  1. He'll gut the team and start over from scratch, willy nilly hiring a bunch of his own cronies to run the Bills which will backfire end in disappointment and promises of a rebuild with a new GM. Seriously tho, I wonder if he's tight with Bill Cowher, being a Pennsylvania guy. I'm sure he's got some of his own guys he'd like to bring in. Hopefully he learned from the Sabres experience that you can't build a championship team overnight by over paying for a few high priced FA's. When he took over the Sabres, the gave the existing regime (even after a year of failure) another chance to turn the thing around and prove themselves. He was patient with them but ultimately the writing was on the wall. With the Bills on the upswing, I would think he gives the GM and head coach at least this season and next to take this team to the playoffs and then go from there. He won't fire anybody just to bring in his own guys, he'll give these guys a chance before making any moves.
  2. Fire everybody and get some real experienced football executives in here. Wonder what kind of relationship he has with Bill Cowher, being a Pennsylvania guy.
  3. Kyle Orton taking the reigns of the offense in a few weeks... With studs around him, he has a chance to flourish ala Ken Stabler in the mid-70's at 30 years of age with the liks of Branch, Biletnikoff and Casper.
  4. i cancelled and went with NFL Rewind single team subscription for $30. on the left coast i can't watch the games live anyway due to scaha games on sunday morning... so yeah do that
  5. That's great. I've been very impressed with Spikes. The sky is the limit when Kiko returns next season. It'll be like adding a top 10 pick to the defense.
  6. Moulds was big guy who could break tackles. Watkins seems more of a speed guy, his explosiveness after the catch is what makes him special. I see him more like a Peerless Price or Don Beebe.
  7. $1.8 Billyan for the Los Angeles Bills of Anaheim
  8. I'm originally from Buffalo, moved to Silicon Valley, made some money, now live in SoCal. I would love to own the team, but I'm about $997 million short. My group would build a stadium in Irvine and have them play half their games here and half in Buffalo. 4 games at each site... the Buffalo Bills of Anaheim or something. Playing early season games in Buffalo, and when it gets cold, they could play here in Irvine. Great Idea? or the greatest idea?
  9. "we welcome viewers from across the country to what will be the Buffalo Bills last and final game in Western New York..."
  10. 0-16 with a healthy roster, everybody launched. anything else and they get one more year.
  11. Great receivers get double teamed every week in the NFL and they still put up big numbers. It's up to the offensive coordinator to find ways to get him the ball even if double teamed. Hopefully the coaching staff is up to the task.
  12. How long before cocaine violations are relaxed? It was once used for it's medicinal value as well. This is a slippery slope.
  13. Nobody will remember Stevie after Watkins put up 150 yards and 2 scores in week 1.
  14. James Hardy JP Losman Roscoe Parrish Jonas Jennings Erik Flowers Peerless Price
  15. How would everyone feel about "The Buffalo Bills of Toronto".... similar deal to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. And what if they still played some games at RWS? I mean, it's better than completely relocating out West. Or build a mega stadium in Niagara Falls, CAN? It might take something creative to keep them around.

  17. Bryan Orakpo. He seemed like the obvious choice at #11, then they go with Maybin, I was like What. The. !@#$. And honest to goodness, Russell Wilson. I was screaming at the TV for the Bills to pick him in round 3, instead we get TJ Graham, yay. Also, I thought DeSean Jackson was the obvious choice in the second round of 2008, instead they pick James Hardy.... that was head scratcher. Another one that stings is missing out on Julius Peppers. Carolina picked 2nd and the Bills 4th in 2002. Now, In week 13th of the 2001 season, a 1-12 Panthers team faced the 1-11 Bills. All the Bills had to do was lose that game and they get the inside track to the #2 pick, Julius Peppers. Carolina was up 24-6 half-way through the game.... but then the Bills rattle off 3 straight scores and win by 1 point.... and as a reward for our heroics we end up with Mike Williams.
  18. My fear is this.... they end up with a top 15 position in the draft.... very likely at this point. Some stud QB prospects (better than EJ last draft) will likely be available when they pick (Boyd, Mariota, Manziel, Mettenberger, Carr), but they don't take a QB because they're so heavily invested in EJ. EJ continues to struggle while somebody like Boyd or Mariota take off. IMO you have to take one of those QB's. EJ is proven to be delicate thus far, and we don't have anything close to a competitive backup.
