  1. I see you haven't been here too long, so let me help. WEO is the resident, long-term troll. There is no better way to describe it. A very small percentage of his posts have ANY positive value to the conversation. He is simply a jerk for the purpose for being a jerk. The best I can explain it. Very nice piece by Stefon.
  2. As SINGERS? None of them.
  3. I don't completely disagree with that. But quite honestly, I'd probably be very cautious with any "short" QB. Obviously they can be good. (Brees, Wilson for sure. Maybe Mayfield and Murray.) But to me, it's like having a batter come to bat with a strike or two already on the board. I actually love the way Tua plays but still have some lingering doubts, given his size.
  4. Good question. Who really knows? I'm guessing there was nothing wrong during his physical. Of course he could get injured, or otherwise disappoint. But I seriously doubt, if he fails, it will be ANYTHING like Johnny Football's embarrassing career. Sometimes I don't think people think for even 2 minutes before they post. (Not you, the OP)
  5. For the record, if he only had 8 plays and you looked at ALL of them, it isn't a "sample" it's a "census". And sample sizes don't mean anything when you have a verified census.
  6. Manziel was a total piece of garbage in college. I thought it was clear back then, he had a high bust factor. One thing I always ask is, "how will this guy handle a crapload of money and freedom?" I thought Manziel was likely to handle it badly. There is nothing about Tua to suggest he is in that same category.
  7. The Bills might want to look for QBs starting in the 4th or 5th rounds.
  8. IMO a normal offseason benefits Allen more than a shortened/non-existent one. I completely agree he needs to build timing (especially with Diggs) and continue to work on his game. With that said, I suppose no offseason may help the QBs who can freelance and have the skill to do it well. Not my ideal situation for Josh, but perhaps a comparative advantage over some other QBs. Now if this happened a few years down the line in Allen's growth, I'd say "Hell ya! Bring it on."
  9. Well, isn't most everything? I mean at least at some point? If a human had programmed the OS better it would repair itself!
  10. No Netflix at present. I'll see if I can grab it somewhere on the intertubes.
  11. I dig Spooky Tooth. But please, not as good as The Band. Great cover, though On that note. Not as good as Steely Dan (and they know it). But a very nice tribute and extremely current:
  12. I see them all the time. Of course I still work on old people's computers with older OS. But Windows 10 also has a BSOD, just looks different. Apple has it's own version--but it isn't blue. I'm guessing Linux has a comparable screen when the OS can't load.
  13. He's fine if he gets the ball and a whiny douche when he doesn't. He won't be the lead back with the Bills. How do you think he'll deal with that on game day? In the past the answer has been, "Not very well". But if you have learned nothing about McBeane, learn this: They don't want Allen Iverson team killers ("you talkin' bout practice") here. What you do during the week (meetings/practice) is VITAL to a team like this. It isn't a collection of random stars, but rather a cohesive unit that needs to practice together to play well. If you think tardiness/sleeping through meetings is something the Bills will tolerate, I think you are sorely mistaken,.
  14. Well, I have NEVER spent a single cent on a hooker, so I dunno where that comes from. But blow I get. Haven't touched the stuff in 13+ years. Now booze and marijuana, then you'd be in the right ballpark! And if you know of anyone with some magic mushrooms, please send them my way. And at this point, I may just need the stimulus to survive. (Fortunately I have some business this week, so things are looking up.) Your doing God's work, my friend. Give the Chicken Lady my best.
  15. Marv also said he wasn't looking for choirboys. Nobody in the NFL is looking for choirboys. But there is a difference between "not a choirboy" and being a disruptive scum bag---you get that, right? Look at the list of "infractions" in Gibson's tweet. Does THAT sound like the kind of guy Beane targets? I don't think Beane gives a damn about whether the players go to church, or how they act in their private/personal lives (short of creating issues for the team). But he sure values players who have a high work ethic and buy into what the team is doing. The excuse that his behavior was OK because, well Marrone and Coughlin suck, is preposterous. They were successful in his first year---went to the AFC championship game. If he can't buy into a team that's successful, how will he react during tough times? Well we know that too. He completely s#its the bed. Again, I'll say I think Fournette is a good back (not great, just very good). And if there is a way they can ensure he comes in with a fresh attitude and a willingness to buy-in, then maybe they take the shot. Unless they are close to certain, I think they take a hard pass. We get a lot of Fournette reports here in north Florida. Unless Beane finds something hidden inside Fournette that makes him believe otherwise, I can't see the Bills making this trade. If they do, i think Beane sets it up so that he has to toe the line or he's gone.
  16. I assert these lists are made mostly for clicks and arguments. I put no stock into any of them. Matt LaFleur is a top 10 NFL head coach with his whopping ONE year of experience? Why bother to argue when it's that stupid?
  17. Probably using it to pay this year's taxes.
  18. I think Fournette still has something left in the tank, and might be worth a 4th or 5th round pick. And he's on the last year (years?) of his rookie contract. With that said, he is a giant pain in the a$$ and nowhere near a "process guy" type. I guess I'd need to know, would the strong character in the locker room help to keep him in check, or is he too far gone down the douchebag hole? And, since he is near the end of that first contract, what's the chances he shows up to play without a holdout?
  19. I think some of the biggest lasting changes will be ways of working/doing business discovered during this period (more working from home, virtual meetings, etc) will start to become SOP on a wider, more regular basis. Efficiencies will be discovered. And IMO that's not always a good thing. While efficiency is extremely valued in the modern world, you lose a lot by not taking the slow, hard, inefficient route from time-to-time. I love the knowledge and beauty I find in the inefficiencies.
  20. The bolded is the real takeaway here. It's tough to compare across reports/studies and they use different criteria and methodology. It's one thing to say who is more susceptible to acquiring the virus and quite another to say who will likely be more harmed if they get the virus. Pitiful in so many ways.
  21. I have to say it depends on what the new normal is, with regards to Corona/Covid. If it still presents a real threat, then I will adjust my behavior quite a bit. But if the chances of catching this specific virus decline to levels low enough where the disease isn't on everyone's mind, I'll probably go about my business very similarly to how I did before this little crisis. I prefer to greet close friends with a handshake or even a hug/kiss. But in the short term, after restrictions are first lifted, I imagine my behavior will still be in semi-quarantine mode.
  22. Wait, Redtube AND Pornhub? I want to personally thank Jack for helping to keep these services alive, for free.
  23. Who pays for Pornhub? Free stuff not working for you anymore? Still waiting for mine. Should get direct deposited but not completely sure. I don't need it right now, but I'll need it to pay my taxes, I think.
