  1. I was hoping the incident would lead to some type of physical altercation. Still mildly entertaining though.
  2. QUESTION: How long will it take for this forum to go, say, 6 months without a Tyrod thread being started? When will we get there? 2028?
  3. By far the best thing that can happen is for Allen to come back immediately, remain healthy, and start the rest of the season. It doesn't matter if he sinks or swims, either will be progress towards our future. It's pretty much all that can be salvaged from a lost campaign. EDIT: And oh yeah, I forgot to mention, lose out.
  4. I am on board with McBeane's immediate dismissal, as that will save us time in the long run. It would also be great if Pegula ordered them to take a QB with our coming high first round pick for when Allen busts. That will save us some time too at least in terms of having a backup shot at QB. Doesn't mean the newly drafted QB will be any better but gotta keep taking QBs until we have one. This whole thing is on pace to end at the end of next season, then more regime change, then more personnel change to make the new HC happy, etc. I'm just trying to save some time here. And YES, I would ONLY consider young, offensive minded HC candidates. Not because that is totally necessary, but b/c I think it gives an advantage and creates the greatest chance for success.
  5. How is it you know Nate is not starting material but Josh Allen is our long awaited franchise QB? Both have played about the same number of games and both have looked about the same, with the caveat that Allen has had a few more nice runs escaping the pocket.
  6. *berth* My memory immediately goes back to the '80s. Before that, many of the OJ teams were abortions as well. This is as bad as it's been in a really long time. All part of the plan, I hear.
  7. Who cares what it is. He's terrible, despite what this fanbase told me the day we acquired him from Carolina.
  8. The last Bill to have an arm this weak was Jeff Tuel.
  9. That's not what's going around at all. What's going around is that this is now an offense-driven game and teams with an innovative offensive minded coach are likely to be the most competitive, or maybe even enjoy an advantage going forward. But the Bills have a defensive minded HC who has already shown to my satisfaction that he has no understanding of the offensive side of the ball whatsoever. McD is "3 yards and a cloud of dust" guy. That's not going to work in today's game.
  10. Jesus, are we still hashing out the merits of Tyrod F-ing Taylor? Let it go people! Just let it go!
  11. McDermott coaches a very cautious, conservative brand of football. His ideal game has us winning 13-10 and controlling the clock. On top of that, we have no WR talent and less QB talent. So there's that too. But these guys could take a shot downfield now and again, certainly.
  12. If you listen to him speak, McDermott will tell you, very clearly, that he is 100% an old school football guy. Rex Ryan was the same. Those guys are all the same. The league left them behind a long time ago. The people who are winning now, and who are going to do the winning in the future, are playing a different sport to the one McDermott thinks he knows something about. "Control the line of scrimmage! Tough physical football! Establish the run game!"
  13. Not the most inspiring matchup of all time. I have it recording and will start watching in about an hour. Need my BS, commercial, and half-time free buffer zone!
  14. That's not exactly true, though we need a QB and currently don't have one on the roster. Yes it is. I know just what you mean, but the sad reality is that you can! At least in Buffalo. I'm not totally sure Pegula knows what he's looking at and I've said many times he is the lowest information sports fan you will find. I think this is probably right. Our only hope for getting McD fired this year is if Pegula feels embarrassed. Without that, he will stay. I think this is worse than he thought, but perhaps not to the level of embarrassment. Yes, there is a lot of revisionist history going on here now. It's not that hard to dig up the preseason prediction threads. The majority of this board are kool aid drinking optimists disconnected from reality. They were not predicting the worst offensive team in the modern history of the game. This is key. You know why they did that? B/C McDermott is a meathead "football guy" and he was likely thinking "We need to get on the board; we need to score something and get the momentum going" as though that helps. He's not thinking through the big picture or analyzing it from a numbers perspective b/c that's not how his brain works. That the best you got? LOL You got that right! That's how this place works. Most folks here are followers by nature and exhibit a herd mentality; they like to run with the pack and derive comfort from knowing others around them think the same way they do. On top of that, they are disconnected from reality and greatly overvalue the quality of the Bills organization, no matter who is running it or who is on the team. They are precisely the same people who defended Doug Whaley when I was pointing out what a joke he was as GM....and they are also the same people who NOW routinely joke about how bad Whaley was. The goalposts keep moving. They don't view things objectively; their goal is to simply defend the team/organization at all costs. They are also the same people who LOVED the Rex Ryan hire. "He brings us relevancy!" they said. "He's a big name coach known around the country!" and so on. Now they all joke what a train wreck he was, now that he is no longer the coach.
  15. The segment just ended and Mike Schopp never asked the question! Nothing close to the topic was brought up. Totally. Maybe next week!
  16. A lot of people here don't seem to understand that Murph and Tasker are paid by the Bills to represent the team in a positive light and in fact, function as an arm of the Bills PR department. Do you expect them to tell the truth? Peterman is a joke, he would find employment on no other roster in the league, and the fact that he is still playing for the Bills is an embarrassment. There's the truth. You probably won't hear Murph comment on that though.
  17. What in the world do you think he is learning about playing QB in the NFL as he stands on the sideline and watches? Especially with the likes of Anderson and Nate playing QB? He will learn by playing and only by playing. Hopefully he can come back soon.
  18. Well, maybe we have the rest of the conference right where we want them.
  19. I drink 2 mugs of black coffee every morning as a ritual to help wake up, but do not drink coffee at any other time or under any other circumstance. Don't drink it after dinner at a nice restaurant or that type of thing. Don't drink it in the afternoon to help sharpen up. I'm not sure if this makes me a psychopath.
  20. I religiously only buy Starbucks as it's one of the highest quality readily available brands you can get. You can get it for about $6.99 a sack or a bit cheaper if you buy the right store and/or wait for sales and then buy a bunch. But I hear you in terms of not liking it. It seems to be kind of divisive. It is a very strong roast and lots of folks just don't like that. I love it.
  21. We currently share a record with the 1977 Tampa Bay Bucs; we have as many TDs as PICK-6s for the season. Go Bills.
  22. Not really. And I think every QB on this roster, including Allen, is terrible.
  23. Still nicely on pace to break our own franchise record for worst season in 1971 in terms of point differential. Also currently on pace with the 1977 Tampa Bay Bucs for the record of having as many TDs as Pick-6s. Go Bills.
