  1. Fully expect Brown to start next season, with Fred getting about 5-7 touches per game on third down, spot duty like you said. That said, with this coaching staff anything is possible.... hell, maybe Marrone feels he game play some RG?
  2. They need to start using high tech in lieu of refs. Why not put a chip in a puck or a ball so we don't need to have reviews every time? A light can go on or something when the object crosses a line or enters a goal... the tech is there, it's available and would speed the game along. Something like the the hawk-eye in tennis, where the review is instant and played on the big screen for the entire world to see. No more of this under-a-hood replay stuff, that's so archaic. You could use the same tech for first downs, out of bounds, marking where punts go out of bounds, offsides, etc etc.... Replay simply isn't good enough because the ruling is still subjective... ie Manziel fumble. If there was a chip in the ball, you could have an instant measurement of directional velocity.
  3. If it's the Bills I know, they will narrowly beat GB in a hard fought game, then lose in grand fashion at Oakland. As a long time fan I just about expect that to happen.
  4. If the stadium was actually in downtown Buffalo, this wouldn't be an issue.
  5. EJ should've been sitting behind a vet for at least his first 2-3 seasons in the league. Coming out of college he was considered somewhat of a project at the NFL level. Talented no doubt, but would need time to learn the nuances of the game. Huge failure on the Bills behalf not to slot him in behind a veteran QB last season, even after the injury to Kolb.
  6. The Bills will come out flying this game, so much momentum with this team right now. I predict a blowout.
  7. Rumor has it that Pegula is investing a few billion in cryogenesis lavoratories to bring Marv Levy back to life.
  8. Paychex?! Did Tom Golisano buy the Bills?
  9. He'll gut the team and start over from scratch, willy nilly hiring a bunch of his own cronies to run the Bills which will backfire end in disappointment and promises of a rebuild with a new GM. Seriously tho, I wonder if he's tight with Bill Cowher, being a Pennsylvania guy. I'm sure he's got some of his own guys he'd like to bring in. Hopefully he learned from the Sabres experience that you can't build a championship team overnight by over paying for a few high priced FA's. When he took over the Sabres, the gave the existing regime (even after a year of failure) another chance to turn the thing around and prove themselves. He was patient with them but ultimately the writing was on the wall. With the Bills on the upswing, I would think he gives the GM and head coach at least this season and next to take this team to the playoffs and then go from there. He won't fire anybody just to bring in his own guys, he'll give these guys a chance before making any moves.
  10. Fire everybody and get some real experienced football executives in here. Wonder what kind of relationship he has with Bill Cowher, being a Pennsylvania guy.
  11. Pass, 6 yards, scott chandler Pass, 510 miles, TJ Graham
  12. Kyle Orton taking the reigns of the offense in a few weeks... With studs around him, he has a chance to flourish ala Ken Stabler in the mid-70's at 30 years of age with the liks of Branch, Biletnikoff and Casper.
  13. i cancelled and went with NFL Rewind single team subscription for $30. on the left coast i can't watch the games live anyway due to scaha games on sunday morning... so yeah do that
  14. That's great. I've been very impressed with Spikes. The sky is the limit when Kiko returns next season. It'll be like adding a top 10 pick to the defense.
  15. Moulds was big guy who could break tackles. Watkins seems more of a speed guy, his explosiveness after the catch is what makes him special. I see him more like a Peerless Price or Don Beebe.
  16. $1.8 Billyan for the Los Angeles Bills of Anaheim
  17. I'm originally from Buffalo, moved to Silicon Valley, made some money, now live in SoCal. I would love to own the team, but I'm about $997 million short. My group would build a stadium in Irvine and have them play half their games here and half in Buffalo. 4 games at each site... the Buffalo Bills of Anaheim or something. Playing early season games in Buffalo, and when it gets cold, they could play here in Irvine. Great Idea? or the greatest idea?
  18. "we welcome viewers from across the country to what will be the Buffalo Bills last and final game in Western New York..."
  19. 0-16 with a healthy roster, everybody launched. anything else and they get one more year.
  20. Great receivers get double teamed every week in the NFL and they still put up big numbers. It's up to the offensive coordinator to find ways to get him the ball even if double teamed. Hopefully the coaching staff is up to the task.
  21. How long before cocaine violations are relaxed? It was once used for it's medicinal value as well. This is a slippery slope.
  22. Nobody will remember Stevie after Watkins put up 150 yards and 2 scores in week 1.
