  1. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_1rGsDSFNh/?igsh=MTcwaWx1endnbXFwZw== Earning his contract against Phillips. Good things happen when Josh can roll right and keep his eyes downfield.
  2. I sat amongst alot of the Dolphin season ticket holders and they seem to think it was a repeat of last week's gameplan: short swing passes, throws to the flat, rushing attempts, check downs. Nobody knows why McDaniels has been calling it that way so far, but they are less than thrilled. Very few downfield attempts and the ones that they have tried have looked completely different than last year where Tyreek owned the middle range routes. It's possible he's trying to hide a deficiency, either in Tua or in Hill. In my opinion, Hill looked like a guy who knew he was a decoy last night. Unfinished routes, alot of jogging, very little communication with his teammates.
  3. This is how I see him since his injury recovery. A top 10 RT in the league. Factor in Josh's ability to roll right and find his guy, it's an important investment.
  4. It's the same play that Mecole Hardman scored his first TD on 5 years ago against the Bengals. If anything, that's on the Ravens for not preparing for it and seeing it coming. I'm pretty sure that's a common Andy Reid play.
  5. It isn't surprising, based on our roster the past 4 years. It's been absolutely stacked with depth and veteran leadership. We havent lost a regular season game by more than 6 points in that time (or something like that). Our window was wide open. We all knew that 2024 was when Josh's contract kicked in, so big changes were coming. Then the Diggs situation with a new contract and being traded. Like it or not, this is a reset year. It doesn't mean we can't overachieve and win a super bowl. Other teams have done more with less, but the hill is higher this year. The silver lining is that next year looks good (from a cap perspective and draft capital).
  6. Death-Ray Davis
  7. I think Diggs will do well in Houston. But since he won't be the focal point of the offense due to their outstanding young talent, I see alot of 5 for 45yd games in his future. He's not a YAC guy who creates with the ball in his hands, so he needs targets to get his numbers. Will there be enough to keep him happy?
  8. Only if the game was on the line.
  9. I see alot of teams stacking the box against us and needing to be able to run against a full box to be successful. We have zero receiving threats at this point unless you want to count Shakir in the slot (which is a borderline 'threat'). I think Kincaid can do some damage, but he isn't a speed guy. The safeties and CBs will be pressing coverage and playing the run. Josh will need to check down and put together 10-15 play drives with nominal threats downfield. I think it will take Brady being able to gameplan like he's a top 5 OC in the league and keeping opponents on their heels for 18 weeks plus playoffs. If Brady and Josh can do that, they'll be in the talks for MVP and coach of the year.
  10. He still has to face McD 1vs1 in a superslam cage match before the final cuts to 53.
  11. AJ Klein just kicked his family out of the RV and is heading up to Buffalo as we speak.
  12. Brady is the only one I can think of who I would put up there. A ton of Gronk, Suh, Cox, Edelman, etc players who were pieces of dog****. But Brady has honestly been the only person worthy of our hate. And it wasn't really in how he acted, it was just the constant kick in the balls that he gave us for 20yrs. And there wasn't one individual person on the 70s Dolphins teams that did that to us, or I'd put them up, too. Truly dark times when you go a decade or two losing constantly to one team. On the flipside, is Josh Allen the most hated player in Dolphins history or just approaching that throne? By the time he's done here, I think he will be.
  13. I personally think that Rodgers is shot. And that's if he doesn't get injured. I fully expect a terrible season from him once he starts taking hits and having to run for his life. I don't think that he has much time left.
  14. I think Diggs has a big game against us. Why wouldn't he? He has motivation, knows the defense, and it's week 5 so he'll still be playing hard. If this was a week 15 game, I say he lays his typical late season '3 catches for 27' stat line. McD knows Diggs too, so it will be some cat and mouse. But he isn't even their #1 so Sean won't be bracketing him or showing any special coverage just because he used to play here.
  15. September 2nd, the beef will be settled. Chestnut vs Kobayashi on Netflix. I can't see how Chestnut could lose this, but anything is possible. Call me old fashioned, but eating just the hotdogs and no buns doesn't count and honestly, seems pretty phallic. So I'm not as impressed with Kobayashi as Chestnut.

  17. Drums over flats.....my man...
  18. I have a friend on the janitorial staff at the stadium. He said he saw a dry erase board this week with the schedule on it in the locker room. I'll be leaking clues, but for privacy reasons I can't directly answer any questions or it could cost him his job. The home opener will be played in September, as well as the away opener.
  19. I think that one thing we can't count on is that everyone will stay 100% healthy again like last year. To have all 5 guys play every game is an anomaly that probably doesn't happen often. I think this year we will get to see some of the 2nd and 3rd level guys when the inevitable injuries happen. The rooks from last year had a whole year to adapt and learn, so hopefully they're ready to go.
  20. Yeah, seems to be a niche player, where his wheelhouse will be contested catches and some of the slower developing post routes. Ultimately, like the rest of our pass catchers, it will fall on Brady and Josh to scheme and execute. I love that we have a guy who has 85 catches in 87 attempts, plus Kincaid from last year. That's a blatant attempt to get better pass catchers (where Davis, Knox and others have struggled in recent years).
  21. That doesn't mean we can't sharpen the pitchforks ahead of time. Don't tell me how to spend my next 1000 days!
  22. A 40yr old QB and 2 33yr old tackles. What could go wrong over 17-21 games??
  23. Wish Gabe the best. Good QB, returning home to FL, nice size contract. 👍
