I feel like Rodgers in NY will start off with a TON of steam, and by season end it will be fizzled out. He will have some good games, but nothing like Brady with the Bucs scenario.

Hodgins or Gabe? Who will have the better career? (Poll)
Captain_Quint replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Davis' footwork seems to have regressed this year along the sidelines. There were a few times that he could have had a sideline catch but almost inexplicably didn't toe tap and just stepped out of bounds. If he regains that sideline trust with Josh next year, he'll continue his acent to being one of the best #2 or #3 in the game. Hodgins needs to prove himself still. Show me you can stay healthy and beat the other teams gameplan and then we can talk about he and Gabe. -
Would you guys trade one of Elam/Benford/Jackson?

Beane also said in his conference call after the season that they would evaluate Benford at safety, and they knew when they drafted him that was an option. -

I love how the announcer says 'no signal yet....'. I think every player for both teams ended up in the end zone on this one. -
I just made my call to Directv to end our long term relationship

Dtv has been calling me all week to offer stuff. Can't wait until after the superbowl so I can just cancel them altogether for the last time. I've had alot of cable providers but they have been the worst by far. I'd rather pay more for xfinity or get all the streaming options. -
A theory about Allen and (some) red zone turnovers
Captain_Quint replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the fans and the team thought they had something in Gabe that we all know isn't true now. I don't know if I blame them for trying to make him the #2 after the 4td playoff game or not. But it backfired this year for sure. Not really a knock against Gabe either, more the team and our expectations as fans. -

Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
Captain_Quint replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
No chance it's a 4 for $44 million contract. $15 per year or higher is what he will go for. And it wouldn't surprise me if it's a 5yr deal since he's so young (did you know he was young??) -
Just a suggestion to help out the current affairs.

Nobody tells Tipster how to post!! -
One of the biggest differences when you watch the regular season and post season the last few years is the liberal CB play, where they are allowed to make alot more contact. Except for our games, where we still play off the WRs for some reason. Frazier needs to take advantage of this next year and coach the secondary to be geared towards the trend. It's low hanging fruit when you're allowed to push and grab the whole way down the field. But if you don't do it, it's a huge disadvantage.

It’s obvious what ails the Bills, they’re softer than custard.

Bringing back Shaq and Jordan Phillips was a solid move that brought some 'edge' to the defense, but they are role players, and more of a 'feel good story'. I want to see our oline stepping on necks, And our safeties back to laying the wood next year -

Saffold said guys were "exhausted" this week and "out of gas"
Captain_Quint replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd call him a sled instead. All the defender did was repeatedly push him straight back. No moves, just power from a smaller player moving Dawkins. I kept waiting for him to snap out of it, but he never did. -

Two ships passing in the night. We peaked early in the year and then flattened the curve midyear and never were able to get the MOJO back. Cincy started slow and has hit their stride in the 2nd half of the year, which traditionally is a good recipe for the playoffs. -
The Ringer: Josh Allen Needs to Chill

We live and die by the sword (allen). And I'm ok with that. Same way the Packers did it with Favre. -
I hope we see the unstoppable, productive Ed Oliver instead of the other side of him, where he seems to just hold his spot and not get after the QB. I'm sure injuries and scheme play a part in that too
