Allen makes us 100 times better? Have you seen his numbers? In his last full game against Tennessee, he was 10 of 19 for 82 yards passing, with a 52.6% completion percentage, and a Total QB rating of 35.5. Longest pass on the day was 13 yards. That's not exactly breathtaking quarterbacking. In fact, that's f-ing horrible.

Critical must lose game next Sunday

Who is this QB of which you write? Do you mean Josh Allen? He is nowhere close to being declared "the guy" and the future at that position on this team is very much open ended as of right now. -
Take the top 5 pick and please trade down in 2019

I would try like hell to convince Justin Herbert to come out and do what it takes to get him. He and Allen can battle it out and may the better man win. -

all the better to trade down, and trade down some more. Secure lots of picks and try to insert new starters all over the field. -
Matt Barkley should start next week.

I think that's far from certain. -

Well, we had the #3 overall pick some years ago and took Marcell Dareus. How'd that work out, overall? -

As long as Allen does not play, I don't think we are capable of winning a football game. If he does play, he will have some rust to shake off and he's still pretty terrible anyway. We're looking at a solid top 3 pick IMO. -
Someone should be fired. Simple

I don't think it's necessarily fair to throw Daboll under the bus scapegoat style, but if someone's gotta go, it should be him. I know we can do better at that position than him. -

It does if a guy like Sean McDermott is your head coach. Did you notice that he's a defensive coordinator who preaches 1940s football tenets? Did you miss the part about the Rams having an offensive Wunderkind? -

I think New England will get their points but Green Bay will struggle to keep up. I hope I'm wrong and will be cheering for Green Bay. -
What's with this clown Thomas playing with the cell phone after the TD? That stuff is maddening for the coach!

Prediction...McCoy retires at end of the year.

Unfortunately, a precedent has been set for that making it a possibility! Only in Buffalo... -
Peterman scores Bills 1st TD in 38 possessions

To think, the guys who made that decision are also banking on Josh Allen working out as a our franchise QB! -
Watching 2 teams like Rams and Saints going at it reminds me of last year's Superbowl. This is practically a different sport compared to the brand of football McDermott believes in and is trying to build in Buffalo, or that we have seen play in Buffalo these last 9 games. We are beyond irrelevant right now.

Even if we accept this to be true, I think you'll agree there is no chance McBeane select a QB talent with that Top 5 pick. Which defeats the entire point of acquiring said pick. You think a run stuffing stud D lineman translates to wins and losses in the NFL in 2018? It doesn't. How about a speedy edge rusher? Nope. How about our bold move to trade up for Sammy Watkins? Game changing WR talent! What did that do for us? We need a QB. Instead, we are burning a year and relying on Josh Allen. It's gonna be a while before we are good, and when we are, McBeane won't be associated with this team.

Jets release Terrelle Pryor; reports he is healthy

I think cutting KB and Sweet Nate would be perceived as detrimental to the process, or a verification that the process has failed, at least in part. That's why it ain't gonna happen. -
The media doesn't think McDermott is going to throw his players under the bus. They are asking suggestive, juicy questions as an opportunity for McD to say maybe something interesting so they can write about it. They're trying to get quote material.

The biggest myth on the Process/Rebuild

Or maximize your scheme to fit their abilities! Either way, your point stands. This thing has been sandblasted back down to bare metal and there was no reason to do that. Wasting an entire season as part of a strategy was a very crude and wasteful approach. Kind of like noticing you have a blister on your little toe, so you whip out a chainsaw and cut the foot off. -
557 combined yards of offense as of halftime of the Saints/Rams game. Stuff that in your pipe and smoke it, "pound the rock, play good D, and control the line of scrimmage" football fans!

I think most people defending the regime right now aren't into analytics. If they liked to look at stats, they would realize that we are in a good position to record--quite literally--the worst season in the modern era of professional football. As you mention! It's isn't just an off season or a slump. This is failure on a historic level.
