  1. I’m sure McD can sleep well tonight knowing he has your blessing to continue for at least another season as the Bills head coach. 🙄 Anyone who’s entertained the notion of firing McDermott is a complete idiot in my opinion. The team has won 14 of 18 games in what was expected to be a ‘transition year’ with the exodus of several key players. It would probably have been 15 of 18 if they’d played their best team against the pats. In the process, they handed defeats to the top seeded teams each conference, and also both teams from the last Super Bowl. But yeah, let’s start looking for McDs replacement if they lose. When I hear the ‘fire McDermott’ chants, I’m convinced they’re coming from the same idiots who went ballistic when the Bills chose Josh Allen rather than Josh Rosen.
  2. Torrence. You rarely hear his name- and that’s a good thing.
  3. Para Español, marque nueve, y oprima el dos.
  4. With streaming and numerous viewing options, why would anyone be distressed over a network’s fixed schedule? I watch what I want when I want. If I choose to watch the Bills ‘perfect game’ vs New England, I pull it up on NfL+ without needing the blessing of the NFL Network.
  5. Nov 15, 1981, The Bills were 4 point favorites over the St Louis Cardinals. Needing some extra Christmas money, my buddy and myself each put a c-note on the Bills, thinking it was close to 'a sure thing'. I wasn't able to watch the game as I was working retail that day, and had to rely on customers for updates. The Bills got pounded 24-0. $110 lost with the vig. That's probably about $350+ in 2024 dollars. First and last time I bet with a bookie and never more than a few bucks with anyone else.
  6. There has been much analysis of the play, including computer models that show the pass was neither backward nor forward. From the point where Wycheck's hand was positioned above his right shoulder at the time of release, to where Dyson caught the ball, it was pretty much a straight line across the field. On TV, it looked like a forward pass. But, the angles can be deceptive. If the Bills had won, would Wade have been forced by Ralph to continue with Rob Johnson? I seriously doubt Johnson could have led the team to a Superbowl win. In some ways, it's a good thing the Bills didn't get there only to have an 0-5 Superbowl record hanging over their heads through a 17 year drought. As painful as it was at the time, I've conceded that it was probably the correct call. The real issue is that the Bills' coverage teams blew it on that kickoff.
  7. I’m thoroughly unimpressed with Coleman. If high-pointing jump balls is his sole contribution to the offense, he’s nothing more than a role player. He’s not particularly quick, doesn’t get separation, and so far, doesn’t win contested-throw battles. Rarely catches anything other than a clean unobstructed ball with no defender making a play. Josh still needs a reliable receiver that can separate in the designed route. Too much of Josh running around while steering receivers with hand motions.
  8. FWIW, my wife commented that she thinks he has a nice a s s
  9. I'd love to see the Bills finish the season with a team record for the number of wins. Even with a 14-win season, no doubt there will be chants from the ignorant masses of "fire McDermott" if they fail to make the super bowl. I'd really like to see them finish the regular season on a high note, heading into the playoffs with a four game win streak and 11-1 record over the past 12 games. I want to see lots of W's when I look back at the 2024 schedule results. Also, it would be nice to sweep the division.
  10. Right?! I’m glad somebody gets it. Hot dogs too. Mustard.
  11. Semi-related…. is it just me, or does Burrow give anyone else the impression of being an egomaniacal D-bag? Can’t put my finger on exactly why, but I really dislike him and glad we have Josh.
  12. Not unless they either control the clock and score on most drives, and/or figure out how to stop the opponent’s run game. If teams like the Ravens continue to plow through the Bills’ porous D-line, it will be an uphill fight. I hate to admit it, but until the Bills look something like top 5 on the defensive side of the ball, their Super Bowl odds are slim. They’ve had occasionally good defensive showings. The question is, can they field a consistently good D for four consecutive games starting in the wild card round? Doubtful.
  13. What hasn't been discussed enough is the other part of the trade that moved the Bills up the draft board to get an additional 3rd round pick that was used to pick DT Dwayne Carter. He's shown decent potential in is limited time as a rookie. Should he bloom into an impact DT (a position in which the Bills very much need help) and Coleman matures into a consistent threat in the O, the trade will be another feather in the cap for Beane.
  14. Great future potential to ‘Hate the Drake’
  15. Zubaz apparel was a trend from what, the early 90’s? Bills’ Super Bowl era I believe. Is the Buffalo fan base the only one that never dumped the fashion and for whom the sweats and shirts have been sold continuously for over 30 years? Very Buffalo.
  16. He has zero awareness of how a play is developing and can’t keep his hands off wideouts he’s assigned to. I’ve stated my theory here previously…I don’t think he has the mental capacity to play within the structure of a sophisticated NFL defense where all 11 need to communicate and be on the same page for it to work. Is he just a dummy with good athletic skills? Maybe. I’m not sure how else anyone can explain his lack of production after nearly 3 full seasons. Whatever the issue is, it’s clear he’s only getting a game day jersey by default due to injuries of players ahead of him. I don’t expect him to be a Bill in 2025.
  17. He's young and sensitive. Nothing wrong with that. Or maybe he's just a fem.
  18. Me and my friends bought a beer ball in for the 1980 opener against the Dolphins. No problem. Beer balls were basically a mini-keg.
  19. It doesn’t sound good. Sad holidays for some family.
  20. Same here. In a way, I feel like I’m not getting very good value with the Sunday ticket since 8 or 9 of the first 14 games were televised locally, but it sure is convenient for those games not shown here.
  21. With the change to a 4:30 start, most of the nation is getting Bills-Pats on local TV. But for some reason, here in Atlanta the Miami-49er's game is being shown. Maybe the local affiliate figures they've shown enough of the Bills. ? But they're going to show 2 teams that have been virtually eliminated from the post season? Maybe they expect it will be a more competitive and entertaining game for the casual fan.
  22. When Bass lined up for the short FG, I immediately said to my wife, 'he's going to miss. Look how his body facing'. Did anyone else have a similar take on it or have that sense, even before the kick? There was just something awkward about the way he approached the ball from that hash. I'm convinced he has a mechanical issue that can be corrected. Maybe some time with Jordan Palmer's high tech analytics stuff would help?
