  1. Sophomore slump, he'll be OK, but I expect more teams to challenge him this season.
  2. I like Aaron, I really do, he's a fine safety. Liked him at Texas too. Unfortunately, I don't see him making the final roster. He has a career threatening issue with his neck, one bad hit and he's done. I don't expect him to make it through camp, it's time for him to look for something else outside of football.

  4. He's only started 9, 14, 12 games each of the past 3 years. He got injured making a routine tackle last season. Durability is a huge concern IMO... same with Tyrod.
  5. I'll make a prediction. EJ starts at minimum 3 games this season, and plays so well that we have a QB controversy on our hands when Taylor gets healthy.
  6. Mighty Taco?
  7. Wonder how much these aging field turf surfaces are contributing to these types of injuries. Note that the Bills are the only team in the NFL to use the A-Turf Titan field turf product. "A-Turf" is a company based in Cheektowaga, NY. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/08/27/roethlisbergers-rant-at-ralph-wilson-stadium-turf-missed-the-mark/ Buffalo likes to draft guys out of the SEC, where just about all the surfaces are grass. That said, the artificial surfaces in the NFL are much more sticky than natural grass. I'm not surprised to see these guys pulling up lame at the Ralph as often as they do. That TD catch Sammy had last season, nobody around him, but his foot stuck to the turf and he suffered a severe injury. That injury wouldn't have happened on grass.
  8. Goodwin is an olympic level athlete, just doesn't have the musculoskeletal talent to withstand NFL punishment. I'm afraid Watkins' issues are following a similar trend. He's only started every game in 50% of the seasons he's played. It's literally a coin flip if he'll play every game this year.
  9. This entire team is glass. Gilmore goes out for the season on a simple shoulder tackle. Taylor, Watkins, McCoy, pretty much questionable every single game. Kyle Williams every year. Now Swaq Lawson. There's a quote about guys who get hurt a lot... something to the effect that if you're always getting hurt, you're not good enough to be playing in the NFL. It's not bad luck, it's that you're not a good enough athlete to avoid getting injured.
  10. But we were told the same thing last year.... "this defense could be the best of all-time, blah blah blah." I like the moves, but I'm not getting my hopes up until i see some production on the field. Can Gilmore stay healthy? Can Kyle Williams stay healthy? Who's our starting safety's? How they gonna stop Gronk/Brady? Will Carpenter get back to his 2014-15 form?
  11. Slot machines, tables, and a sports book IN THE STADIUM.
  12. +1 for 300's, try to stay inside the 35 yd lines and first 10 rows... golden.
  13. ...in other news, increased risk of cancer and birth defects linked to the use of artificial sunlight technology.
  14. The thing about Jim Kelly wasn't his stats. It was his will to win, to hang in the pocket and take a beating to get the ball out on time. So many second half comebacks. That and he called all his own plays at the line of scrimmage. He was offensive coordinator and QB all in one. That's what made him great.
  15. Pegula bucks to the rescue! Wonder how many fracked oil wells that cost for Cordy.
  16. ...and that statement would be "I have no idea what I'm doing".
  17. red carpet seriously? with 10min between picks the Bills might not pick until 8 or so... well 11p ET. THANKS NFL!
  18. 3 of their first 4 games are at home. enjoy your season tickets NE fans, hahahaaha!
  19. Week 4: Bills @ NE
  20. no whammiess... no whammies... no whammies.... STOP!!!
  21. Tom Donahoe > Whaley > Nix
  22. Yeah because Peyton Manning single-handedly willed his team to victory in the Super Bowl.
  23. Since BUF already has a woman onboard, I assume they're exempt.
  24. He was largely ineffective running the ball in the 5-6 games after he came back from his knee injury.
  25. The difference is they need him to prove he can stay healthy before they throw him the big paycheck. He performed well last season, but couldn't stay on the field. Smart move by Whaley.
