  1. And he's not very accurate...if folks complain about Josh so much...Jones is worse. Jones is Peterman with better wheels and better size...
  2. I feel bad, but I am cheating on the Sabres with the Hurricanes during the playoffs.... yes, those Hurricanes, the Bunch of Jerks
  3. Zion Williamson is the only Dukie who should be #1 on anybody's draft board -- NFL or NBA...
  4. He ignored the swing away sign...unbelievable....
  5. I'd rather try Edmunds at TE in goal line....that's just me though. He's a freakin' monster.

  7. Great thread, @Peace Frog I thought I could handle the prospect of having a potential franchise QB. Staying calm and letting Josh develop-- taking the wait and see attitude. However, this week I realized I am falling for Josh Allen in a big way. Thursday night, I am on a plane from Dallas to Nashville. A huge Cowboy fan sits next to me and I am on Fanspeak doing a Bills Mock Draft (taking a break from doing work of course). The guy is familiar with Fanspeak and says, "you are a Bills guy, why aren't you drafting a QB?" I then stop my draft and say, "Did you see the games after he was injured?". I force him to watch the 14-minute Josh Allen Highlight Package. I convince him we have our QB....and then I realize, I am a Josh Allen defender and fan boy...
  8. Does this kid ooze Buffalo or what?
  9. Have gotten to know three of his players from the Bengals Super Bowl XVI team through the years (Ross Browner, Gary Burley, Reggie Williams)...they loved him as a coach. Lombardi called him the finest player he ever coached. Both great legacies.
  10. That was easy...moved 2 seats from 331 to 129 for $26 whole dollars!
  11. There will be a rationalization... Beane will say when we have two players at two positions essentially equally rated, we go with the position where we have the least depth. Another rationalization is that certain positions are prioritized before the draft begins...for example, QB is not seen as a round 1-3 need this year...but if Tyree Jackson is sitting there at the 29th pick of the 4th round -- you have to take him...its called accumulating assets.
  12. While the kick was in the air....NFL should pay for all the therapy Norwood needed. Letting the Giants win like that was crazy..
  13. Old time, I thought this was true and almost had confirmation. Coach Cowher and I frequented the same Starbuck's in Raleigh (Six Forks and Lassiter Mill) for a number of years. One Saturday morning he was in front of me in line and my boys had their Bills gear on....the Barista at the time was a kid from Buffalo and also a huge Bills fan. Both the Barista and I said, "Coach are we going to see you roaming the sidelines at Ralph Wilson Stadium next year?" He just smiled at both of us and said Buffalo was a great football town. I thought for sure we had him. A really nice man by the way... talked to my son -- who was a Mighty Mite pass rusher and tackle for about 10 minutes and gave him some good pointers.
  14. That Bill Cowher would have been our coach if it wasn't for his wife (God rest her soul).
  15. Converting and holding on third down..I think the lines are key on these downs..you take the player that best allows you to get off the field on third down on D or stay on the field on third down on O... On Offense - Hockenson is a really good edge blocker who can both kick and seal and he is a threat in the quick passing game. On D- Wilkins is solid against the backside cut back run and gets pressure up the middle .. which is important on third down to disrupt quick passing plays Hockenson or Wilkins with a slight edge toward Wilkins since the Interior DL drop off is pretty steep after him and TE is deeper.
  16. $5 Million a year for a tackle is really not a lot. And if Nsekhe sucks this year the out is $1.5 million next. So I definitely don't understand that one. These contracts for the second tier offensive lineman other than Morse are essentially all one-year deals (Waddle and Spain) or prove it deals (Long, Feliciano and Nsekhe)...Brown was projected to get more than the Bills paid by most pundits and has shined when he is paired with a QB with a good deep ball. The Johnson signing I can see room for critique but the Bills have his old Corner Coach who knows him best and then the Bills signed Gaines for insurance. If each Johnson and Gaines give us 1/2 a season ;-), they have earned their pay. Easy to refute everything that was said by the anonymous source.
  17. He may not be a sleeper anymore but I really like Corey Ballentine CB from Washburn in KS...
  18. Trey White > Bobby Bonilla
  19. ?LaAdrian Waddle married well....joining many of us on this board in outkicking our coverage...
  20. Chad Michael Murray‏Verified account @ChadMMurray 31m31 minutes ago Chad Michael Murray Retweeted FOX Sports: NFL Let’s Go Buffalo!!!! Vote Vote Vote! This is Payback for that BS #MusicCityMiracle @buffalobills @NFLonFOX #BillsMafia The kid actor from Buffalo has a point!!!!

Have no idea how Wilkins lasted to #28 but trading up to get him made sense; same with Smith who was the last of the 3 best TE's left on the board.
  23. Happy Belated Birthday, Zay. Turned 24 yesterday. Zay has become one of the boards favorite targets of ire. I understand the criticism for the drops, the gaining yards at garbage time, etc, but his stats for the last five games last year were 19 catches, 260 yards and 5 TDs That's an 800 yard, 15 TD season... He improved as Josh improved and became a favored red zone target. The Bills will build around Zay, Foster, Beasley, Brown and 1st 3 round rookie -- not cut Zay.
  24. Longest Yard III? He would only add a couple of years to the average age of the Bills RB ? I am here all week, try the veal...
