  1. The reason that he is there is that he is the highest ceiling guy. Metcalf CAN be a number 1. You have him at 5th best but most other outlets have him as the 1st one off the board. It will depend on how he heals and tests but it’s not crazy.
  2. They certainly have to address the OL but they CAN do both. The thing about Bell is he would be the best receiver and runner on this team. I’m not opposed to him at all (although I think he goes to Indy).
  3. Michigan has recruited at an elite level since Harbaugh has been there. He will never beat OSU. As someone that has watched closely for the last handful of year he is WAY overrated.
  4. Yeah, he was an MVP candidate last year. He definitely hasn’t been better than Foles this year. He is scary to me. I’d rather they have someone that isn’t dangerous.
  5. He had 471 and 4 yesterday. He won the most recent Super Bowl. He is WAY scarier than Tannehill or Flacco.
  6. He will never (and has never) won the big one. I think Harbaugh sucks. He is too volitale. He gets wound so tight that his team’s no-show in big games (outside of the 2nd half of the Super Bowl). I would be thrilled if he went to the Jets. That’s a different issue.
  7. Dinner at Jacques-imo’s and Rebirth at Maple Leaf...great night out
  8. It’s Wentz or Foles. Wentz played at an MVP level last year and when Foles gets going he is unstoppable!! I would WELCOME the other 4 to that role.
  9. Thanks and congrats to you as well!!
  10. I LOVE this!! As far as I am concerned the Jets are the other team on the rise in this division. Harbaugh ASSURES that they will never win big games. I’ll miss him at ttun but will be thrilled to have him in the AFC East.
  11. Part of the reason that it didn’t work with Benjamin (and Funchess has the same problem) is that teams have gone to bigger corners to counteract the big receivers. That “he’s open when he’s not” doesn’t really exist anymore. The big guys that succeed all have speed (sub 4.5). The ones that don’t can’t separate. The other receivers that succeed have elite speed. You need to make chunk plays. It’s too hard to consistently win needing 12 play drives IMO. The most explosive offenses are the best teams (and that list no longer includes the Pats). Fair
  12. I totally disagree with this piece. It takes speed to open up the rest of the field. The Bills offense is the perfect example of that. Before inserting McKenzie and Foster they were trending towards the worst offense in history. TE play has declined in recent years. Ertz, Kittle and Kelce are good but the position is in a much worse place than 5 years ago. The only big possession guys making a difference now are Julio, Evans and Thomas. Julio runs a 4.39 and Evans a 4.43. They are speed guys. The other top receivers in football are Brown, Smith-Schuster, Diggs, Adams (maybe an exception but has Rodgers), Thielen, Hill, Green, Hopkins, Hilton, Cooks and Beckham. They are ALL speed guys.
  13. All different guys though. Old Art had his demons. Smith was never going to be a pro. Barrett was the same. Cardale was super raw and all or nothing. Haskins is a 1st round pick. He reminds me of Matt Ryan. We will see how it turns out.
  14. Yeah, that’s right. He was a 4th. He had MASSIVE upside. There is no doubt about that. He also had an incredibly low floor. He was either going to be a Pro Bowl QB or never see the field. He was huge, with a big arm, and a lot of athleticism.
  15. I’m of the general belief that if a rule doesn’t make any sense there is no reason for it to be a rule. I’m not surprised that so many are outraged by this. When you factor in the history of this particular official you can’t help but wonder if it was racially motivated? Add in the fact that he was a kid and it’s even worse. It’s almost 2019 there is no place for this kind of abuse of power.
  16. Right now there is no doubt that Lynn is ahead of McDermott. It’s not even a debate. With that being said I think that “the right HC” varies from team to team. McDermott tried to change the culture which was important coming from Rex. I don’t think that he’s a great HC at this point but the tone he set was an important one.
  17. Is this question real? I’m on record as saying Kelly is one of the most overrated players in history. He is 30,000x better than Mark Rypien.
  18. Yeah, it’s not ideal but I don’t think that the offense should get it at the goal line either. It’s somewhat punitive but a decent compromise.
  19. I have a different solution. I think that the offense should retain possession but the ball should go back to the 20. The defense shouldn’t get the ball by default but the offense should face a little bit of hurt.
  20. You just quietly sit in the back. You have to leave your cellphone with the security outside of the room. I wish I had some say...
  21. Yeah, it was a trade up too. It was interesting but in hindsight it was a TERRIBLE decision.
  22. I like the decision. Barkley feels like a good fit for that role.
  23. I was in for one pick, John McCargo
