  1. Yeah because Peyton Manning single-handedly willed his team to victory in the Super Bowl.
  2. Since BUF already has a woman onboard, I assume they're exempt.
  3. He was largely ineffective running the ball in the 5-6 games after he came back from his knee injury.
  4. The difference is they need him to prove he can stay healthy before they throw him the big paycheck. He performed well last season, but couldn't stay on the field. Smart move by Whaley.
  5. continuity = keep Taylor at QB, let him keep growing, keep coaching staff the same, low roster turnover urgency = need to show a high level of improvement/focus I like his message. It's not like they were terrible last season. Flip a couple games they should've won and they'd be in playoffs, considering Taylor missed a bunch of games they're not far away. Can Taylor stay healthy? Can Rex fix the defense? Those answers will dictate where this team ends up in 2016.
  6. draft a K Roberto Aguayo
  7. The reason this team never gets anywhere is because they blow it up every 2-3 years. Now, after 1 season with a new HC and D-system they're going to blow EVERYTHING up again? It takes time, let them build the defense the way Rex wants it, I'm OK with giving them another couple of years to fill in the pieces. Blowing it up is the wrong move IMO, they're not that far away. BIll Belichick was 5-11 with NE his first year as their HC, what if they blew it up? They won the Super Bowl the second year.
  8. I'm visiting from California and will be taking my family to the game. It's my boys first Bills game at the Ralph (I worked there in the early 90s).
  9. They need one more WR, Woods is fine, Hogan needs to go. They could use a small quick guy to run the underneath routes like an Amendola/Edelman type. Goodwing? Goodbye. Clay helps too when he's healthy.
  10. We need to have higher standards than "he gives the team a chance to win". We're just so accustomed to watching poor QB play, that anything average is considered good enough. Well, it's not.
  11. if you secure the ball it should be catch... get rid of this "complete the catch all the way through to the ground". keep it simple, posses the ball and secure it, it's a catch.... what happens after doesn't matter.
  12. 80% change to get in if Bills win out... http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL/AFC/AFCEast/Buffalo.html
  13. Back in 1986 I looked up at my Dad and asked him "Dad? Are the Bills ever going to be good?".... He replied, "someday they will Son, someday". A few years later they were in the Super Bowl. Last year my son looked up at me asked "Dad? Are the Bills ever going to be good?".... I replied, "someday they will Son, someday".
  14. Corrente? For a Texans game? The fix is in.... "....he opted to eliminate the tumor through chemotherapy and radiation instead of having it surgically removed. The seven-week course was performed at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center." Seriously tho, he's one of my favorite refs.
  15. golf and swimming
  16. I can't think of win this year where Rex's coaching made a difference in the outcome. He gets consistently outcoached in the second half of games. One thing that made Levy so great, and other coaches like Belichek, are they halftime adjustments they make. Rex's adjustments typically result in this team losing the 2nd half of games.
  17. Why aren't all plays reviewed in real time by an off-field group of refs, then they can buzz down and alert the crew like they do in the last 2-minutes of the game? It takes no time at all to review a catch or fumble or whatever... get rid of the coaches challenge and just review everything. And why does the review have to take place before the next snap? If a team lines up right a away for a quick snap, then just blow the whistle in the middle of the play or whenever they get notified from the off-field refs and reset the down. It's not a hard problem to solve, we have the technology. For example, during the SEA/PIT game, they had Mike Carey on the broadcast giving them a real time review of the play and he said it was not a catch well before the field ref standing at the replay booth made a decision. Why not just clone Mike Carey and have him present at every game reviewing everything in realtime and correcting calls. It won't slow the game down any more than already is, ie the SF/ARI game was delayed 15min because they couldn't figure out which down it was. A review of the previous downs would've addressed it in less than a minute.
  18. ...and when they finally lined up for that play (it was 3rd down), they start blowing the fog horn thing over the stadium sound system as Taylor is trying to yell out the snap count... is that allowed?
  19. Smart - no (few) penalties - no turnovers - play to your strengths (pass rush, mccoy/karlos) - win special teams Dumb - take lots of penalties - turn the ball over - try to be something you're not (drop everybody into coverage, throw lots of deep balls) - lose special teams by turning it over, taking penalties, missing FGs, etc... If they play "smart" and lose, then tip-of-the-hat to New England. If they play "dumb" and lose, then they don't deserve to make the playoffs this year... they're just not good enough.
  20. Bills need to fire whoever is in charge of checking the headsets work. This is getting beyond stupid.
