There was no "win now" mentality in the front office. That could be a huge mistake with the schedule next year. You never know what can happen from season to season in the NFL, so I don't understand the lack of urgency to take advantage of the weakest schedule in years.

You think flipping the ball to the ref is any different? Just FYI, if you're trying to advance the ball you don't give it to the ref. It's the same thing.

The Bills benefitted from a similar call earlier in the season after an Int. I think it was White, just ran around and threw the ball after the interception and they ruled that he gave himself up.

Dawkins gets beat by speed rushers pretty often. I thought he was a spot to look for an upgrade preseason. I'm not sure he really has more to develop. Ford is just flat out slow. Slow off the snap and in moving.

There have been many games like this since he's been here. It doesn't matter who the OC is, even the defense goes into a soft zone when we have the lead. His management of timeouts, substitutions, game day roster, challenges, and his overall 1980s philosophy are just not working. This was the easiest schedule they have had in as long as I can remember and the best shot at the division in years. Now was the time to win and anything can happen next year.

When a DB prevents you from using 2 hands it's not a drop, it should be pass interference.

In the end zone the DB had Duke's arm locked. That's not really a drop.

Next year I'd like to see it at 60 or higher with that schedule. Franchise QB to me would be consistent regardless of the opponent. Probably a new offense though if rumors are to be believed.

Almost every big hole they ran through was with star pushed off to the side. He also missed the tackle on the TD run. Whatever gap filler he is supposed to be is apparently the gap on the bench. It's why I hate the rotation so much. They can just not substitute and keep exploiting the same weak player over and over.

Honestly I think most of it was Ford has no future at RT. Also, Star has no future in Buffalo. Both of them were awful on their respective lines.

I agree, it didn't seem like he wanted to do a lot of things. He also used to give big cushions instead of being the press guy he was in college. It probably helps that he is on a team that doesn't get called for DPI now.

Yea I'd say Tennessee is still a quality win. They are a wide open drop away from beating us. Dallas still with no wins over .500 teams. I'm still happy they played well in prime time though.

Somehow I knew that you of all people would show up for this, because the picture fits. If you don't think that this board will swing after a bad game, you are nuts. That's how it is here, no shades of grey. Clearly anybody pointing out that Allen isn't a god is a "hater" to many on this board, and the constant calls outs depending on results from both sides is annoying at best. You basically overlooked how I said he was changing my mind to find something to argue about. Let me repeat it so we can do this again, his recent level of play has impressed me and has brought the level of consistency that I was seeking. However, anybody who thinks that everyone on this board is just going to stay optimistic after a loss is delusional.

I for one have never thought he was the answer, but the consistent level of play lately is changing my mind. All I've wanted was consistency and his disappearance against good to very good defenses wasn't really what I would call promising. We the "haters" haven't really disappeared, but the large volume of "Josh Allen haters" posts have probably just drowned them out. Just wait for a game where he slips up, the pendulum will swing. For the record, I think that Oliver will be a stud and have since before the draft, I think Edmunds is going to be a force at either MLB or OLB for a long time, and I think that Knox has suspect hands that will eventually be his downfall. Oh, and I think that Dawkins might be the most overrated Bill and they need two tackles to really solidify that line.

In regards to Hausch, did the NFL change their ball construction like the MLB? Missed kicks seem to be an issue everywhere this year. Also, he hasn't been comfortable with a holder since Schmidt was cut, so that could have something to do with it. Great game all around and I like that they continued being a well rounded team. My optimism really jumped with this one.

I don't think Wentz is that bad. That team has been super beat up 2 years in a row and they have a high drop rate. This is the same league that keeps trying to recreate the Pats. Has there ever been a successful head coach from that coaching tree? The NFL is horrid at talent scouting from prospects to coaches.

I'll be worried untill they do it every week. I'd still like to see more points, but it was a pretty well balanced performance. I'm not going to count on it until they prove that it's not just a hot streak. It's happened way too often around here. Good game though, tough defense to play against. A bit like the Bills with a much worse offense.
