  1. But, because of all the ways you say the game is different, our window can stay open a bit longer.
  2. Agreed. I watched the Divisional round playoff game with a friend of mine...he is not a die-hard Bills fan (his team is the Bear..s), but pulls for them, because of me. A few times during the season I referred to the Bills having one of the best defenses in the league... he never said much. During the game this past Sunday, they showed a graphic which illustrated that the Bills had, indeed, the #1 defense in the league...by any statistical measure. He turned to me and said "all this time, when you were saying the Bills have the #1 defense, I thought you were just being a fan. It seems like every-time I have seen a Bills game this year, the number of big runs they give up always stands out to me...I would never guess they were a top defense in the league, from watching them". Now, he mainly saw only the prime-time games, and the playoff games, where the Bills were playing the better teams in the league...but his point was taken. As much as I love our defense, the number 1 defense in 2022 is a far cry from the #1 defenses of 20 years ago. The game has just changed so much. QB's on lousy teams still easily put up 300 yards on a fairly regular basis.
  3. Jeepers...time to step away from TBD for a while....
  4. I do one every year (have watched every SB since 1993 with the same core group of friends at my place)...I will this year too...but I am pretty uninterested in whatever else happens....Chiefs/Rams might actually be a good game, but it is going to take a while to get over that thing last night. Last season ended with a big disappointment too...but they made it further than I had ever dreamed, and that game wasn't even really close... I suspect, in a few weeks, I will get over it, but right now, the thought of pretending I give a ***** if the Chiefs, Rams, Bengals or 49ers win a championship is not something I am looking forward to.
  5. Usually, when someone says "streaker", it implies somebody not wearing cloths...thankfully this guy was!
  6. He's an uber douche...he earned it.
  7. I have heard Sal C say a few times, that he has a "hunch" that the Bills will be playing a game somewhere over-seas next season.
  8. Funny thing is, people always say Allen was terrible against the Jags... to be honest, I think the whole offensive team (especially the offensive line) was just flat that day...I think Josh only looked bad, because he was forcing things, to compensate for the lack of fire of the offensive personnel in general. It happens. The fact that the score was so close, had Allen thinking no doubt "all I have to do is make one play". So, the more time became a factor, the more he was forced to force things...hero ball they call it.
  9. Not a shot at you, but I have come to the conclusion that the collective fan base of every team are "cocky" when their team experiences some success....our fanbase is no different...it's all part of the fun of being a fan...for some.
  10. Oh, I was wondering who purchased the remaining unsold tickets!
  11. The guys who booted my brother out of a game in 1999! He deserved it...
  12. I think the world we live in today, everyone would hate whoever they have doing the telecasts.
  13. I can't think of any football player that has changed my opinion of him, so drastically, more than Rodgers has this season. He has always had a aloof sort of "I'm too smart for everyone" vibe, but in a low-key sort of way. But this season, he confirmed whatever possible negative ideas I had about him... he is a smug, arrogoant douche. But, a hell of a QB. Unless he is playing against the Patriots in the Super Bowl, I don't think I will ever find myself rooting for the Packers, like I always have, when the Bills aren't affected...as long as he is there. I might even find myself pulling for Brady (who, if they insist the MVP has to go to a QB, is every bit as deserving if not more-so than Prince Rogers), should the Bucs and Packers somehow face each-other in the playoffs. Rodgers is a bum!
  14. I absolutely hate Monday night...Saturdays are not great for me either, unless it is the late game. Any time Sunday works best!
  15. Denver seems the logical place for Rodgers, if he doesn't retire, or stay in Green Bay. They have talent, draft capital... good group of receivers in need of a QB. I could see Wilson with the Giants as well. Their commitment to Daniel Jones this week is a facade.
  16. That may be a little generous!
  17. I did not know that!
  18. Baily Quarters, all the way!
  19. So, 2nd round of the playoffs. Is anyone still alive out there? Who you got?
  20. Not going to say that Sanders is over the hill or washed up or anything like that....but for whatever reason, some of Allens' worst passes have gone to Sanders...like he is trying to force the ball to him, so he doesn't feel left out. I am sure there is a bit of that with all the receivers from time to time...and Sanders certainly doesn't seem like a "diva". Davis is up an coming... he continually comes up big for the Bills, in his limited role. Let him play more!
  21. Not really...it indicates that the Bills have blown out bad teams, of which there have been many on their schedule. The Bills are clearly a "good team", but are they a "great" team?
