  1. Neither of these teams appear to have a defense this year. Ravens have the worst pass defense in the league and that’s not getting any better after this week. Bills just got to play much better on offense if they see the Ravens in the postseason. This Bengals defense is also the worst D they have had in the Burrow era it seems.
  2. Just draft a rookie QB if you are the Browns. Keep Watson on the bench and continue to pay him but play the rookie. Rookie QB’s are cheap these days. By the time it is time to pay the rookie QB (if the rookie pans out) Watson deal will be off the books.
  3. it looks dumb. Like they just put a sticker on the helmet. Which I guess is what they did.
  4. I tend to agree, but the Bengals defense does seem really bad this year. worse than usual. The key to their playoff success has been their defense, stepping up in the postseason more so than their offense stepping up. I’m not sure they’ll get their defense to step up like usual.
  5. I agree I think the seven seed is going to be 9-8 this year. Maybe even more he six seed too. Bengals would very much still be alive. imagine Bills having to go through Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs in that order to get to Super Bowl.
  6. I know your numbers don’t go back as far but Brees and the Saints are the outlier. For 5 consecutive years from 2012 to 2016, Brees posted a 65+ QBR but the Saints had a losing record of 39-40 with him playing QB. Brees never won an MVP despite some monster seasons. He’s a good comp for Allen in that regard. I believe Brees (3) and Allen (4) are the only two QB’s to have 3+ consecutive seasons with 40+ TD’s.
  7. Their defense shows up in the postseason. But I am not sure that will continue to be the case. Their defense seems to be really bad now. I am not sure they will be able to flip the switch on the that side of ball come postseason.
  8. The running game seems better than any of the four previous seasons that is for sure. O-line I think is also at least as good as any of the previous years as well. Those are things that typically translate well in the postseason so I am hopeful.
  9. That might be true for players who tore their biceps in-season. Milano had surgery on his torn bicep about 3 weeks before the season started. Plus, we have the 18 week schedule now. Add in postseason games and it seems likely Milano comes back. I’m hoping he can play the final three regular season games. With his first game back being Dec 22 home against the Pats.
  10. 100% right. As long as wind isn’t a factor I think you go for anything 65 yards or less every time over a Hail Mary. Looked like Bass would have hit from 70 today.
  11. A lot of years that 7 seed is a pretty bad wild card team. Steelers were bad last year. Pats bad in 2021. But then some years you get teams getting hot like the Packers last year upsetting the Cowboys. I always worry too how a team comes out playing after a bye. Chiefs have a ton of experience with it. Bills don't have any.
  12. Unless we go 0-5 Bills are still winning the division. Just be healthy for the playoffs. That is all I care about. We traded for Cooper already. He can fill in while Coleman is out. Cooper, Kincaid, Shakir and our running backs who can all be pass game threats should be more than enough for an elite QB. If we can ever figure out a way to get Samuel involved that would be great. What a bust of a free agent signing so far.
  13. Suspended?!? That is a bit of an overreaction. That play along with the 62 yard fg from Bass basically ended the game. That is harsh punishment enough plus the fine he will get. Honestly, Fins probably win it with a FG if Poyer comes in clean.
  14. Shin is down which equals one knee. Problem is, it is still a first at the point the shin is down I think.
  15. I could live with the one of Dawkins. At least a case could maybe be made that Dawkins pulled defended to c ground. But the Torrance one looked like a clean play. And at that point of the game, after just taking a holding penalty, it needs to be an alligator sized hold not a little lizard.
  16. First time I noticed that! Has he been doing that all year?
  17. They need to give teams one or two penalty review challenges per half
  18. Oh, the OP's 2 for 1 flew right over my head there.
  19. Baltimore statistically has one of the worst defenses in the league. Giving up the leagues 4th highest passer rating to opposing QB's at 103.5, 7th most points per game and 8th most yards per game and the most passing yards per game given up at 291. Mahomes should be licking his chops. They do have the leagues #1 rush defense. That said, I don't want to see the Ravens in the playoffs. Especially on the road. Their offense might be our defenses kryptonite. I'd much prefer to take my chances with the Chiefs for the umpteenth time.
  20. Yep, I was there. My brother got married at the tailgate before the game. It’s one of two games I have been to in Buffalo.
  21. More important than the one seed IMO is not facing Baltimore in the divisional round. As things currently stand, unless there is an upset by 6 or 7, the five seeded Ravens (beating Houston in Wild Card round) would face KC in the divisional. That would be a dream scenario with Bills playing Steelers in Divisional. we should be rooting hard for the Steelers here on out. Texans have a brutal schedule so I see them finishing as the four seeded division winner. Baltimore and Steelers will probably come down to the wire for the division.
  22. Cake Walk! Feels like Bills should roll but that probably means we are down by 3 at the half. a few years ago I think we were in a 3-3 ball game against the Dolphins at the half and then pulled away in the second half and wound up winning by two scores.
  23. I don't get the thinking here. Where else were the Bills going to spend their money? They weren't going to spend it on EJ Manuel and they weren't going to sign or trade for an elite QB (they're basically never available anyway if they are elite). I don't see anything wrong with spending it on one of the premier positions in the league. Look at the Steelers, they've been relevant these last few seasons almost entirely because of an elite edge player.
  24. That pass to Keon in the Titans game, while it had a lot of separation, it was not a deep ball in the true definition of one. Allen is fine with those passes like the one you describe. Deep ball to me are those passes that are lofted 40+ air yards down the field. Allen tends to throw those without enough loft. Getting a speedy receiver wouldn't necessarily fix his weakness in that area.
