  1. How to stay on topic. You pretty much clarified the reason for my question and then put every donation under the umbrella of the original guy. Well done
  2. I think it is fair to point out that under the circumstances the Chiefs would have been holding like crazy on a kickoff return and the crew that was refereeing throws the least amount of flags in the league. While I do not think this makes a squib or a pooch wrong, there is considerably more risk because of the refs. I don't know what the stats are on how many flags they throw on kickoffs but I bet our SP coach does. No idea whether that was a factor but it is a variable in the decision. As has been said a billion times already, 13, 10, 7 whatever seconds, just play normal defense and we win.
  3. If it were $17 it might be a nice gesture, but $13 feels like shot at us doesn't it?
  4. I was in favor of the touchback. Possibly influenced permanently by the Music City Massacre I was afraid of the big return. Also, if the Chiefs had returned the kick they would have been holding all over the place and this specific referee crew calls the least amount of penalties in the NFL. The fear of the big return was on my mind. Free releases and soft coverage lost the game though IMO
  5. I also like the increased use of McKenzie on jet sweeps for this same reason
  6. "When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us" would be more appropriate considering the weather.
  7. Finally the Titans at home!
  8. I think it says a lot about Mckenzie who was the first guy over to the rookie (according to what I viewed on the coverage) and right in his ear after the fumble. He is a leader and a competitor, give Lil' Dirty his job back.
  9. Tre and Mitch on there as well
  10. Didn't Bonds win it one year too? Seems to fit
  11. Probably works better the other way around. You would think the long snapper would have tried a bunch of kicks over time
  12. Hyde as well. Simple ....... they overpursued
  13. Didn't he also fumble away the game?
  14. Yes it is categorized as an open stadium and treated as such
  15. Check his year 40 numbers. They are as good as Bonds or better. Testing is a joke and everyone knows it.
  16. and aging. That is why he is 10% older than any successful quarterback ever. Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, David Ortiz........Tom Brady?
  17. Fan is short for Fanatic. It doesn't have to make sense.
  18. Maybe it kicked in a contract piece that Josh and the Bills wanted him to obtain based on his work and dedication so far. Just me speculating though
  19. Ill add one more. As the Steelers were moving in to kick their final field goal. they were at our 40. I think it was 3rd and 5, Claypool lines up in the slot on the left of the OL and Taron Johnson is over him. They run crossers and Hyde mistakenly follows Tre De and his guy from deep left of the D across to his right where the other safety was. Triple coverage on Tre De's guy while Taron is left one on one with their stud WR and it is an easy first down. Bad play by a good player but that one really hurt
  20. I think your title should say "more than Sanders" and leave Diggs out of it IMO. I do think he should be WR 2 and I was upset when we are in the red zone in the second half and he didn't see one snap before the field goal. I did not see him go off with an injury as suggested
  21. I just don't know what I am mounting? Am I climbing on the back of a bison or a horse alongside the charging herd? No idea but he is certainly excited about mounting something 😄
  22. The hardest thing to do as a QB is to break into the league and stay. I call it the QB curve. Brady never had to do it like the others because they were stealing signs and letting him know what coverages and where the blitzers were coming from. Brady didn't even have a 2:1 Td to INT ration until his 5th year. He developed into a great QB but to be called the best, no, you have to pay your dues and he cheated that. He is the most accomplished when all is said and done. How he did it, he has to look in the mirror about and all the cash in the world doesn't change that. Maybe I'm old but there should be integrity in sports IMO.
  23. Why don't we just tell new QBs for the first seven years of their career what the defensive coverages are and where the blitz is coming from. Then the refs won't have to throw flags because the QBs will know exactly where to throw it? It is simple, right Tom?
  24. Ah 30 years ago for him Emotional damage can take years to surface and greatly effect a person's entire life.
  25. How about trading Kumerow to the Packers for a draft pick and adding Brown back. It would get me some more games out of the Smoke jersey I bought last year and only wore for 6 games 😆
