  1. Sorry for the confusion, Mike. I'm not familar with that particular SD or with the Dushore area. This wil be my first visit. "Love that Super Duper" was the SD slogan, at least in WNY. And Joey (a woman) was their spokesperson. "Not $2.49. Not $2.19. Only $1.99 only at Super Duper. Love that Super Duper!" or something along those lines. The app is perfectly legal. I'm saying, some of its content may not be completely legal. To my knowledge DTV has the sole license to carry out of market games within the USA.
  2. Love that Super Duper! Whatever became of Joey? You have to attest to the fact you CANNOT get DTV. There are several legitimate reasons it can be unavailable to someone. I lived in a condo for years, and the association does not allow satellite dishes. Now I'm in a small apartment bldg (4 units). I can get the online package as I don't own the house and my landord won't get DTV. There may also be issues with reception depending on your location. Where do you live? Dofu isn't licensed to carry out of market NFL games. So unless you in the Bills market, I doubt this is legal.
  3. This is really a question for Off the Wall, but I'll slide it in here. For the Fins game in September, I will be in Dushore PA at a nice (hopefully) resort lodge. We're only there for a few days with friends, so really don't want to drive to Scranton to go to a sports bar. Does anyone have any idea if a local Dushore bar has the NFL Ticket? For the record, I expect crickets here.
  4. This is interesting and something I never thought of. Thanks, Jack. But as far as I know, the Sunday Ticket via DirectTV is the only legal way to make sure you can see every Sunday NFL game. They have (at least had) exclusive USA rights to the entire Sunday schedule. If you live in a situation where you cannot get DirectTV you can buy an online package. Please let me know if this has changed as I may have to pull the trigger on the Ticket this year, due some travel situations early in the season.
  5. What's the verdict? And for the record, pulled pork over brisket any day of the week! I'm with Archer on that.
  6. Met a buddy from Buffalo at Gulfstream Park a few weeks ago. Our plan was to go to Isiah's restaurant for some BBQ, but unfortunately for us it is one of those places that closes once it sells out. (At least according to its website at the time.) We have a few places like that around here, too. They tend to be quite good. Unfortunately for us, by the time we were done at the track they had long sold out. I see now the website says they close at 6PM or sell out. Still couldn't have made it there from Gulfstream in time.
  7. Seriously? "I don't see nothing happening" means you don't see NOTHING happening, Which means you see SOMETHING happening. He was just making fun of your use of the double negative.
  8. No "inside information"? So does he have "outside information", or no information at all and it is a very slow NFL news day?
  9. Very hard for me to comprehend why it took so long. Well deserved.
  10. Ya think? Also the guy's brain revealed he had CTE, almost certainly as a result of playing football.
  11. Fantastic! Congrats to the parents. May she be a beacon of good luck to the Bills this season.
  12. I know this sounds kind of vanilla, but I root for EVERY Bill.
  13. Really looking forward to watching these. I can't remember my first game at the Rockpile. But I won two season tickets from a Tops' Raffle. It was 64 or 65. Now to go watch some Cookie!
  14. Yes, I understand. Most people are lazy with their language and with their thinking. But Pegula isn't paying for the stadium, at least not for all of it. The taxpayers of NYS and Erie County are on the hook, too. But if Terry was footing the ENTIRE bill, don't you think it a bit presumptuous to tell him what kind of stadium he should build?
  15. Have you bothered to read any of the responses in this thread? A retractable roof* is, BY FAR, the most expensive option. * For all the talk of "domes" very few current stadiums have DOMES as their roofs. I believe the majority of enclosed stadiums are not domed.
  16. I don't think we are disagreeing all that much. It will be tough for Stevenson to make the 53, IMO. If he does, it will likely be as a return specialist. BUT, if he does contribute on offense this year, at all, my guess is it will be in the slot, and not as an outside WR. I really don't think anyone on the roster other than Cole would make an ideal slot receiver, at the moment. I love McKenzie but don't think using him as the every down slot works to his advantage. I'd foresee a slot by committee, if Cole is gone and they don't pick up someone else. Should that happen, and should Stevenson make the 53, don't be surprised if he is one of those contributing in that position. But yes, he has a LOT of work to do before then.
  17. Yolo already took care of the fist part. Pay attention! 😶 As for Stevenson, I've seen multiple other analyses (including the one you posted) that suggest the slot is his best chance to make it on offense early in his career. I can try to dig more up when I get home if you like. From what I remember his strengths were speed and shiftyness. One weaknesses I think I recall was he could be out physicalled (is that a word?) early in his route. Sine the Bills coaching staff seems to be pretty good at "coahing guys up", and since many analysts suggest his best chance is in the slot, why shouldn't he be considered a possibility in a slot receiver by committee approach? Let me, one again, make clear I really hope Cole is there to make this discussion moot.
  18. I have to agree. Based on what? Looked pretty good last year with an injured, fairly washed up QB. No disrespect to Brees, who had a great career. But if anyone was "a shell of himself" last year it was Drew. Maybe this is the year Sanders loses it, but I'm guessing he'll be an upgrade over Brown from last year. I also think Brown may be an upgrade from Brown last year.
  19. Not sure who is among that group. Don't know that I've seen that response. But I'd like to think Pegula addressed that very thing in the research they've been conducting. If they were competent I'm going to assume they tested how much more the fan base was willing to spend on a Bills ticket in a covered stadium vs an open air stadium in even the best weather conditions.
  20. Thanks for the clarification.
  21. Cole could opt out and still be paid this year, I think. But I doubt he chooses that option as he is committed to living his life as usual. But he certainly has that option. While I hope he stays and plays, should he leave is Marquez Stevenson a possibility for a replacement? I'm not saying he comes in as a raw rookie and owns the spot. But rather as a rotational player in the role.
  22. From the WKBW article Who is Buckley? There is no other mention of him/her in the article. And that doesn't look like a question to me.
  23. 🤣 You got that right. I can't even blame autocorrect for that mistake. Just poor typing, I'm guessing
  24. True. But in this case a "threat" has yet to be made. A foreshadow to a possible thread? Maybe
