  1. For me it’s Allen’s eagerness to Ad-lib & scramble instead of sometimes taking the easy dump off pass that Brady has so effectively done since 2001. I’m wondering if PFF has an accuracy chart on all throws where Allen stays in the pocket and on throws when he is forced or chooses to leave the pocket. To me much of his value is outside the pocket throwing on the run or after he resets his feet on the perimeter. If he takes some easy gimmes his accuracy will only go up.
  2. Not a cop out. I believe Allen’s leadership, competitiveness and intangibles are way beyond EJ’s. But all those things mean nothing unless he improves in year 2. I don’t believe they’ll bring in a QB in the draft or FA. It will be interesting to see if Allen makes an actual statistical improvement in year 2. There are arguments that can be made to support improvement, regression, or a plateau. Can we all agree he must improve his completion percentage? Accuracy aside people need to start catching greater than 50% of his pass attempts.
  3. At this point I want everyone to come out healthy and play well, just not well enough to win. You don’t care about the preseason do you?
  4. EJ’s first season is about equal statistically to Allen’s. The question is what happens in year 2?
  5. Me neither unless Allen is able to make a huge year 2 leap or our OL does what NE’s did to us this past Sunday.
  6. His legs are starting to go. Your body starts to slow, nerves, reaction time, reflexes. The hits accumulate. I suppose he can aim to throw backwards instead of the usual dink and dunk.
  7. I think McCoy will be back in 2019 but in a 3rd down back receiving role. We do need an all purpose bruiser in the mold of Leveon Bell. In addition our OL has been terrible. We need an All-Pro type at G & RT and things will improve.
  8. Everything stems on Allen. They have no hedge outside of Matt Barkley,
  9. I’m tired of excuses like this. Baker Mayfield & Sam Darnold have at times looked the part of a franchise QB. Lamar Jackson is the best athletic QB. We have at best the #4 QB in the draft & there is easily a 50/50 chance Allen totally busts in 2019. How much better can a 50% passer get in year 2 assuming we bring in a rookie WR & TE? I don’t want to sound the alarm, but this regime likely has 16 to 32 games until a new one is brought in to attempt another ‘rebuild’. We play the NFC East & AFC North next year. That’s a tough climb. Road games at Dallas, Cleveland, & Pittsburgh. What’s the rosiest early predictions on 2019? 7-9?
  10. Also Gronkowski. He’s only 29 but looks like a slumbering slow tight end. He almost resembles an OLineman Tackle eligible going out for routes. His name makes him a decent decoy but he looks like he’s finished.
  11. Preston will never come back. He’s not good enough & doesn’t make impact plays.
  12. KB dropped a contested pass on a slant in the end zone yesterday. It went between his hands and hit his shoulder pads. Any way you slice it KB has regressed into a subpar WR. He’s just not getting it done.
  13. I prefer a loss to Miami.
  14. Our guys can’t tackle. Period.
  15. At this point Allen is a sub .50 passer with limited ability to read defense & make accurate throw.
  16. Zay Jones probably is our #3 or #4 next year if we bring in a legit #1.
  17. We should lose next week but in all likelihood we win. I watched Aaron Donald today and believe we need someone that dominant after watching us get manhandled upfront today.
  18. To me Edmunds looks like he is lounging forward and has limited power from his feet & legs. Too many arm tackles & he must get stronger. Allen is just so damn raw.
  19. I’m not in the FO but history has proven we never get playmakers in their prime. Our best bet is to target OLinemen & DLinemen that can improve the results of games like today.
  20. Worse thing I saw today was the wide open drops coupled with Allen’s inability to read defenses.
  21. McBeane is hindered by two things; a lack of willingness of free agents to play in “Siberia” and an offense that is so lacking in talent it will hinder playmakers from signing. The weather isn’t conducive to offensive prowess & having an inaccurate QB further hinders willingness to come to B’lo. My thinking is they build the lines by getting the best talent money can buy & draft a TE & WR to further bolster the weapons for Allen.
  22. But the AFC East is so easy that all you need to do is rush for 275 yards per game & its 6-0 in the East, and find a way to win 4 of 10 to clinch the AFCE. It appears Darnold is legit. Maybe the Jets challenge NE in 2019, but certainly by 2020 it’s no longer the Pats division under Brady.
  23. This whole post put a ***** smile on my face. F the Pats, their fans, and our whole team. Merry Christmas to my fellow loser Bills fans!
  24. Shady is not good anymore. The number don’t lie.
  25. For the first time in his career Brady looks worse than he did the previous season. Their offense won’t do much against a legit defense & offense that can score. Sadly I still think they’ll win their “home” playoff game and have a chance to beat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. They also matchup well with New Orleans meaning Brady is in position to pull a 2015 Peyton Manning & win a SB with minimal impact.
