"A mask for every American" Dhvani.com
The Dean replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I don't really want to be that cynical, but it does seem odd that there is nothing on the site (short of a static FAQ that hasn't changed since the beginning, I think) to just get people update on the status. I understand they are probably overwhelmed, but a little information goes a long way. -

"A mask for every American" Dhvani.com

Nope. No info, no mask. But plenty of emails asking for me to donate more $$. I had intended to donate more, but not until I get the mask. I'm starting to think this was a scam/money grab. Perhaps the company just bit off more than it could chew and is figuring out what to do (if it hasn't just decided to keep the donations and just say "piss off" to those who didn't get the mask). -

Can Stefon Diggs Emerge as a Superstar in Buffalo?
The Dean replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never been a big fan of the term "superstar". But Diggs doesn't have to emerge as a legit NFL #1 WR star. He's already that. -
Well, I can't argue with the first sentence. But hoping Josh is too ill to play is more than I can endorse.

I like Fitz too. But IMO Fitz gives the Fins a better chance of winning THIS YEAR. So I hope the rookie starts.

Florida has also stopped letting Medical Examiners report cause of death. Apparently they were reporting higher numbers than the governor would like (that's a bit of an editorial, I suppose--draw your own conclusions) https://www.floridatoday.com/story/news/2020/05/15/coronavirus-florida-search-deaths-county-censored-florida-medical-examiners-covid-19-database/5182813002/

the Gotta Goes: Customers leary of public Loos
The Dean replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I hear ya. If I'm traveling I'll do my best to see if there is a decent restaurant/hotel within a mile or two drive from the exit. If I can hold out, I might drive 5 miles or more. Then I can get a drink, too. Which is a bonus! -

Put aside the pandemic for a second, I'd probably pay a buck or two to use a newly cleaned stall most any time! Those places can be disgusting! Like George Costanza, I have a pretty good idea of where I can stop, in an emergency, and use a relatively clean potty. But I always prefer the home-bowl advantage. -
Wood did a nice job. He's fairly knowledgeable for a non-bourbon professional. Always seems like a great, regular guy. He also has high-end bourbon taste and the money to pay for it. I'd love to share a bourbon with him sometime. I like Minnick just fine, too (the ever present mascot just kills me). But typically I avoid his celebrity interviews, as I have about zero interest in what any celebrity thinks. I prefer industry/distiller interviews. IMO Chuck Cowdery is the top of the bourbon writers.

In the "would you pay" situation, it would depend on what function I needed. If I had to sit down, I'd pay in a heartbeat. Just a pee---hell, I can always find a place to pee. I can slip out to my car, and pee in the bushes in the back of the parking lot, or something. -
Thank you. That was great. Much funnier than I would have expected. One complaint: Turn the damn phone! Why do idiots record things like this in portrait mode? We could have seen Fred, and the other roasters with just one simply adjustment. But other than that, nice job.

Fitz's beard is magnificent! Woods is a creepy disaster.

RIP Until now, he was totally unknown to me. Nice sound!

I find this sort of female objectification horrendous! With that said, Lindsay Rhodes vs Cynthia Frelund? Reasonably similar in looks, IMO (emphasis on reasonably and similar). Thin, tight bodies (exactly my type). Attractive, but not gorgeous, etc. And yes, what picture you choose makes a difference. For the record, aside from the "OBVIOUSLY HOT" on-air women (typically younger, sorry), I've always like Hannah Storm and Sage Steele. Both underrated as sportscasters, too, IMO. That adds to their appeal for me.

Good point. I should have added, I generously shared most of these with other fellow medical marijuana patients. Especially those with pain and looking to get some sleep. Is that better? I mean, even a little?
-
If I could share them with your virtually, I would. Just over 11mg thc per cookie, on average. And they are good.

Well, OK. To each their own. All I know is, during the NCAA basketball finals in 1990 I was saying (loudly as it turns out) Brent needs to be fired, at the restaurant across the way from CBS in LA. He was becoming increasingly God awful at calling the games and it was pissing me off. I thought he was fired on the Tuesday after the final game, and always felt a little guilty--as if my anti-Brent tirade might have had something to do with it. As it turned out, he was told before the game, so I had nothing to do with it. I could enjoy the result, guilt-free.

You don't see this on the shelves, but if you can get your hands on Hypafix tape, it is the absolute best thing ever, IMO. I use it to cover my fentanyl patch, as those have a tendency to come off easily. I believe their main use is to hold hoses, and such, to the patient. But the stuff is simply incredible. I can put a piece on my elbow, for example, and it stays securely connected for days on end, shower after shower. When you take it off, it comes off with no effort or pain, and leaves no residue. It's does take good sharp scissors, or a razor blade, to cut them properly. https://www.amazon.com/Hypafix-Dressing-Retention-Tape-Yards/dp/B014SUA3MM

Not at all, based on this one incident. However, should it (or something similarly stupid) should happen again, Marcel comparisons will be appropriate. But I don't get that vibe from Oliver.
