  1. "Cook is useless." Watch the games and not the stat sheet. If you can't see what he brings to the table, and what his skillset can and will do for this offense, you can't be helped. Crazy. I can get on board with the 'we should've drafted x' to an extent. But to write off 2 rookies as worthless is stupid. Which 2nd and 3rd rounders from the bottom of the draft order are making big contributions to their team?
  2. We knew Bernard was going to be the long game. Time will tell. Elam looks like a young stud in the making along either Benford looking like another Dane Jackson. The next tier is Cook and Shakir. Cook has it, and we knew he'd come along slow, he's on verge of a breakout week. Shakir passes the early eyeball test, and his playing time is ramping up as well. I don't know what more the the draft class is able to show on a super bowl favorite by week 9. The two that have started have shown a lot, we have 2 more that have barely played and have looked like exactly what you'd expect... a rookie... there's a spark at times, and rookie mistakes you expect at other times. If someone expected big early returns from this draft class, that's their mistake. Nobody should have thought the start of their season would look any different.
  3. this really isnt fair. he got too big for his britches? thats the issue? its not and a ridiculous take. fans turning on a guy the first sign of struggles, and point at what? 3 commercials that he shot in the offseason, while his agent handles all the behind the scene stuff, including his quarterly twitter post (unless its literally a one word "no" or "nope"). "fans" that think that was really should be embarrassed, and i mean it. comes off as the lowest form of envy/vitriol. dudes has to not have a party with his friends, in case he happens to have a bad week? he cant shoot a commercial in the offseason because he might have a stinker of a game two of 17 games? dude has shouldered every drop of blame that has come this teams way, and 99% of the those have had nothing to do with his performance. has a stinker yesterday, is the first to take the strongest accountability ive seen from any player this year. oh, and when we wreck a team by 3 scores, where does the credit go? he gives it to everyone around him. GROW UP
  4. odd that im praying for a concussion here, but im hoping thats whats going on right now. i remember a stretch of bad games starting around week 3 or 4 from josh, and we ended up finding out it was a shoulder (maybe not but upper body) injury, and he righted the ship in a few weeks
  5. Wait was this a real thread? One that youre basically bragging about lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll im 10/10 pissed with him right now but this is about as dumb as it gets for so many reasons. a. there are infinitely better options to cut to open up a roster spot b. he would have had solid trade value even as a #3 (when you made this thread, but also next year) c. its his 3rd year, hes under contract next year, weird i know, but players tend to get better and fix mistakes thats only the most glaringly obvious reasons
  6. its not about one drop. 2 catches is unacceptable, i dont care if its 2 for 100, wed be better off with a bease stat-line of 6rec 50 yards. we need him to get open so josh has a place to go, keep the chains moving, and do his part in drawing attention to keep defenses from locking in on diggs. hes doing NONE of that
  7. You gotta try the Blitz. Worst case scenario I'd rather get gashed for 7 on 3min drive then 8mins. Force more possessions for both teams and eventually a mistake will come Nothing to lose there. Put the pressure on and atleast turn it into a shootout. We're not built on either side of the ball for a TOP war
  8. The good news is this should leave a very favorable match-up for slot, te, and rbs to get open. I'm almost glad today happened for that reason. We need to stop being so damn 1-D. This OL is playing like trash, let's hope we can get healthy and Kromer can get guys playing to their abilities. Relying on 10 rec, 130yds and a td from Diggs is not sustainable way to win. Also... damn do we miss 2020 Cole. McK has been at his ceiling for 2 years, I don't know what's taking so long but we desperately need to start breaking Shakir in. McK touchdowns are great but he's only done that in RZ. Shakir between the 20s and McK in redzone seems like a no brainer of a start.
  9. Is Josh hurt? I remember a play last week thinking he mightve got his bell rung on? I cant remember last time I saw Josh underthrow someone deep (easily coulda been pressure)
  10. Serious question. How do you block someone in here? I'm all for critical, but there's a few basking in the glory at "being right"
  11. Not really but I took the points Seattle +1.5 on Arizona looks really good to me. Looked like there was some sharps $$ taking them too
  12. Shhhhhhh McD is going to want to use a roster spot for a special teams field goal psyche out specialist
  13. Looks like Josh got Cashapp sponsorship. Check his and Kittle bird app the next few weeks, bet they give out $20 each free!
  14. if we were expecting him to come and a carry the offense with a really good def (DAL situation) id agree, but here hes being asked to eat up some yards that Diggs and Gabe open up for him... plus getting Diggs in the slot would be ENORMOUSSSSSSSSSSS. weve been missing cole whether ppl want to admit it or not. having diggs in the slot helps keep the chains moving easier imo
  15. I thought we played GB last week, why am i suddenly smelling cheese?
  16. I heard he used his 9 to 5 to get his Kiko jersey, boooooooooo this man!!!!!
  17. If buff was still bad I'd be all about this as something else to keep things interesting (nhl trade deadline is great) but it's harder on GMs this way, and we have one of the best GMs in the league. "Keep the tests hard" and well always have better grades than our peers
  18. Spags isn't that sloppy and manly
  19. Should be more a lot more Jets fans than normal id think. Last few years tickets been like $5 and a bad bad team... recipe to fill your stadium up with rival fans
  20. I forgot Lil Nas gave me $20 cash too lol
  21. Not on a platform. That's what cold storage is for πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Quite the opposite. I actually DCA every paycheck, just have no interest in having btc I have no keys to. Threw it out there because at some point they're going to tweet asking for cashapp tags, drop $15-$25 btc for you for free, and people here not interested can collect it and ACTUALLY get their money out. I got $20 from Rodgers. $30 from odell, and $20 from Klay all within the same 3month window, and im pretty sure they're ramping up Josh, Kittle, and those other ppl for that same promo!
  22. I think he got a new sponsorship. Klay Thompson been sponsored by them for a while. Rodgers was last year. I replied on a post and they sent me $20 bitcoin that I sold and withdrew right away. Kittle posting too. Drumming up interest before a promo in guessing. Orrrrrrr he was hacked, but I'm leaning towards the first Side note: not sure who Bella Poarch is but real fapable πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
  23. The pictures were much worse than the video. Doubt he sees any suspension till next year. Damn can we all agree if you're going to pick one time to behave, it should be in the hallway of a hotel, where there are always cameras
  24. Boring prediction wise but: I definitely think he returns punts from here out, allow Shakir to focus on WR, which might be my favorite part of this move (2nd actually after Moss shipped off). I think he returns kicks too this week as a way to get him involved on a short week. 3 carries. 20 yards (3rd, as Cook sees more carries this week) 1 reception 14yds And wtf, Keenum throws an ugly pick, Hines crunches a dude a la 2006 Brian Campbell πŸ˜†
  25. I think the people like your dad will always exist! The bigger issue is the parents and rightfully so. I have a 7yr old daughter, light of my freaking life, if she was a boy I certainly would not be pushing playing football as an idea. I'd encourage her at other sports as I think sports are a great life lesson. I'm not sure at what age, likely not before 10, if "my son" came begging me, I'd eventually give the green light. But it would have to come from them just about begging. Surprisingly I feel the same about soccer (highest concussion rate in HS sports) I'd steer them towards really anything but those two. Sad to even have to consider.
