  1. This was the game for me too. At Lodos in downtown Denver, the Bills Backers bar, I was slamming my hand on old banister so hard after the collapse that I am sure I broke my thumb. I never had it X rayed and it went away months and months later but I am pretty sure I did some physical damage. Nothing long term thankfully.
  2. I think it is 50/50 he makes it. 50% he makes the team. 50% he gets traded. 0% he gets cut.
  3. I think you are correct but look what GM we are talking about. So slow he tied for the team lead in sacks. Hughes is way faster but usually falls into the close but no cigar territory. Even though Hughes does get pressure.
  4. Most effective Red Zone WR in 2017. 7 TDs in 9 targets. and still only 25 years old..
  5. Good point but you have to like that we could have multiple options to cover him with the way Belicheat works the matchups.
  6. The common understanding of Analytics is that it is using any and all data. Measuring and grabbing any data point to support an argument and trying to make sense of it is a poor approach. McD has said in interviews that certain data is more important that other data. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black this is what I want to hear from a process oriented coach. McD should be measuring HIS process, and identifying his key performance indicators (key measures). Then executing to drive those key numbers. Based on my limited information on what McD is doing I think the Bills are going about it the correct way. I just would like him to say "our process". It is not as if there are no other coaching processes. Everything is a process even if it is not documented - even Rex and the clowns before him had a processes, just not a good ones.
  7. In a pre draft interview McD said they were doing character and fit evals before play evaluation. That seems crazy out of order.
  8. There is not proof of a bidding war. That is just Buffalo Bills mentality of filling in blanks to make things look ideal for GM/Coach/Team. There is no guarantee those #2s would pan out so I agree with the trade up. Arizona wanting Allen is speculation only. As for mastered the draft I would not go there. Maybe he did well in the 1st round (if you like Allen) but a backup NT in round 3 was a bad pick and Beane failed to see the pick of Clemson's #1 WR the pick before us when we took their #3 WR as well as the fact that the Lions picked a highly rated OT we needed one pick before us in the 5th round were big time errors.
  9. Are you wearing your Cutler or Jeff George jersey today?
  10. You picked no QB, I know by design, and then selected the fastest deep threat WR in the draft? How do you plan to get him the ball? Is Shady going to run it to him because McCarron isn't getting it there. and no O line help?
  11. I had this thought this morning as well looking at the trade value chart. We owe the Rams a punch in the nose just for this being a possibility. I am not sure Rosen would be there guy and I hope he is not ours unless he falls all the way to 12. How do you think Belichek would do with a rookie QB who wants every one of his questions answered before he does his job? Also the Pats have holes at QB and CB to fill. Even though the traditional draft chart says they can get to #9 with their first round picks that won't hold up this year. We for one have too much ammo.
  12. Metro sexual morning football is hardly the place to go for Bills or any other football info. It makes the old Mike and Mike show look hardcore.
  13. Peter Schrager???? Have we now officially hit rock bottom for sources and opinions?
  14. I am a Lauletta fan but why is he up there as an option for the FIRSTpick?
  15. So we have already crowned Beane a genius before he selects one player? I think the tune will change when he hits on only 40% of his picks (like all GMs) and we realize he traded away talent for chance. The best thing Beane has going for him is that he has a great coach. it is foolish to think that there won't be growing pains with a rookie GM
  16. If you are a non believer in Lauletta review the combine throwing sessions. As far as accuracy and are strength I had him only behind Mayfield. Also he is going go day two so not a late round prospect. Do the research, he is a better prospect than Josh Allen In my perfect world we get Mayfield between picks 6 to 12 if not I would be happy with Lauletta late in the 2nd or 3rd.
  17. Then is has to be worse for a number of other QBs who threw at the Combine. Outside of Allen and Mayfield his was throwing as hard as anyone else. Much harder and sharper than Rudolph. Check the Combine throwing session. Apples to apples
  18. Cooks is on a one year deal for the 23rd pick in the draft. That is not good value
  19. Is this in case the QB doesn't pan out? Is that overpay? There is a chance the traded picks don't pan out either. I am in the camp of get a QB with one more trade up. But if you have to trade up twice, get it done
