  1. Bills dad posts have always lived on the main board (just like the other girl that sings). It is certainly relevant to Bills football. A story about him (true or false) is Bills news.

  3. Oh man!! That Fields and Fromm relationship is apparently a little icy.
  4. Cardale was a different player. He was a 7th round pick for a reason. He had huge upside but plenty of flaws. He didn’t have the touch or production of Haskins. He’s going to end up being the 1st QB off the board IMO. Gil Brandt was talking about how much the scouting community loves him last week. Haskins is squeaky clean as a prospect. He just doesn’t have a lot of starts under his belt.
  5. He was one of my sleepers last year. He would absolutely be my pick.
  6. Having seen every snap of his career I can say, with confidence, that Haskins is by MILES the best pro prospect Urban has ever had (besides Alex Smith). He typically has these zone read QBs. That’s not Haskins. He is 100% a pocket passer. He’s accurate, with a big arm. The pro scouts LOVE him. I will be surprised if he isn’t the first QB taken.
  7. We are in agreement. 3rd down efficiency, turnovers and the red zone matter. Do you pick up 1st downs? Do you score when you have a chance? That is what matters. Throwing for 300 or 400 or 500 yards mean nothing without those other things.
  8. They really don’t matter. Ben, Ryan, Cousins, Eli and Carr are all in the top 13 and the teams are underachieving. It doesn’t correlate to wins. Red zone execution, 3rd down efficiency and turnovers correlate to wins. Yards don’t matter at all. They are fun but meaningless.
  9. They dont Who cares when he throws for 300 yards? Take care of the football and execute in the red zone and on 3rd down. Points matter
  10. He hasn’t dropped any passes (besides the 1st Peterman pick). He hasn’t caught any either. He has 3 more catches than me this year. Our running game has steadily declined since he got here and our pass protection is trash. How is he helping? Ha ha, I know it’s harsh but it was a TERRIBLE signing for the money and he hasn’t improved the team at all. He was just a mistake and there is no reason to waste a roster spot on that guy.
  11. DiMarco sucks Allen, Dawkins (maybe LT or maybe OG), Teller, Zay (slot), Foster (2nd WR)
  12. I don’t disagree that there are other viable options. My point is just that Barkley is a perfectly reasonable option. He’s a superstar. You need a few of them. He can score from anywhere on the field. He certainly not a bad pick.
  13. I don’t know. Saquon may have 100 catches this year too. He has a real chance to have 2,200 yards from scrimmage with 15+ TDs. Using the successful UDFA as the example is like using “Brady was a 6th rounder” to advocate scrub QBs. Blue chip guys are never a bad pick and Barkley is an absolute blue chipper. It is one thing to prefer a QB but it isn’t insane to be happy with a guy that gets you 100 catches, 2,200 yards and a TD a game.
  14. Great topic Alpha!!! I voted Barkley. The QBs all have a chance to be good to great. Barkley to me though is an elite talent. He was one of the best backs that I ever saw in his sophomore year.
  15. God, Cowher would have been the worst hire!! The game is so different than what he believes in. I think you are thinking of Joe Chennelly maybe?
  16. Yeah, it’s kind of an “eye of the beholder” thing. I wouldn’t keep any of the current TEs so 2 was my conservative number. Clay OR Croom probably stays. I doubt that they are both back. Thomas is almost certainly gone IMO.
  17. That’s why I said there needs to be a tier break. No one is going to scrafice 2nd round picks to get Oliver when they can stay put and get Wilkins (or whatever). It’s not really speculation it’s reasoned thought based on the current state of the draft board (which is close to set). I agree with the rest. The Bills desperately need offense. They need 3 OL, 2 TEs, 2 WRs and a RB at minimum. I don’t care where they get these guys but they need them.
  18. For whom? Haskins I presume? I think Herbert will be gone by the time we pick. If he stays in school then maybe Haskins goes in that spot. I don’t see many (or any) other QBs that are going to go near the top 10. Because someone wanted to come up for a QB.
  19. I don’t think that they are in the same tier as guys like Bosa & Quinnen Williams. I have a bunch of defensive players ahead of any offensive players. In a draft like this it has the reverse effect too. If it is thin at a position guys naturally get overdrafted. If it is deep at a position guys get underdrafted. I’m a BIG believer in drafting to the strength of the draft for that reason. You get better football players.
  20. Which is an option IF someone wants to come up to where we are picking. The only time that trade downs are feasible is when you are on the verge of dropping a tier in terms of players. Maybe if only one of Greedy Williams or Deandre Baker is left then it’s possible. I really don’t see any other possibilities.
  21. I think that everyone agrees that protecting Josh and getting Josh weapons are the 2 biggest needs. That doesn’t mean that you reach in the draft. Good teams never do that. The top tier of this draft is on the defensive side of the ball. Get the best player that you can. You have to draft to the value. They will plug some holes in FA to lend that flexibility.
  22. It doesn’t matter. If the Bills are picking in the top 5 it will almost certainly be a defensive player. That’s the talent that warrants a top 5 pick. If they fall closer to 10 it could be an offensive player.
  23. It was a REALLY dirty play. I don’t blame Jenkins at all for being angry. There is no place in the game for that.
