  1. for some reason these always look like uniforms a prison inmate team would wear to me. they are not the ugliest but they are bizarre. for ugliest, honestly our 2008 era uniforms has to be up there.
  2. The Jets biggest problem is that I just can’t see Rodgers lasting the entire regular season. if he does somehow last I think it will be because he modifies his game to be a 6.0 ypa QB. And if that is the case, how good will the Jets offense really be this year?
  3. for like 20 years and counting too.
  4. damn same as me. 40 and my first football memories ever were wide right putting me at six years old. he is every bit as good as my Mahomes. Different playing styles, but both have secondary reaction skills, second to none. he just has so many of them over the years.
  5. Always loved Rex! Promise.
  6. that would be a nice rule change. I’m simply pointing out that the officials on the field do not have that luxury. so not having an instant replay is in fact an excuse for those officials on the field for bang bang plays like this.
  7. what exactly does instant replay have to do with it? Unless there’s a rule change I’m not aware of this Isn’t a reviewable play. how is instant replay supposed to help the officials on the field when they can’t use it?
  8. as long as you don’t physically impede the receivers ability to catch the ball there’s nothing wrong with having your back to the ball. But yes, it can unnecessarily open aplayer up to the possibility of a flag. Again, if contact is not there or even minimal and does not impede the receiver, then there is no foul. it was a good, no call in my opinion. turning at the last second could cause the defender to make significant contact with receiver and/or provide a window for the receiver to see the ball arriving.
  9. Meh, sure I am bias but I see why a flag was not thrown. Contact has to be meaningful to draw a flag. Sure Ingram has his back to the ball but at any point does he make meaningful contact before the ball arrives that throws the receiver off his route or inhibits his ability to catch the ball? I'd say no. Once the ball arrives that is when the contact occurs which is perfectly legal.
  10. I think eventually people could come around to Allen turn over fatigue. Allen will always have high turnovers but he’s also leading the league in Td’s nearly every year and the Bills are getting 2-3 seeds consistently.
  11. I think eventually people (media) might realize the INT’s don’t matter when it comes to Allen. I mean if he has 20 INt’s and 46 TDs and the Bills are winning who cares? are the Bills a better team if he has only 30 TDs and 10 turnovers? Probably not. You need to score to win games.
  12. I’m not convinced Bills will be a top two seed with this defense. But I do think Allen will do his usual 40+ TD’s. If he can get to 48 or even 50 maybe he can actually win it even if the Bills are 3-7 seed.
  13. Disagree. My only concern with Murray is his health. I think he is easily top 10 in the league when he is healthy. I’d take him over someone like Hurts who nearly won a Super Bowl. agreed. Hamlin did have a really good open field tackle that prevented a potential big gain on the ground.
  14. Meanwhile G men are imploding. Wouldn’t hate seeing Daboll back but only under the circumstances that Brady and the Bills O is so good this year that Joe leaves for a head coaching job after this season.
  15. Agee 100% these are special times. He’s Mahomes without the hardware. And they call Mahomes the GOAT in the making. A long way to go but in his current trajectory Allen could finish his career as a top 5 QB all time without any rings. That’s both how good he is and how snake bitten the Bills have been.
  16. Last year that definitely did not seem the case with the defense. but yeah, thinking more along the line of the offense. But go ahead an shoot holes in that argument too if you wish. Bottom line is did this feel like a special game from Allen? No. Yet there he is at the end of the day with 4 TDs and 1 turnover. Pretty special day for most QB's.
  17. I love the ho-hum reference. Seems like one out of every three games Allen has a game exactly like today's game. 4 TD's 1 turnover. Carrying the Bills to victory despite the defense/special teams best efforts to spoil.
  18. Not when the nose of the ball touches the white. Midfield, sure. But not where he did it today. Tell me you don't know the rules without telling me you don't know the rules.
  19. LOL. box score says 2.8 ypa vs. 2.7 ypr. Ouch. he can't do anything at all.
  20. The national media is dumb enough to not even realize Allen fumbled actually. Allen could have 18 fumbles lost and 8 INT's on the season and he would likely win the MVP because hardly any would mention the fumbles.
  21. Yeah, that has to be a typo.
  22. Holy cow. What is the record for lowest YPA? Hard to imagine being under 3 ypa with nearly 30 attempts and counting. So much for the Bo Nix hype. Example 1,354 that preseason tells us nothing.
  23. Baker has about a 40 pound disadvantage on Allen. Allen knew he would go low.
  24. Even if it is not it's his left wrist. Don't know that it would stop him from doing his usual Super Man things. Just shoot it up.
  25. Maybe so. And that was for a TD. Only one similar was against Wagner vs the Rams but that wasn't a hurdle.
