The only thing I care about at this point is improving as the season goes on, and we hit our stride at the middle/end of the year. The AFC will not have a bunch of 12 and 13 win teams this year. I foresee alot of 10-11 win teams fighting for a playoff spot in the last quarter of the season.

If it weren't a division game, I'd say it's kind of a throw away game since it's week one. The interviews since the end of last year have been about getting hot at the end of the year and using the beginning of the year as a tune up. With the Bills schedule, I don't know if they can afford to do it this year. The last 8 games are a gauntlet, as it looks right now. Last year they came out smoking hot and fizzled at the end.

I think they scared the hell out of him to not do anything to get touched or hurt. The scramble he had, he literally stopped and turned around instead of just running forward. I think the game plan from the coach was "you can play, but don't get dirty."

The main problem on that run was that there was no edge set. The RB went right down the line and was allowed to turn up the field. I didn't see who the end was, but he's got to push that run to the inside. But Poyer still should have cleaned that up.
