  1. That was the crux of my question (which remains unanswered). At first I thought it just might be a recommendation. But when I read the little blurb linked, it seemed like this might be a little more official. Surprised one of these "expert tweeters" hasn't addressed this yet.
  2. So does this put Toradol on the list of banned substances?
  3. Outstanding. Try a wink emoji or something, perhaps.
  4. Based on what, exactly? If you're willing to bet, you probably have some reasons. (I initially typed "must have some reasons" then realized I may be overestimating you.)
  5. The second tweet (Lasal) is far more believable than the first McGuigan), IMO.
  6. The defensive call was perfect. The DBs played the ball just about as well as they were able. They were out jumped on a perfect pass. Sometimes their best is better than your best.
  7. Actually, I thought you might have been claiming solid knowledge on Diggs' reasons/motivation for agreeing to the extension*. That or you were just being a cynic who likes to introduce some dark clouds into the bit of sunshine this news brought. But I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. Since you didn't claim to have any special friendship, or business association with Diggs, how would you have any idea what he considered or his motivations? Obviously helping the team make a nice signing this year helps the team. Why might that not be a factor in Diggs decision? *It was mentioned some restructures MIGHT not require a players consent. Even if that were the case, I doubt the Biils would just impose it without dealing with Diggs first.
  8. I'd say that's pretty darn good for a cornerback. 😶 Just playin. Who gives one little turd where some sportswriter ranks anyone? But I suspect since Tre is primarily a zone coverage corner that plays off coverage has something to do with why he isn't higher on this list.
  9. I think this is the point some others have been missing. I imagine the bonus is ALL NYS taxable. Since he'll make a lower salary, the non state taxable amount he would have made in three games in Florida is now reduced. If that's all true, how does it Not impact total taxes (state and federal)?
  10. If Diggs had a say in the matter, then it is absolutely good for the team to clear some cap for this year. The bill still comes due, but this isn't the best time for the Bills to pay that bill. If the Bills can now sign a CB/TE or re-up Josh, how can that not be good for the team?
  11. I'm going to be in the area (Gulfstream Park) the weekend of 6/11-12. Maybe I can find time to swing by and check it out.
  12. I'm not sure why people think this was some sort of accident/mistake. I have to believe this was screened internally by many people. I think they just didn't give a damn, as they found no competitive disadvantage to the "information" revealed. With that said, I think Urban is going to have a rough go of it in Jacksonville.
  13. Allenesque in arm strength and locking on to the long ball, perhaps. But other than that, I saw no Josh Allen in him. Mallet had a million dollar arm and a ten cent head. I couldn't believe all the Bills fans that wanted to get him AFTER he had already displayed that he was unable to play the position (at any reasonable level) in the NFL. And unlike some of the failed Bills QBs, Mallett started with the Pats*, so it's hard to say coaching ruined him.
  14. Yes, that seems to be clear now. Thanks for the info.
  15. That play gives me a heat attack every time I watch it. Make that two. Once when Josh decides to throw that pass. And a bigger one, right after the excitement of the reception, when Josh comes up looking hurt. So why do I rewatch it every time I come across it? BTW, that was a rhetorical question. I know why I watch it. I'm a Bills fan. And I'm getting ready for the season. OTA for long suffering Bills fans. Feels good not to suffer so much, or so often.
  16. Did you get the same vibe as I from the Heavy article?
  17. I wonder why they aren't in the list of teams with PSLs I've seen. Interesting. Thanks, Jack.
  18. $1,200 PSL charge on top of the ticket price?
  19. Really? A PSL is a SEPERATE charge that entitles you to buy a ticket. High ticket prices are not the same thing.
  20. I'm confused (not an unusual state for me). I was under the impression that Sweeney had Covid and developed myocarditis (as explained in the OP). The Heavy writer suggests he was a "close contact" of someone with Covid and makes it seem as though his myocarditis was unrelated to Covid. At least the way I read it: Did Sweeney have a know heart condition before the draft?
  21. Yes. Exactly why I prefer no roof at all. But if I'm buying a new car, not a convertible, I don't even consider one without a sunroof.
  22. Exactly! Can't the holder just snap it to himself and just run the ball back to the spot and set it? I thought McBeane valued versatile players. 🙃
  23. Minneapolis's stadium is NOT a "dome". Look at it. https://www.mortenson.com/-/media/project/mortenson/site/images/projects/us-bank-stadium/gallery-3.jpg Where is the "rounded vault" roof? That's the definition of a dome. As for if it's worth the money, that is a matter of opinion obviously. Many teams have decided it is worth it. I'd say if it was open twice a year, it would be worth it.* But I think the real issue is that teams should on close it if absolutely necessary. It should almost always be left open. (I think the league has something to say about when the roof is open. But if I were negotiating with the NFL and they wanted a covered stadium, I'd make it a point to get an exemption to let the team open the roof at will.) Then again, Pittsburgh, New England, Cleveland don't have ANY roof over their stadiums. Their fans must be much tougher than many of the posters here. *Actually I don't think a new covered stadium is "worth it". Period. But If forced to build one, then the added cost of a retractable roof is most definately "worth it", IMO.
  24. I wish people would stop calling any covered stadium a "Dome". Most newer covered stadiums aren't domes. Minneapolis and Seattle are two cities that ditched the crappy domes and built modern stadiums. There are some newer domes, however. Dallas has a bit of a dome, for example. I'm for an open stadium, as I always have been. I also think the current stadium is pretty good and, if possible, should be remodeled. But if it HAS to be a covered stadium, it has to have a retractable roof, IMO. And it should be open as often as possible.
