. Ito Smith, HB, Southern Miss Scales, LB, Indiana Needham, CB, UTEP
  15. Justin Ernest set the bench press record at the Combine in 1999 with 51 reps of of 225 pounds, so I would have to say he had two of the strongest arms. He didn't play a down though, so maybe 2011's Stephen's Paea, who put up 49 reps?
  16. OK, I hear you on the definition. Why is Benjamin not that guy?
  17. What we're able to do at WR2, I think, really depends on whether or not we're trading up and giving away some picks. What is your definition of WR1 and why does Benjamin not meet it?
  18. I do not believe so.
  19. I personally like Mayfield best. Even if you assume Rosen if by far the most talented, the concussions and shoulder issues have to scream buyer beware at least a little bit. Can't play QB if you get knocked off the field.
