  1. I can't speak for any particular individual, but you understand some here will find any sliver of negativity to complain about, right? There aren't any diagrams, plans, rough designs, etc, but the complaints on how it sucks have already begun. Get used to it.
  2. I don't think you are missing anything. I assume this is just a warning by Pegula for negotiating purposes. It's hard for me to believe either side would be stupid enough to screw that up. They have to work together moving forward, right?
  3. No, they aren't saying that. At least not currently. Read it again. Their current lease at Highmark ends in 2023, so they will need to negotiate an extension or sign a new short-term lease. It's fairly clear to me they are simply saying IF they can't negotiate that extension/new lease with Erie County, they have some options. They named two of those options. But seriously, why wouldn't Erie County work out a deal and make some money? Don't be confused by the ignorant whining of some who simply can't think of anything to do other than complain.
  4. Completely agree. I have been to several indoor venues for football games. I never really enjoyed the experience half as much as when attending outdoors. Even in severe weather. I'd love to know how much overlap there is among the fans who insist the Pegulas should pay for everything and those who insist the stadium be downtown (or in any particular venue the fan prefers). Also many fans seem to ignore the Pegulas have data the fans do not. It's very easy to find fault/disagree with a decision when you have none of the information/data.
  5. While I don't think a future stadium should consider the current team's strengths in any way, you bring up an interesting point. I wonder if we can compare, for example, Jim Kelly's passing stats vs the opponents' QBs?
  6. I'd like to think they know that. I certainly hope so. This is what I was talking about. Building a stadium for the strengths of the current team/QB, who may or may not even be with the team when it's opened is preposterous. At best, how many years is Allen going to be with the Bills? Because the stadium will still be here long after he is no longer the QB.
  7. You do realize the Bills will be playing in OP until the new stadium is open, right? Is Erie County going to simply refuse to take the Bills' money until the stadium is ready? That's just crazy. This is just a negotiating ploy, and something that says "We have options". Everyone needs to unbunch their panties.
  8. I respect your opinion on what you'd prefer to have. But what the Bills team is NOW shouldn't play into this decision, at all, IMO. The team won't be the same in 2025-2026. And what about the team in 2030? Building a stadium with the current team in mind is a fool's errand, IMO.
  9. Yes, that's why it is complicated. But I don't think NYS rules micromanage what the county and the team decide to do. Non vaccinated people are NOT a protected group---yet. So I don't think a discrimination suit would work---yet. If the County/Bills really do try to enforce that rule, there will be lawsuits I suspect. Probably several. Break out the popcorn!
  10. That's my point. ALLOWED doesn't mean REQUIRED. But yes, it's complicated and would likely end up in court. I wouldn't make any predictions about the outcome.
  11. I'm not sure the state law dictates you HAVE to open everything up. It ALLOWS you to open up. Does state law dictate you can't bring water bottles into a stadium? I highly doubt it, but the Bills prevent it. Does the state dictate ticket prices? I think the team, and the county have a LOT of leeway over what they can do. However, the only likely "truth" here is, if and when the Bills actually say you must be vaccinated to attend (and if the state protests), the courts will decide the issue. Then we'll find out.
  12. While I suppose proof on entry isn't impossible (but very difficult) enforcement how would it be enforced? I wonder if the Bills are going to make a nice "donation" to acquire that url? I KNEW it!
  13. Happy Birthday! I'm very impressed to see a 100 year old on the forum. Very impressive!
  14. Reid has to be #1 IMO. Then again remember these lists are designed to be click bait and discussed on forums. And we took the bait.
  15. I've seen it as well, but it's relatively rare. And it rarely works against a QB as mobile as Murray. Against Bledsoe? Sure, give it a shot, maybe.
  16. Yes, I understand this is the time of year for great expectations and glowing evaluations of prospects based on some light work in shorts. But it doesn't make it any less exciting to me. I'm salivating!
  17. I go back and forth on Ertz. I think he helps up the talent at the position. As long as the price isn't too high (trade value and cap hit), he probably helps the team. But bottom line: I trust Beane to make the decision.
  18. How often do these recommendations (especially when they have been made in the past) implemented by the NFL. Just curious if anyone knows. Another tidbit: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10004746-nflpa-says-in-memo-that-toradol-shouldnt-be-used-because-of-risk-of-bleeding
  19. Pass rushes rarely get to a QB on a hail mary. It doesn't make any sense to send extra guys, so it's done with 3-4 defensive lineman. I thought the design was fine. And, for the most part, the defenders played about as well as they are capable. They got beat on this play. Move on. IMO, anyway.
  20. That's over 4 years. Are you ready to give it all up for a paltry sum of less than $3 mill per year? 🙃
  21. 😄 But be fair. There are several posters here who would have meant that. Always pissing in the Cheerios. How am I supposed to know the reputation of a guy with 400 posts, who just joined a couple years ago. Hell even I try to tip it off if I'm just kidding around.
