  1. People always ask me about Kaepernick, It's fantastic. Let me tell you about Kaepernick. I know everything about Kaepernick. I love Kaepernick. No one loves Kaepernick more than me, BELIEVE ME.
  2. It would certainly help in cycling... like EPO... which increased the hemoglobin in the blood which was intended to prevent chemo patients from becoming anemic. Cyclists used it heavily back in the Lance Armstrong days... and they likely still use it IMO.
  3. define "succeed". I think chances are high that one or both of them don't make the final rosters.
  4. Roscoe Parrish Travis Henry Ryan Denney Josh Reed Jeff Posey Mark Campbell Tim Euhus Ross Tucker Angelo Crowell Larry Tripplett Ko Simpson Derrick Dockery Langston Walker Marcus Stroud Demetress Bell Kevin Everett (RIP) Coy Wire Shawn Merriman Donald Jones Thaddeus Lewis
  5. I remember that one time he suffered a season ending injury when he wasn't anywhere near the play. He should've retired and focused on track and field... but the money is just too lucrative.
  6. he sounded competent. nothing really to dislike about anything he said which is all this dog and pony show is.
  7. Sunday, Oct. 21, 1990 Kelly 14y pass to Mueller with 19 seconds left to beat the Jets 30-27.
  8. Yeah I keep having flashbacks to Williams anytime McDermott speaks. When Williams came in he switched from a 3-4 to his 4-3, sound familiar? IIRC, the defense did improve under him, however the offense was largely a mess except for the 8-8 year with Bledsoe. They should be better defensively just because Rex is gone. I think their record will be determined by two things... 1 - Dennison 2 - McDermott's game management
  9. He reminds me of Gregg Williams. When Williams was hired he talked about discipline, character... blah blah blah. He was very organized and methodical in everything he did. His interviews were bland and full of "corporate speak". He's also a defensive coach who others around the league respect. I really don't see the difference between these two guys.
  10. It was the way he said it and how emotional he was about it, like this was it... he accomplished what he set out to do and now he can just sit back and enjoy the moment. So it's obvious (to me at least) that getting drafted was his motivation for playing football. Now that he accomplished everything he set out to do, how will he motivate himself... it raises questions I don't want to be asking about a first round pick.
  11. Trade down until you have every pick in the 7th round.
  12. Yeah, he sounded like a guy who reached the top of the mountain, achieved everything he set out to accomplish. I'd rather the guy say his goal is to win a Super Bowl, or become a starter, or All-Pro.... not just be satisfied to get drafted.
  13. "I completed the promise. That means every-[expletive]-thing to me." So he completed the promise, he reached his goal. What else does he have to play for?
  14. He sounded like he accomplished his main goal and promise to his grandma, which was to get drafted.... that's not exactly what you want to hear from your first round pick.
  15. My source tells me the pick will be LB Jarrad Davis (after a trade down). McDermott loves his leadership abilities and character, which he's trying to improve on this team.
  16. 1. Mike Williams : Titans 2. Corey Davis : Ravens 3. Malik Hooker : Chargers 4. OJ Howard : Eagles 5 Mitch Trubisky : Browns Bills Pick (bonus) : Lattimore
  17. I was at a bar watching the game with Rob Ray. I forget the name of the bar, somewhere near Buff State, The Locker Room IIRC.
  18. San Diego If it wasn't for a few miraculous comebacks, the Chargers would be 6-3 and quite possibly 7-2. Joey Bosa has changed their defense. They've won 3 of the last 4, including wins against Denver and Atlanta. The Dolphins have played their last 4 games at home, winning their last two by a combined 7 points. They are 0-3 on the road, losing those games by a combined 24 points. San Diego haven't given up a 100yd rusher all season and rank 5th in rushing yards allowed per game. If Miami struggles to run the ball, Tannehill will be forced to throw. On the flip side, Miami has the leagues 30th ranked rushing defense going up against Melvin Gordon who ranks 3rd in rushing in the NFL. I like the Chargers in a rout.
  19. Consider there are infinite parallel universes (there are, actually).... in at least one of those universes Trump owns the Bills and is not our next president. Unfortunately, we do not live in that universe.
  20. The proposition was for an additional hotel tax, such that local San Diegans would not foot the bill for the stadium. There's already a 10.5% "transient occupancy" tax on hotel rooms in San Diego. The measure would've increased the tax by 6% to 16.5%.... which would hurt the tourism industry.
  21. 2003 season opener
  22. same. i like the winning streak. still not onboard with Rex and his cast of characters.
