Met Ryan Fitzpatrick briefly at Busch Gardens Yesterday

Fitzy is a master at just winning enough to keep his team from implementing a long-term replacement strategy. He's a Harvard (Havaad) man you know... -

What am I missing about Jared Cook?
JoeF replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'll be the worst ***** 1000 yard 70 catch tight 10 TD tight end in the league with Brees. A piece of crap if you ask me. -
A trade down is now off the table.
JoeF replied to Cripple Creek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you, SC. At the very least, 6's and 7's are going to have trouble making this team. I think Beane is going to use 5-7's as currency to stack picks in rounds 1-4. A trade down in the first to net an added second and fourth maybe. The a trade back into the lower first to get a target at a position of low depth in the draft. Then using a combination of 5ths, 6th and 7th to get back into the mid and lower 4th to get players. I would be surprised if the Bills 10 picks yield more than 8 players once Beane is done trading. There's just not room on the roster. Man, I am shocked to type this...happily shocked. -
Are you embarrassed to wear Bills gear?

Are you embarrassed to wear Bills gear?
JoeF replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You and Cole Beasley should bond over this... ? I wear it proudly. My wife wears Bills and Sabres gear all the time even though she is a Niners fan (and SF native). She likes the Bills colors and she has found she really likes meeting displaced WNYers. My daughters and sons wear Bills gear all the time. They all tell me that wearing Bills gear always leads to meeting great people with WNY roots. The Bills bond people together like no other fan base. The Steelers might be close but I think the Bills are still more core to the image of WNY than the Steelers are to Pittsburgh. Wearing the gear is a sign of our pride in not just our team but in our home region. To coin an old phrase "We're talking Proud!!!". Hazmat units in Atlanta are on standby... -
Mr. Ed wouldn't have traded for Joe Flacco...Wilbur might have...

None of this could be Elway trying to save face with the fans while he enters year 2 of his "rent a declining veteran QB" strategy? No way, right?

Not me. 2 curves indoor killed it for me but that was a long time ago....

Wow....that was an impressive 200M on the indoor. That was an amazing run down...by outdoor season its possible he would run an Olympic Qualifying time...

My over/under on the number of posts until this appeared was 10 (the actual was 17). I was getting a little worried that TBD's moral compass had shifted. Thank you for restoring my faith, Chandler...

Brandon Beane's Most Impressive Move as Bills GM
JoeF replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I picked trading up and drafting Allen because that involved the Tyrod trade, the Watkins trade, the Darby trade and the Glenn trade. Positioning the Bills to enter the top 7 of the draft took stacking several moves together. That's good GM work in my book. -
Would love to see Flowers on the Bills. Flowers had the third highest Defensive snap count for the Pats front 7 last year (739 and over 70% of plays) (Van Noy and Hightower had more)...Bennett won't replace that number. Flowers can bring pressure and set the edge. Frank Clark might be more dynamic but a rotation of Murphy, Hughes, Lawson, and Flowers and kicking Murphy or Lawson inside on 3rd and long looks pretty good. BTW, I think Murphy has a good year in 2019. The second year after knee surgery is better than the first usually. I know lots of folks are down on Murphy, but I think he produces good returns on the investment the Bills made in him.
