  1. He is having a better year than he had in 2021. His QBR is 71 on the season. QBR is a pretty big deal historically when it comes to MVP’s. It is why Purdy was the favorite going into this game ahead of Lamar. That said, Lamar just might win it this year with the worst QBR we have seen since Cam’s 15-1 and 45 TD season. Big difference is Lamar has nowhere near 45 TD’s, he might not even end up with 30 on the year. And the Ravens have 3 losses compare to just 1 loss on the year for that 2015 Panthers team.
  2. disagree. Herbert has been viewed as top 5. Not in the Mahomes, Allen and Burrow class but at the top of the very next tier. Somewhere around 4-5. perhaps that will change now only after this most recent season but he’s been a top 5 QB for the most part until just recently.
  3. Allen is on pace to be the all time TD leader if I am not mistaken?
  4. Just so happy we found a way to win this one, unlike the Broncos game.
  5. To me he is just kind of clumsy. One of Allen’s greatest strengths athletically is his agility. Allen is very agile for such a large man. Is why he is a much better runner than Cam Newton ever was. And Cam was pretty good. Allen is just even better on the ground.
  6. This game was somewhat similar to the Broncos game. Offense was not great but the turnovers were killer and really not the OC’s fault. Luckily we were going up against a raw QB without his best WR’s so the outcome was different. Even the scores of the two games were identical. We just happened to be the ones with 24 this time instead of 22.
  7. that d-line can make an appearance anytime now in the 4th quarter. That would be helpful.
  8. Simple answer, because Lawrence is just another guy. He’s not yet considered an elite QB. Allen gets heat because not only is he an elite top 3 QB in this league for going on 4 years now, but he is tangibly the best QB in the game when he is on. Even better than Mahomes. Him being on often means not turning the ball over. I think he gets heat for the turnovers because people know what his high standard of excellence is.
  9. I’m not buying that would have led them with the time needed when they couldn’t get off the field with 3 chances on the next possession.
  10. If you don’t value a team winning their division down the stretch after being left for dead and being lead by a QB that leads the NFL in total TD’s then that is on you. wins over KC (Mahomes), Cowboys (Dak) and Miami (Tua) and winning the division when about 5 weeks ago everyone thought the Bills would miss the playoffs. That is quite the story for a QB who leads the league in TD’s and has the third highest QBR in the league (one of only 3 QB’s in the league with a QBR over 70). Steelers suck! Hahahaha
  11. What did you want the Cowboys to do on offense to prevent that scenario? The way it played out there is nothing they could have done. Cowboys had not one but 2 or 3 chances to stop them on 3rd down and failed.
  12. But then they are out a timeout. I don’t see the need to burn a timeout before the 2:00 warning when it only saves you 5 or 10 seconds. Better to burn a timeout when it will save you close to 40 seconds.
  13. Wonder if some of that has to do with Diggs not being on the field for nearly half the plays. There was one drive in the second half in particular where Diggs was not on the field for 1st or 2nd down to start the drive. not sure I agree with having Diggs on the sideline so much. They seem to be playing Sheffield over him in a lot of these sets without Diggs .
  14. they didn’t take one before the 2:00 minute warning though .
  15. It’s third down and they have three time outs and 2:00 left. They have an eternity left if they can just stop them here on 3rd down.
  16. for which team? Dallas still has three timeouts. Miami might get there’s too fast.
  17. but I thought the Chargers had a poor pass defense? Why not exploit it? Dallas had one of the worst rush defenses and we exploited that weakness. Also seems like Kincaid has disappeared since Brady took over.
  18. I feel like McDermott hasn’t shown much confidence in him a couple times this year.
  19. Josh Allen, DE would be awesome. But that dude might sign the richest contract in nfl history for a defensive player if a team with cap space really wants him. How have the Jags not already signed him long term?
  20. I still feel like Gabe has run his course in this offense.
  21. Yeah, so did Allen’s, and by a lot more actually.
  22. Yep. And we witnessed that first hand last night. Barely escaping with a W against a team looking for a rebound. Most delusional fan base of all our AFC East foes. And the funny thing is Josh Allen routinely has career games against them. They are in total self denial.
  23. You are doing something right when you lose the turn over battle 3-0 and still find a way to win. And the two fumbles gave the Chargers automatic FG’s with where they occurred. Not sure about the INT.
  24. Diggs was wide open. Had his man beat badly. So I don’t mind the attempt. Execution has to be better though .What I have noticed is that he is missing his receivers short a lot this year whereas in years past he has often over thrown them.
