While I do not have perfect vision (I'm a bit near sighted) it's no problem for me to see the 40" TV on my dresser. I've actually had 40+" TVs inches from my bed, at times. But the truth is, if I'm ready to go to sleep, I'm not watching it, just on for the sound mostly---and the glow a bit, I guess. I used to have occasional insomnia but have learned to deal with it pretty well. I try not to get into bed until I'm ready to go to sleep. If I lay in bed and I'm not asleep in 15 minutes or so, I get up. But now that I make medical marijuana edibles, I typically get to sleep, and stay asleep, fairly easily. Though I am getting to bed (and getting up) later and later. So it's 11:15 now and I haven't even started to "get ready" to go to bed. Chances are, i won't get to sleep before 2am.

Always. If no TV where I'm staying I use my computer or tablet instead. I typically set the timer for it to shut off about an hour after I get to bed. It is very hard for me to fall asleep without it. I typically watch something funny I've seen many times before, so it's really white noise, but a chuckle or two as I get to sleep. Lately I usually fall asleep to Archer, Robot Chicken or South Park.

Has Wallace Wimple checked in yet? He keeps a very extensive Bird Book:

Never should have telegraphed that last play. Bad design for the last play of the game, IMO.

Josh Allen - week TWO report card

So he did NOT fumble. Play was blown dead, ergo NO fumble. So does he get the + back? -

😄 Except he did NOT fumble today. -
I am one who honors SDS with that title, though there may be other Bullwinkle fans as well.

Yes. But he still sucks. Right?

I finished the book (months ago, actually) but I forgot to post. Very enjoyable read. I've recommended it to many, particularly my friends who grew up in the Falls. One friend in particular who has worked for a certain boat ride for many, many years. Thought he'd get a kick out of it. He has't gotten around to reading it yet, as I'm sure I would have gotten a reaction by now. I finished the book (months ago, actually) but I forgot to post. Very enjoyable read. But if you grew up/lived in/hung out in Niagara Falls, you MUST read this. Lot's memories.

Robert Woods 4yr/65m extension
The Dean replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bob Woods is the ultimate team player WR. With the exception of not having blazing speed, everything he does is top notch. Great hands. Great routes. Great blocker. Great attitude. He deserves this all day long, IMO. -
OUTSTANDING!! I was wondering how you and Gus were doing. Great news indeed and thanks for sharing,.

“Cut Shots” that we missed yesterday....

I like the excess sauce. I get my wings as hot as possible (as long as the flavor stays traditional) and extra crispy--so there really isn't too much soggy going on. But the excess sauce let's you re-dip the wing after you bite into it so you can sauce the inside! Gotta keep it all sauced right up! -

Are you sure the table wasn't at fault here? I think we need the video! -

I've only had wings at BarBill once. They were good. But I can't imagine when very busy, how they individually hand paint each wing separately. Sounds impossible. But since I've never seen it in person, I can't say it isn't true. But I'm not sure the method of distributing sauce matters as much as the amount of sauce used (and the sauce itself, of course). Wings tossed in sauce, as in the picture posted here, can be taken out with tongs and shaken a time or two, and they are completely sauced with no excess. For those who like them saucy and VERY hot, they can be served that way, as well. Down here in Florida, I know when a place has no clue when the wings are barely sauced and there is no excess on the plate. There was a place in Niagara Falls that had GREAT wings back in the 70's-80's. They sauced their wings differently than I have seen anywhere. They had big bowls/vats of Hot/Medium/Mild sauce (maybe others, I can't remember). They put the wings in a strainer and dipped them into the big vats of sauce. Once, twice---maybe three times. I have to say it was an efficient way to really sauce the wings. Oh, it was called Tally Ho. And no, no relationship to Rick's Tally Ho as far a I know. -

There is definately something wrong in this picture, but it isn't "too much sauce". That's how wings are properly sauced. You can plate them by picking them out of the bowl individually or (for very saucy wings--think Duffs) you can pour the entire bowl onto a plate. Winner, winner. First thing I noticed was the putrid color of the sauce. Keep the mustard outta the damn wing sauce. -
While I'm sure many will believe Bills fans will be different, the word is for the two games letting some fans attend Week 1, the expectation is that fewer will attend than are allowed. Maybe expected from J-Ville but not KC. The secondary market has tickets below face value as well: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/09/teams-planning-for-fans-may-have-fewer-than-expected/

Funny thing is, I stopped at the only restaurant I know of in the area that serves that today. I ordered it and was told. "No boar today" Damn pandemic! -
I'm not crazy about the looks of it (I'm more of a traditionalist), but it seems like a fine building to go to watch basketball. Baseball and Football are meant to be played OUTSIDE, in the elements.

Barnwell - Bills biggest achilles heel

I don't really mean to single you out, but it has to be said. You say "ESPN says..." But WHO on ESPN? They have seemingly dozens of different announcers, analysts, etc giving opinions. ESPN almost never speaks with ONE voice and makes proclamations. Their employees do make statements however, and they have varying opinions. So can you give us a name? Supply a link? At least tell us where you heard/read/saw it? With that said, it's hard to argue with the "if he improves...if he doesn't" outcomes. I think he'll be just fine. ALERT: Two Bills Drive says Josh Allen will be just fine in 2020. -

What a pain in the a$$ it is to find the appropriate video on Twitter. Worst interface ever! Here's a direct link to the podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jimmy-tatro-josh-allen-tredavious-white-plus-bigger/id1089022756?i=1000490030278 And as Kirby noted, it's 1 hour and 25 minutes into the podcast. -
Actually South Park came up with that idea a few years ago! BB was a Taco, however.
