  1. Not sure I understood that sentence. But no, a forfeit is not the forgone conclusion if the Titans game can't be played Tuesday.
  2. Apparently it can't be Saturday due to contracts. I'm still rooting for Monday night, even though I typically prefer the Bills play Sunday at 1pm eastern.
  3. Will they go to Alpha, Delta when they get past Plan Z?
  4. I doubt the NFL forfeits the game that quickly, though it might. IMO they will do everything they can to preserve the game.
  5. Not that I can see. Where did you get that?
  6. Of course it's crazy to speculate without more info. But from what I'm seeing now, the Bills/Chiefs game has not been given an exact time. Hopefully that will allow the league to move it to Monday, which will make a lot of people happy (including me). But the Chiefs will still have extra time to prepare.
  7. Then you'll complain the Bills had an advantage? Come to think of it, the Bills have probably already started prepping a bit for the Chiefs, knowing the Titans game is still up in the air.
  8. Faulty calendar? The Chiefs are (or should be) preparing for the Raiders at this time, not the Bills. Won't start preparing for them until Monday. If the Bills find out before Sunday they are playing on Thursday, they have extra days to prepare. As far as coaching prep, I'm guessing the Bills have been doing that prep for awhile.
  9. But then the Bills will have had way more time between games. UNFAIR!!! 🥵
  10. Prepare for a short week until it happens? If you have injuries the prior week, how do you do that. The games come one at a time. That's the way they are played. Not sure what you mean by the bolded. You control the things you can control. When things are out of your control, you do the best you can and don't make excuses. Things are rarely 100% fair. This is a particular challenging season, given Covid. There will be some inequities when the things to sideways. Would you be pleading the Chiefs case should the Bills get this week off and they actually play Thursday?
  11. 6pm is local Nashville game time. I feel bad for the guy who runs the 506 this year.
  12. Playing a team on a short week, when the other team has more time to prepare, happens EVERY YEAR. Some of you people must be fun in an actual crisis.
  13. Um, Duh. But it is what it is. Deal with it.
  14. Just like what happens to some teams EVERY year. Toughen up!
  15. Not yet. And don't forget, the Bills are not losing a primetime game. Just trading the Titans for the Chiefs (unless/until the other shoe drops)/
  16. That's my thinking. WAY too much whining going on in this thread, IMO. If the Bills/Titans gets postponed until later in the year, should the Chiefs fans complain the Bills didn't have to play this past weekend and had more time in between games?
  17. I also think it is inevitable. But I think the NFL is trying to delay that for as long as possible. Otherwise if they just start turfing games to week 18, they may have to add week 19 and push back the playoffs. I don't think Goodell deserves too much abuse for this (maybe for other things, though). They are in a very difficult situation. Teams have to be willing to go with the flow and adjust on the fly. They knew that coming into the season. There will be some changes that might give one team a slight advantage. But that's nothing new---happens with the schedule every year. You just deal with it. If a situation like the Titans happens to another team, i fear the NFL may have to pause the season.
  18. Probably already been addressed, but the Chiefs play again the following Thursday. That's probably why, so they don't have reschedule even more games. Do we know the Sunday game time yet? I had the Chiefs schedule wrong. My bad.
  19. I know I already mentioned this, but I didn't quite know WTF just happened, after seeing it live. When I saw the replay, I thought for a second maybe it was a direct snap. Then I realized what exactly happened. A Raider friend of mine texted "WTF was THAT?" Great execution.
  20. Oh, yes of course. But don't NFL changes (for safety) typically get accepted down the line? Maybe not. But back then, I think those blocks were legal in the NFL, too. Not diminishing what Ike did at all. Just something I was noticing even before they happened. But I'm not sure what the bolded sentence is supposed to say. Then again, I've had a couple. EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. Shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. My bad
  21. Thanks for posting that. That is some nice HS tape there. Very entertaining, too. I will say, I'm not sure some of those blocks on returns are legal anymore. Nevertheless, impressive. Showed him at several positions, offense and defense. And the ST reel is very impressive, IMO.
  22. This thread is aging well. Like Lizzo's thong, I'm guessing.
  23. Me neither. Unfortunately the Bills WALLOW in it. It's a bit like wearing a mask during the Covid outbreak. Be careful for others!
  24. It was so fast I actually missed that it was handed off. Very good execution. I have to say, I've always been a McKenzie fan. He brings a LOT of excitement when he touches the ball.
  25. Yes, of course. But it is less fluid than it was a few hours ago. If anything goes sideways now, it will have to be postponed to another week. Lots of fantasy implications.
