Jets are expected to pursue Davante Adams this offseason
Captain_Quint replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
They better get the best backup QB on the market, because Rodgers is toast. And he costs like $50million next year?? Good luck with that... Couldn't happen to a better fan base! -

Is a future move to Safety possible for Tre White??

I wouldn't say their last play, but their last good play is behind them both. -

McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
Captain_Quint replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh and Beane are the only two left who have enough power to affect the team. So he is on to blaming Josh now, and soon, you'll hear about how they need to get the right people at draft time. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
Captain_Quint replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
It wouldn't surprise me to see Josh on another team later in his career, but it won't happen anytime soon. It's probably more common to have at least one more stop than to stay with one team his whole career. But that will be like 8-10 years from now. -
Modern Warfare 3. I believe we're witnessing video gamers communicating with each other.

Another Buffalo Sports Fan's Gut Punch.....or is it?
Captain_Quint replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
I gave up on this season a couple weeks ago, and don't think it's a bad thing to use this season to shake things up. We still have another 5 years of Josh so it isn't unreasonable to put another run together. -

Should Dorsey come down to the sidelines?
Captain_Quint replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe after the temper tantrums in the box, McD doesn't want him to lose it on the sidelines. -

Because we're all still 14 yr old boys at heart. -
Good stuff! Re: the oline. Doesn't it seem that the bigger the game, the worse the oline does? It isn't always the best dlines that give us problems, but at critical times in the game and in critical games, they come up short time and time again.

Gabe open all day- Dorsey playing Madden
Captain_Quint replied to NakedSquid's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this has developed and grown over the last 20 games going back to last season. -
Agree on that, for sure. Sean will get a team that is either in need of a rebuild, or one that is already torn down to the studs with a new GM. And honestly, he will probably do a pretty good job if it's a scenario like that and he can find another QB.

These are good points, but the Bills need to take the sentiment out of the decision. We're going on 60+ years of being losers and not winning a Super Bowl. I think you need to throw everything we can at it for the next 5 years until the formula is right. McD just doesn't seem to have the right stuff going forward. It wouldn't surprise me if his next stint goes similar to this one, and he's still chasing a championship down the road as a DC again.
-
McD's success should be used a springboard for both parties. We have Allen to dangle in front of the best available talent and turn an OC into a head coach. McD has the rejuvenated franchise and city of Buffalo to hang his hat on. It shouldn't be that hard to shift gears at this point, except that we will need a new HC, DC, and OC all in one offseason. But we have Allen, Diggs, and a strong roster of talent.

I think some well timed 'Booos' as we go three and out next Monday night should get the point across.

I think the line continues to move to the Bengals and we see our first big loss. Not saying we get blown out, but it seems the two teams are moving in opposite directions right now (similar to when we met last year). Maybe the 10 days off gave the Bills a little extra, but to me this is one of those games coming up.
