  1. Moulds put up very solid numbers here with less than mediocre QB play. IMO, he would've been a HOF if had a good, not great, QB.
  2. THIS!! A few years ago Fred Jackson was on his way to winning league MVP (IMHO and according to most NFL pundits) until...................yup, he got hurt halfway through the season. It's way too premature to make predictions. However, if everything falls our way we "should' make the playoffs and at least host 1 game. Sadly, we can't be the 1st or 2nd seed unless we win the division.
  3. Eric Wood was positively mystified by that choice as well. The Titans also failed to go for it on other 4th down plays knowing time was not their friend. Their coaching staff contributed heavily to that loss.
  4. I would've left. A bar is a social gathering where you're supposed to enjoy yourself.
  5. Totally agree! He is a weapon right now that is being underused.
  6. LOL nobody! That's why the deal fell through. If anything, other teams are waiting for him to be released if it happens and get him for alot less!
  7. I disagree: 1. QB 2. Running game 3. DL (pass rush but most importantly run stops)
  8. I heard the same thing at the conclusion of the game but I wasn't sure if it was on CBS or NFL Network.
  9. This is why I believe we win more than 8 games this year AND make the playoffs! Well or course, the running game must contribute and take the pressure off Allen as was evident today. Any QB will make mistakes if he's doing nothing but chucking the ball an entire half.
  10. I totally agree! Serve the suspension first then try to trade him before granting an outright release.
  11. I have my eye on a Thurman Thomas Super Bowl 25 jersey. Very expensive but I've been wanting this for years.
  12. I live in the southwest. NFL Game Pass is worth every penny to me!
  13. Why wasn't the nature or the cause of death disclosed? Too personal??
  14. Here's a little dose of reality: Luck did NOT play a snap in that game! He alone makes them a playoff contender. Having said that I liked what the DL did--they brought consistent pressure which should've resulted in 2 more INT's. The running game needs to improve because I didn't see that holes that should've been there. Shady will only return to form if they are opening gaps for him to produce 1000 yards rushing and 8 TD's like he had been before that mess last year.
  15. Sad but true. Personally, even if we went 8-0, 7-1 the first half of the season, I don't think even that is a slam dunk but the probability is extremely high my Bills make the playoffs. it would be an utter embarrassment if we did not.
  16. I hope we make the playoffs again this year. This is all predicated on how well the offense performs. I really think the D will bounce back and help win games like it did two years ago.
  17. I agree with just about everything here except the Elway comment--he deserves his spot. Warner and Wilson ahead of Jim is not remotely funny. If these pundits want to hold Kelly accountable for all those SB losses why don't they blame the aforementioned QB's for losing their second SB's when they should've won them easily?
  18. Don't kid yourselves. 2017 was 1999 redux. The offense had very little to do with making the playoffs. It was all D. We won games on the road we shouldn't have and won all but two games in the division. None of that happened last year. It's garbage to keep hearing we had one of the very best defenses last year. I laugh at the idiots all over the web who keep spouting that crap by rationalizing this slant with skewed metrics. Good defenses do NOT surrender 4th quarter leads nor do they continually give up 100 yards rushing to mediocre running backs when we're supposed to have a stout D-line. Star was a joke and didn't help the team. I really believed we would make the playoffs easily with these defensive "improvements" because after all wasn't Allen a huge upgrade over Tyrod? I may be of the minority opinion here that our D actually regressed because we had a lack of pressure up front to create those turnovers from 2017. We all knew that the offense would struggle again but who saw our defense take a nosedive? I pray Edmunds continues to improve a Milano will be a stud shortly and have PB considerations. White is already an All-Pro in my eyes. Our safety tandem will only return to form. with a much improved O-line, Shady will tear it up once again. And Josh will put up huge numbers with a better receiving corps. Any talk of Foster not making the team is laughable. If we have a beast running game, I believe we will be playing in January.
  19. This is what i don't understand about athletes and other professionals (i.e., musicians, actors, etc)--they know their futures are VERY bright but decide to take a crap on it all! Do they really hate fame and fortune that much? It's like winning the lottery and burning the ticket instead of cashing it in. *cue Alanis Morissette*
  20. I totally disagree here! He was our #1 for quite a few years and he was sorely underrated IMHO. I think of him like I do McGee-they made not have made PB's for their corner play but they were studs in the secondary and could be trusted to be left on an island.
  21. ^THIS Both sides. C and OG should be the priority along with a formidable pass rusher (DE or OLB, it doesn't matter to me).
  22. That is so true! I'll keep him in my prayers from now on. Wow, this is a sad story nobody could've scripted or want to.
  23. You don't know the half of it. There have been many former Bills players who have left in free agency, trade, or what not and the vitriol spewed is shocking!. Ok so you don't like the player before he left, we get that but to HATE him is beyond words. He committed no crime and played his best but he's not longer here. But there are those who have been involved in horrific "situations" and remain much beloved. Wow!
