  1. I hate to be a downer but I'm not that thirsty for Bills love, especially when we still haven't proven anything. This is starting to remind me of Rex winning the offseason and a little of the Browns debacle from last year when they brought in OBJ.
  2. I'll only fully believe it is over when they get their first intentional grounding called against them.
  3. Uggghh I'm trying to forget that happened. Thankfully you just have to remember that bad deals do not reflect the real value of things. Kinda like back in 1975 some dude started selling rocks in a box as a pet for like $3.75. Dud made more than $15 million. Still a better deal than Rob Johnson ?
  4. I'm sure those conversations have happened. If he performs this year then they'll pay him his worth.
  5. Is this the same Peter King who didn't vote Troy Polamalu into the Hall of Fame? Who understands his logic other than it is generally flawed.
  6. Saw the lists and Gilmore"s name, So I guess we're talking Gilmore on the Patriots who gets away with holding.
  7. Only time will tell. Personally today I'm ok with the deal as we need this type of talent on the team. The win now window is open and I'd prefer not waiting on a the development of a WR we'd draft this year.
  8. No way this happens but it would be funny if he did 30 seconds after Tom signs elsewhere. That would be the ultimate FU to Kraft.
  9. Are we talking about the same young QB that we reached and took midway in the first round to the shock and bemusement of the football world. The one that most people had ranked as a clear second day pick. The one whose teammates called him out for a lack of leadership. That EJ Manuel?
  10. Until he's signed with another team I'm not celebrating. He's a Patriot and I don't believe anything a Patriot says. When there's a signature on a contract then I'll believe it.
  11. And with the first pick of the draft the Cincinnati Bengals select......
  12. The guy wasn't healthy the last 2 years. Can't count on a guy if your not sure he's going to be there. Just like Sammy and his brittle feet
  13. Kroft was like Sammy, injured more often than not but can produce on the field. I'd be OK with cutting him loose
  14. Who knows, logically the booth is the smart business move, get out while you are still remembered as a good player. But if he still feels he has something to prove logic won't win this time. I think he'll be a Bill and Kroft will be hoping the other two teams Olsen was talking to are hiring.
  15. I'm sure he has a team in mind. Can't blame him for using the other two to get the the best deal possible.
  16. The booth will be there in a couple of years, if he still wants to play then he needs to play now while he still can.
  17. If we were to land Olsen then Kroft is gone for sure and maybe Lee. We'd have a solid mentor for the younger guys similar to Gore and Singletary.
  18. I think that they should get a deal done on the sooner side but for different reasons. If he's under contract it's less likely that he leaves. As for getting him on the cheap I'm not sure that I agree. If DB salaries take a big jump then I'm sure his agent will call that out and ask for a new deal like so many other players have in the past.
  19. Were you calling an Uber for Greg Roan too?
  20. Can you blame them. Their models really do suck ?
  21. Personally I think it's a good thing that guys are getting opportunities with other teams. Further reinforces that WNY is not a dead end place to go.
  22. The guy is good but lets be honest here. He plays by a different rule set that every other QB.
