Toney saved us from another Billsy moment…

to determine Offside or not we would need to see a ball on the field. At least provide a screenshot with the ball not having been snapped yet.- 186 replies

Addressing the "Josh Allen is TO machine" narrative
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
have you followed Allen for his entire career? He leads the league in turnovers and TD’s. the poster I am arguing with thinks he turns the ball over almost as much as he scores? Yep. He thinks 96 turnovers is close to 210 TD’s. -
Bills @ Chiefs Game Thread - 1st half
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs would have scored even if we punted. We weren’t shutting them out in the first half. he’ll learn??? bahahaha! Come on we have seen this for six years! but relax!!! He still has a better than 2:1 TD to turnover ratio. It is who he is. -

Bills 0 points off turnovers. chiefs? They butt rape our defense for a TD on the lone turnover. It is acceptable for the defense to hold to a FG. It’s not like the Chiefs got the ball inside the 30 yard line. then again I am arguing with a person that thinks 96 is close to 210 -
Greenberg - A Jets Fan - Pushing Back Against The Allen Hate
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, he's not winning MVP unless he turns it up several notches. His QBR on the season is 58. That would be abysmal for an MVP winner. The lowest in recent memory was Cam at 61 but the Panthers were 15-1 and Cam had a 45 TD season. Lamar is on pace for 26 TD's currently. Every other MVP winner of the las 10 years has pretty much had a QBR of 70 or above. Including Lamar's 83 in 2019. He is the current NFL ironman. Which is funny given his style of play. That's also why he has the most TD's as well. Brady had almost no relationship with Bill and they were together for 20 years. But at least they could point to the rings together. -

And 13th in QBR. Lamar's really not having a good season at all. On pace for 26 total TD's on the season. 26!? LOL -

🤦♂️ These guys are so clueless. What's his TD:TO ratio in his last three games against the Chiefs? Something like 10:1? -
Total QBR as a predictor of NFL MVP's The last 10 NFL MVP's since a non QB last won the award in 2012 (Adridan Peterson). Text in bold indicates they led the league in QBR that year. 2013- Peyton Manning 79.0 2014- Aaron Rodgers 77.8 2015 - Cam Newton 61.4 2016 - Matt Ryan 79.6 2017 - Tom Brady 70.6 2018 - Patrick Mahomes 80.3 2019 - Lamar Jackson 83.0 2020 - Aaron Rodgers 79.8 2021 - Aaron Rodgers 69.1 2022 - Patrick Mahomes 79.0 Current top 3 QBR leaders this season: Brock Purdy - 75.6 Dak Prescott - 75.4 Josh Allen - 72.4 Newton by far has the lowest QBR of recent MVP winners. A 15-1 record and a monster 45 TD season carried him the MVP. My prediction is Dak wins the MVP. Allen wins the MVP if the Bills win out. Purdy is the question mark. Feels like many are trying to find reasons to not give the award to him. If Dak cools off and the Cowboys drop 2 of 3 to Eagles, Bills and Dolphins and the Bills don't win out, I can see the award coming down to Purdy vs. Tyreek.

100% he can. Dak is having a heckuva, season and playing really well of late. He’d be the player I would give MVP to if the season ended today. But the bills and Allen finishing strong would include a victory over the Cowboys and Dak. Allen already has very good overall numbers. Third in the league in QBR, first in total touchdowns and tied for second and passing touchdowns. With very good numbers already it’s not like he would have to go berserk statistically to end the season. The key ingredient is winning out. -
Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. that’s exactly how the drought was broken. We lost the head to head to the Chargers that year but it was a 3+ team tie breaker scenario. -
Kneel Down Game: Final Nail in McD’s Coach Coffin

History has told us it’s at least less than 13 seconds. Although didn’t the Chiefs get a field goal against us the next year before the half in 12 seconds? -
AFC has no clear cut GREAT Team.
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are undefeated with Deebo though. I believe Deebo was injured in the first half of the Cleveland game (box score shows 1 target and 2 rush attempts all in the first half) and then missed the next two losses to Cincy and Minnesota. There absolutely isn't a top team this year in the AFC. It should be the Dolphins but they have turned into the Bills, minus being able to occasionally beat the good teams. At least the Bills did that from 2020 to 2022. Dolphins are either beating average or bad teams by 4 TD's or losing to the playoff caliber teams. Their schedule set up nicely for them this year though. That is until their last three games. We will see how they do down the stretch. This all just makes the head scratching losses to the Jets, Patriots and Broncos all the more painful. Just pull out one of those games and the Bills are right there. Win two and we likely still take the division. -
I think Dak ends up winning it. He's playing exceptionally well right now. If he can keep it up against some of the quality teams they have down the stretch he will win. Feels like sports media is trying to find reasons not to have to give it to Purdy. That is working against Purdy right now. It also feels like the 49ers are all about Deebo and to a lesser extent McCaffery. Purdy and the 49ers loss all three games Deebo missed. Their only losses on the year. That should be a big determining factor against Purdy for MVP.

Nyheim Hines breaks silence over off-season injury
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does anyone else read this part as Hines was hoping to show the injury was somehow caused by a normal football routine workout/conditioning and not the jet ski accident? That would have saved Hines millions right if the injury was shown to be football related and not from a recreational activity. -
NFL Coaching Tenure Before Winning 1st Super Bowl
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not only that but over the last 20 years, if I am not mistaken, exactly three coaches have won multiple super bowls period. Belicheck, Reid and Couphlin. I keep thinking that maybe the Eagles are onto something with how fast they moved off of Pederson. -
Not sure how the same question is asked and two different answers result. Even on this second one Allen is like 5th overall after we adjust for games played (minimum 45 to include Dak) throwing out the QB's who have played far less games. And still of the four ahead of Allen; Dak (45), Rodgers (50) and Tua (47) still have a fairly significantly smaller sample size than both Mahomes and Allen at 60 and 61 games respectively.
