  1. He does look like a guy who's trying to figure out what he's going to do next so he can move on from what he's doing. He's lost that passion for football that led to the MVP season. Clearly from what he was wearing at the post game presser he's thinking about things other than football.
  2. I think you've been in Atlanta too long and seen too much lack of composure in Falcons games ?
  3. Do Patriots or Steelers fans act like this when come back and win a game like this in the 4th qtr. Do they go to the stats book to see that only 0.005% of teams come back after 4 turnovers or do they go we're down 2 score with 18 to go. We can do this. We keep hearing how special this locker room is, how united they are. I'm ready to believe in them and trust the process. I'm old enough to remember the way the 4 SB team was built and this team reminds me of that. Relax and enjoy the ride.
  4. I do not understand why so threads are so negative. We need chunk plays smh. As many posters have already pointed out there were at least 6 chunk plays. We also saw Allen complete almost 65% of his passes. We also saw Allen do something that you usually only see the Patriots, Steelers, Cowboys doing, and that is come back and win a game that the other team should not have lost. I am a firm believer that teams need to learn how to win. This team is learning how to win and starting to believe. People need to sit back and trust the process.
  5. Honestly I don't think Andy Reid wants another circus like his TO experience in Philly. KC is too good to risk all that drama.
  6. I always liked Gore but now that he is on our team and I hear him speak more i understand how he does what he does. The guy shows up and works, he helps out, he causes no drama, he has no tolerance for BS. Love that the organization has Gore teaching Singletary how to be a pro just like they have Kyle working with Oliver.
  7. There's two threads with the exact same title. Your original post is in the other one
  8. Good cos I was worried that I might fail a poll ?
  9. A division win is worth more than a non division win. The same can be said about a division loss.
  10. Totally agree. It feels odd to support a team that had a surplus of talent. I could get used to this.
  11. A lot of that was Josh making it happen with his legs So you've decided on Josh already.
  12. While it is indeed part of the business of football we should remember that men's dreams and hopes end on cut day. It is what it is but the OP is merely reminding us that simple fact.
  13. Because no professional football player plays fantasy football
  14. Yes, newbies opening new threads on "how many wins this season" and thinking it's a fresh take because there's a poll
  15. I was ready to pile on about the lack of value having yet another thread on "how many wins" until you pointed out that there's now a poll. A poll, a poll changes everything. Feel free to rehash everything already hashed out many times as long as you have a poll.
  16. I picked up TJ Hock as well purely based on how he looked against us. I know right he's about 10lbs smaller than Gronk but he reminded me a lot of him
  17. What you're saying isn't wrong. The hyperbolic reaction to the bad play is what I was referring to. What you've said above is exactly what this for, good logical discussion. The only thing I'd disagree with you on is whether he had really bad games. I think he had really bad plays and some really good plays. When the coaches are throw a 20 year old into the deep end so he can grow evaluating the player play by play and how he bounces back from mistakes is more appropriate.
  18. He isn't being angry. I think all @eballis saying that he's tired of all the posters who are overly negative to young players, that prematurely call people busts and want players benched or coaches fired. It would be nice if people could admit they were wrong and maybe look for the positives in a rookie and give the kid time to grow from playing.
  19. Exactly, the best to ever do it ?
  20. He means the "Would Ya?" comment that you deleted after you were called out on it.
  21. Not to dimiss your comments but with that approach to life a lot of opportunities may just pass you by.
