Hell hath no fury like Bon Jovi scorned ...and Bear Cams
The Dean replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall
In no way whatsoever do I want to be accused of defending the likes of Bongiovi. But I do not believe he had the wherewithal to "...put together a buying consortium..." I believe he was recruited by said consortium to be the mouthpiece/frontman. He was obviously the group's patsy, IMO. When he denied knowing the group was going to move the Bills, I actually believed him. I think he is that clueless. But believe him or not, f@#k him! But I hate bad raps. -
Yes. It most definately is. Thanks

Was there a shiv involved? Because that would be a big clue. -

My very first thought was, "The attacker might have been a fan of quality comedic movies". Truth is, way back when I used to listen to Second City Radio from a Toronto station. Rick Moranis was one of the main comics. Funny as hell, IMO. His movies? Well..... -
"No chance" against the Broncos? They have a chance to beat the Broncos with Stidham at QB, IMO. Who will be Denver's QB? Exactly my first thought. Do they still start releasing positive names with the first positive? Seems like there have been a number of false positives in the NFL previously. I definately wish Cam well and hope this is simply a mistake. Yes, weed smoking leads to Covid 19. I know that's isn't exactly what you are saying, but your logic is just as warped. Fortunately the league isn't stupid enough to forfeit the games a team can't play because of a world wide pandemic. They would be far better to cancel the season for all, than to punish teams for succumbing to some thing they CAN NOT control. A person can do plenty to minimize their chances, but still get infected.

Gregg Williams: Defensive Shenanigans on TNF
The Dean replied to sherpa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, Gase wasn't with the Fins last year, so not sure if that is relevant. But Flores was NEVER tanking. They were definately rebuilding and turning over the roster, though. The idea they were throwing games was always completely ridiculous. -

Steve Smith comments link? Go up about 12 posts, or so. Or do you mean a link to the "hard hits"? -

Williams is pure scum. Also he wasn't wearing a mask a LOT of the time. Fine him and suspend him. -
They are terms anyone with an 8th grade education (or better) should know. Also using a dictionary or google, comes in handy when you encounter a word unfamiliar to you. From what I've seen with other teams allowing fans, there is no ability to transfer your ticket. But this was very early on, so there could be changes.

I've watched the Bills my entire life. But I was only 3 in 1960. Not surprisingly the name didn't ring a bell. But after reading about the kickoff chant I instantly got some recollection. Must have been from TV/radio game broadcasts. Even at 3, I watched or listened to Bills games with my uncles and grandfather. Pirates games, too. Maz's World Series homer is one of my earliest memories. RIP Mack

Folding Tables for Sale.....North Tonawanda
The Dean replied to Amarillo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I imagine many Bills Mafia members go through several tables, each year. Somehow I don't think it has anything to do with the new features. 🤣 -

Indeed. But one thing about folding tables: They don't go bad. So next year's inventory should be good to go. -
HUGE GAME TONIGHT-Denver Broncos @ New York Jets

Not sure why ANY Bills fan would root for Gase getting fired, or quitting. -

SUSPEND Greggo. Blatant violation a fine won't fix. Convicted cheater/rule breaker. Give him another unpaid time out. -

Other than his horrendous pronunciation of "Buffalo" not bad. As you say, the Chicago really comes through, though. -
The general consensus, if I recall correctly, is that it was a good move for the Bills---but also that they overpaid. Few objected about the 1st rd pick given, but complained about the NUMBER of pics given. I've always thought that was a bad take. The deal was, basically a later #1 pick for Diggs---and the Bills threw in some pocket change (a 6th and NEXT year's 4th) and getting a penny (their 7th) back. The way 6th and 7th round picks change hands, their best use might be as pocket change for big trades. Beane can get those picks back in a heartbeat, if he needs to. IMO this trade was money from Day 1

Probably my favorite sports movie. RIP Mac. I don't care what Cherlene thinks of you.

I've always wanted a Vespa or something of the sort. There are two reasons I have yet to get one: Helmet hair: I will wear a helmet (though not required in Florida), but I don't have the right kind of hair for any hat. Completely screws up my coif. I drink: 'nuff said But I live about a mile from downtown and it would be nice to just scoot down and park easily. Still considering it.
