  1. THAT was my point, you putz. Why post in a thread you think is not worth anything? It shows something about you. I'm not sure what that is, but I suspect it is nothing good. Either celebrate this young woman, or take your shot. Your post was utterly worthless. You realize you can simply ignore a thread, right?
  2. The first two paragraphs were directed to you. The last paragraph was not.
  3. Yet you posted anyway. Interesting. Kind of like looking at the questions/answers on an Amazon listing . Someone asks a question and then another person responds "I have no idea. I didn't buy this product." Did that person think all the questions were directed specifically to them? Jessica is ranked #86 according to WTA. Good for her! I had no idea she was even that competitive. Nothing to do with "hero worship"--which was really an idiotic thing to say in the first place.
  4. Hapless and 716 have already provided the rebuttal to your comment here. But I'd like to add a few things: Yes, if you are infected and sneezing and coughing, that can spread the virus. But people with symptoms tend to, or at least SHOULD tend to, isolate themselves from others. Also since they are obviously sick, others can actively avoid contact with you, you should be sent home from work/school, etc. Add to that people are MOST contagious BEFORE they get symptoms. But yes, sick people can spread the virus. But since people are most contagious BEFORE they experience symptoms, and since many NEVER experience symptoms, the systems we typically have in place to avoid getting sick in general are not in play. How can you know if you've been into contact with a person who has Covid if you don't know the person has Covid? Only one way to know (as far as I can tell) and that is for as many people as possible to be TESTED. And I will agree, IF everyone wore masks and engaged in social distancing, then the non-symptomatic folks might not be as great of a danger. But that simply isn't happening--at least not here in Florida. At the coverage of the celebration at our county's Republican primary, the only person I saw wearing a mask was the TV reporter---and he was nowhere near anyone else. Others were unmasked, hugging, shaking hands, arms around each other talking, etc. I did not see any coverage of the Democratic primary celebrations, so I can't comment on how they behaved. I'd suspect it was somewhat better, but far from where we'd need it to be, if we don't want to be concerned about unsymptomatic folks getting tested. IMO we should assume EVERYONE has it (including ourselves unless you've been very recently tested), and behave as such. But that just isn't our current reality. The focus on "symptoms" is off base and making things worse. This is all selfish/moron talk, IMO. Virtually anyone can get the virus and they can infect others (with perhaps some rare exceptions) irrespective of what damage the virus causes to them personally. Forget the focus for a minute on symptomatic damage. Instead, stay laser focused on how the virus spreads, and work on a way to snuff it out.
  5. Because unsymptomatic people (pre-symptomatic and those who never show symptoms) who are Covid positive are THE MOST DANGEROUS of all, when it comes to the spreading of the virus. That's why!
  6. False positive? Better get retested.
  7. I expect someone named Myron Cohen to be a bit funnier. Then again, maybe not.
  8. Great to hear, LB3. Pretty quick turn around, compared to what I'm hearing from others. That's good news, too.
  9. IMO a great many so-called "Christians" have a number of beliefs and behaviors that don't reflect the life of Jesus whatsoever. These include bigotry, worshiping money over people, etc. They are fake Christians, in my mind.
  10. At SUNY Albany, in the mid 70s, the toilet paper was so bad, I swear it read Carborundum Coarse on the back. On a related note, one summer during college I worked in a paper factory in Niagara Falls (Nitec, back then). I was lucky to work on the TP/Tissue paper machines. My buddy had a much tougher job working on the coated paper machines.
  11. Well not as big of a difference as having no preseason, IMO.
  12. Real domes, or just retractable roofs?
  13. OK. I'm sold! Wait a minute! If that's the end, where does that tunnel lead. Something fishy going on here.
  14. I'll go ahead and give you the benefit of the doubt and simply assume you're screwing around here. But as Fearless Leader (SDS) pointed out it all depends on what "evidence" you choose to believe. So let's take a look to see what evidence is considered by people who actually believe the earth is flat. (My guess is there are very few who actually BELIEVE that, but espouse the position for other various reasons.) It's 2020. Aircraft and seacraft have been around for quite some time. Any pictures of the edge of the earth that can be verified? Since one can fly or "sail" east or west from the USA to get to China (for example) how can that be explained? Is there any reliable/confirmable evidence anyone has fallen off the edge of the earth? So yes, people believe what they choose to believe. Intelligent people do so based on reliable evidence. Those unaware of said evidence may not be "stupid" but simply ignorant. But I'd say purposeful ignorance is pretty damn stupid.
  15. I guarantee this comment wasn't post worthy. Kudos to the coaching staff for reaching out to others who can add to the knowledge base. Preparation and flexibility will likely be more important this year than is typical, IMO
  16. Of course. But I don't typically use a wet wipe to finish if I'm going right into the shower. BTW, seriously looking at getting a bidet.
  17. Toliet paper Replace and put the almost finished roll on the back of the toilet for cleanup duty (and sometime to clean up doody). In my current bathroom (and most bathrooms) over. In some bathrooms under works better though, in my experience. Paper towels Use them to the last towel. But get new roll ready nearby. Change them as soon as they are done. I use a vertical dispenser, so no over/under issues.
  18. Does Griffin have the six pack with him?
  19. I understand this looks to be "real". I was just stirring a bit of s#it, as we still have some hydroxychloroquine true believers
  20. With no salary cap and a lack of major TV revenue sharing, fielding a competitive team in Buffalo would be next to impossible, IMO.
  21. Western NY''s version of Florida Man?
  22. I was being serious. I know nothing of the Home Plate Lady and haven't seen a picture of Geddy since the 70's probably. Did he learn how to sing yet?
  23. Not quite sure what you are saying in the bolded text. Not enough of a concern considering the risks of Covid? And while I understand injection as a deal killer, where exactly was the injection to be given for ED? Right at the, er, spot? Man that's nasty,
