Murray is my sneaky MVP candidate / top 5 QB. When healthy I think he can prove to be a top 5 QB. His problem though is staying healthy for an entire season so we will see. Mayfield could certainly win MVP with his play and that Bucs team. It's odd, it feels like Allen might hands down go on to be the greatest QB ever to not win an MVP. People will look back in 20 years and be like, how in the heck did this guy never win an MVP? He had an MVP season nearly every year. Agree that a great QB is not necessarily going to produce better numbers. The great system basically dictates the numbers any QB will put up in the system. But I do have a hard time believing Purdy would be seen as anything more than a top 15 QB on a team like the Browns or Raiders. Not bad teams but not special teams either.

Honestly, yes, those games are all great. Not sure what the OP is seeing. A lot of good narratives in all of them.

Given his injury history as a Carolina Panther, I was genuinely shocked at how injury free he was to start his 49er career.

I just don't think Rodgers lasts the entire season. Or if he does it is because he is going to get the ball out quick and his YPA is going to be around 6.0 If that is the case, I don't see the Jets offense being good enough. And if he goes down with an injury then I definitely see the door open for the Pats to finish second.

I have a feeling the division ends up: 1. Bills 2. Pats 3. Jets 4. Dolphins

Was the Allen throw to Ty Johnson on 3rd and 12 to set up first and goal at the one, one of Allen's top 5 throws of his career? That was an unbelievable across the body throw. Agreed. The secondary is playing absolutely lights out and the D-line is playing as well as advertised. If these two units can continue to play at a high level it will cover up our weakness at LB with the injuries.

was thinking Groot probably knocks the ball down at minimum. Miller better step up. -

Allen is going to do what he wants eventually. -
for some reason these always look like uniforms a prison inmate team would wear to me. they are not the ugliest but they are bizarre. for ugliest, honestly our 2008 era uniforms has to be up there.

“Jets are in complete disarray” - B/R Article
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Jets biggest problem is that I just can’t see Rodgers lasting the entire regular season. if he does somehow last I think it will be because he modifies his game to be a 6.0 ypa QB. And if that is the case, how good will the Jets offense really be this year? -

One picture that says everything about Josh Allen

damn same as me. 40 and my first football memories ever were wide right putting me at six years old. he is every bit as good as my Mahomes. Different playing styles, but both have secondary reaction skills, second to none. he just has so many of them over the years. -

Bad Ref call thread ( for season)
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall
as long as you don’t physically impede the receivers ability to catch the ball there’s nothing wrong with having your back to the ball. But yes, it can unnecessarily open aplayer up to the possibility of a flag. Again, if contact is not there or even minimal and does not impede the receiver, then there is no foul. it was a good, no call in my opinion. turning at the last second could cause the defender to make significant contact with receiver and/or provide a window for the receiver to see the ball arriving. -
Bad Ref call thread ( for season)
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meh, sure I am bias but I see why a flag was not thrown. Contact has to be meaningful to draw a flag. Sure Ingram has his back to the ball but at any point does he make meaningful contact before the ball arrives that throws the receiver off his route or inhibits his ability to catch the ball? I'd say no. Once the ball arrives that is when the contact occurs which is perfectly legal. -
Is this Allen’s best poster shot yet?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think eventually people could come around to Allen turn over fatigue. Allen will always have high turnovers but he’s also leading the league in Td’s nearly every year and the Bills are getting 2-3 seeds consistently. -

I think eventually people (media) might realize the INT’s don’t matter when it comes to Allen. I mean if he has 20 INt’s and 46 TDs and the Bills are winning who cares? are the Bills a better team if he has only 30 TDs and 10 turnovers? Probably not. You need to score to win games. -

I’m not convinced Bills will be a top two seed with this defense. But I do think Allen will do his usual 40+ TD’s. If he can get to 48 or even 50 maybe he can actually win it even if the Bills are 3-7 seed. -
Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Post Game Thread
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Disagree. My only concern with Murray is his health. I think he is easily top 10 in the league when he is healthy. I’d take him over someone like Hurts who nearly won a Super Bowl. agreed. Hamlin did have a really good open field tackle that prevented a potential big gain on the ground. -
Dorsey's first game as Cleveland OC

Meanwhile G men are imploding. Wouldn’t hate seeing Daboll back but only under the circumstances that Brady and the Bills O is so good this year that Joe leaves for a head coaching job after this season.
